What's the weather where you are?

Big storm with a lot of rain and lightning this morning in Gostivar - Macedonia. Strong thunder woke me up this morning. Its pouring rain. Temperatures are around 7-8C. No signs of stopping or weakening yet.
And just a few hours after my post here , around noon time, the weather was clear and temperature was around 20C. What a quick change in just a few hours.

La plata - Argentina

It's been raining all day, right now temperature is 12 C. We have periods of very hot days, a couple of days ago we have reached 26 C, then it started to rain until now. I think here we all are getting used to have 26 C in the afternoon (if we are lucky) and a very sunny day and then have 12 C, with wind and rain at night. We are in winter since march, our autumn has been very cold since the begining, there was almost no difference between autumn and winter. It is supposed to be spring but... I barely see flowers, insects, I really hate bees but I would like to see one even though I hate them and all kind of insect that flys, but this is being very weird. I didn't see any ant this "spring". So if this still being in this way I think there will be no summer. Well, this is our "amazing" weather at least in this part of Argentina.

Most of the water is gone from the hurricane, and things almost back to normal.
(still waiting on phone service, but have internet (at home only) as of yesterday)
This week has been glorious with crisp mornings and beautiful, clear, warm afternoons. Leaves are starting to change.

Had another frost this morning here on the northern tablelands, NSW, Australia. Temps are forecast to be higher overnight for the next few days, with showers and possible storms forecast.

This has been the coldest spring weather that I can remember having in this area. It has been one cold front after another, cold winds and a real winter weather pattern. Many of the trees and plants have tried to flower a few times, only to drop them off again. A couple of the more sensitive trees are only now developing their leaves. The grass is also reluctant to grow much, despite plenty of rain.

We're finally seeing some spring sunshine and warmth down under (Western Australia). The seasons seem to have shifted a bit over the last few years, with the hot weather coming a month or two later than "normal". This is the coldest spring we've had for quite some time. Supposedly it's going to be 35 c on saturday! :)

Croatia
Cold morning and night, during the day pleasant 16-18 ° C.

An unusual happening from last week or so, here in Texas. This was after hearing a single faint rumble of thunder a few minutes earlier, a I had just taken my dad to his semi truck so he could leave for his work. I looked to the south, and in a relatively opaque section of the clouds, a ripple of purple lightning traveled from west to east. It was brief, but very clearly registered to me as purple. This was strange, so I waited to see what the thunder would sound like, but the thunder never came. I don't recall hearing any more thunder that evening.

The clouds did not seem very far away. Most of the sky was filled with semi-transparent clouds with patches of opaque ones. A few minutes earlier we had a brilliant sunset effect that lit the whole area up with a yellowish light. I've seen this before; the sky in the distance - toward the setting sun - was clear, but we had this canopy of clouds overhead. When this happens, it seems to trap the light and fill the atmosphere with the color of the sunset. Once our whole area lit up pink due to this, a few years ago.

As far as general weather goes, so far the fall has seemed prettly mild, with perhaps unusually warm weather. Some storms are coming through now and the next few days, so we'll see what that does.

Since yesterday evening strong south wind and high temperatures in western parts of Macedonia.
This morning it was 17C and it will probably go above 20C during the day. Still, the strong south wind blows. It is very unusual to have such high temperatures during this period.
Usually, if the south wind blows at this time of the year , then after a few days there will be a cold wave or some snowfall.
We will see what it will be this time

Mid-North coast of NSW, Australia.

It's not quite summer yet, and some very hot (25-30 degrees C), dry and windy days-perfect for bushfires. There were 4 small ones in my town yesterday, one quite close to my house. Roads and highways (Pacific Highway between Newcastle and Bulahdelah) were closed for much of yesterday. The one near me was deliberately lit by a firebug-they have no concept of the destruction they can potentially cause.

Winter arrived in Central Northern Spain. This morning it was zero degrees Celsius.

It's been zero degrees Celsius today here too, although in our case it's more like the autumn's return than the winter's arrival (it was -12 C a couple of days ago). We are having tons of snow in Siberia today.

Wish everyone a mild winter season, strong immunity and good health. :flowers:

In the Midwest, USA (Tri-state area of Indiana, Ohio, Michigan), we've been having an Indian Summer, with temps in the 60-70's F (15 - 23C) for the past two weeks. Even at night, temperatures are mild for this time of year, with only some light frost a couple of nights.

We have been enjoying this immensely, but I'm not holding my breath for a mild Winter. Forecasts say the back half of Winter is going to be extremely cold and snowy. Would be nice if they are wrong!

And it brings a huge storm this morning. At 8:00 it was almost dark from the clouds. Heavy rains and thunders( very unusual in this part of the year) and lots of power outages.

Today in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia, it was 34C, it's still quite warm at 10.30pm.

It seems all along the eastern coast everybody is hoping for rain, hopefully this is not a sign of a long hot summer, as summer hasn't officially started yet.
