What's the weather where you are?

In Denmark the wether is pretty sunny right now and have been for a longer period. But the temperature is quite low and snow is still a part of the landscape. It has been very cold and the more usually warmer wether at this time seems to be on hold. Temperature is expected between −2 during nights and max +10C during day the next 15 days ahead, so.....

Same here. Beautiful sunny skies, cold north-eastern wind, low temperatures with a bit of frost at night-time. What I find bizar is that it remains dry. Hardly any rain or snow. The Netherlands = rain country.
We have some flowers in the garden. Daisies (although they don't look healthy), snowdrops (they have lasted a long time) and crocusses.
My kids have built a fire in the garden and are frying sausages... :D

BTW, when the sun sets, the colours are simply stunning.

Sunny + 25 no snow.. Poland :)

Wow, that's a drastic difference from the blizzard sunday: http://www.sott.net/article/260401-Blizzard-grips-Poland-leaves-100000-without-power

Edit: This seems so strange, obviously you must have meant 25+ in Fahrenheit, but how did the snow melt this fast?

In Belarus blizzards gave way to rain and wet snow as temperatures went up above zero. There are warnings about southern regions soon suffering "historical floods". Here, in the northern city, rubber boots also appear to be the best attire for now!

After a few days (in Buenos Aires) of autumn-winter-like weather in late summer (mid to late march) with lower temperatures than the average for that time of the year, we are having a couple of summer-like days in this early autumn; wet and warm, low preasure. Clouds seem to be gathering, we may be heading for a storm.

And finally the storm came, on monday night to tuesday morning, and the results can be read here in SOTT:

It was terrible, they said the second worst one since 1906. I'm safe because I'm currently living in an area that is in a more or less higher altitude than the average for the town, but thousands of people are having a very bad time, I am becoming aware of a lot of stories of people whose lives are ruined by water (including acquaintances and friends' relatives), some people lost everything. I just helped my roommate to carry a few clothes and ropes that we are donnating to the victims of the floods. Some places had a flood for the first time.

I live in Paris and I am French. It is unusually very very cold for an April as in all Europe. Last year I remember that it was far hotter than today. We are all waiting spring here.

PS: I am beginners in English. I hope you understand me.

Hi Sant-biote, welcome to the forum. We suggest that all new forum members write a little something about themselves and how they found the forum in the Newbies section.

If you're not quite sure what to write, just look at how other newbies have done it to get an idea. :)

That sounds terrible indeed, Graalsword. I am glad you are okay and helping others.
Here is another sott article (German) which mentions that 8 people were killed.

Good chance there're meteorological disasters going on right now in regions of Belarus and western Poland. Ditto areas in the Ukraine.

I'm watching the news. The images and the testimony of the people are heartbreaking. Circa 50 deaths and many missing people. The governor visited the place and had to leave sooner than expected because everyone is obviously angry.

Hi Saint-biote,

Your English is fine and if you network regularly, it will become better form post to post. So don'T worry about that.

By the way, hoping that you are not a Saint-biote from a dangerous Goa'uld.

Cloudy and rainy here in Vancouver. Notably, we've been spared from almost all major weather changes that have been reported elsewhere across Canada. Things have been very typical, just a little more rainy. Must be the valley's Geography.

Thank you. Yes 6 or 8 people in the city of Buenos Aires, but about 50 in La Plata, an important town 59 kmts southeast of Buenos Aires.

It is another example of the masses turning against governments in a cataclysmic time, when they see that they can't protect them from the fury of nature or the cosmos

Tokyo had unusually cold winter this year. But in the last month, Cherryblossom was bloomed 10days earlier than usual. When I talked to my mother two weeks ago, she told me that the weather was hot almost like the beginning of summer. Now the temperture dropped once again in the city.
