What's your goal?

1- to learn and understand as much as I can
2- to fix my broken machine so that I am not controlled by my programs anymore
3- to discover my real essence
4- to heal my soul so I can be able to truly love and help others
5- to have the willpower to follow the diet so I can heal my body
6- to be able to face objective reality without fear

For two decades I had not a goal. Just to be my self and try understand the essence of life.

When I woke up, for one decade my goal was to learn, to detox, to increase my overall knowledge.

Now I'm deeply religious (FOTCM) and I have faith. I seek to fulfil my destiny, karmic profile, or whatever is what I have to DO in this life.

For what is worth I love computer science engineering. I believe that my destiny must have something to do with it. So I'm working to assist others, to provide services to others, using computer science as a tool. Thanks to the Cosmic Mind it seems to me that I am finally moving forward, with a precise direction!

Well put, Rose. :)

-To be as less mechanic as possible, to be more conscious

-To be/see as objective as possible

-To comprehend! - and to adapt! (All & Everything ;))

-To become aware of my capabilities and to use them (concerning the profession)

-To be better in English

I think everybody on this forum wants the same goal, and have the same aim. Clean your machine, your essence, detox.

Why not to put a more detalied problem?

Hi cubbex,

although I understand your point that everybody has more or less the same goals on this forum, answering that question has been useful to me in the sense that it has helped me to determine what my real goals are, to reflect upon what's really important for me at this time and to realize that, at this point, all the previous goals I've had in my life have become secondary. So, for me at least, it is a relevant question. FWIW.

I see mountains ahead of me when it comes to The Work, so I'll leave that as a given.

More specifically, a goal that has persisted with much force since I was very little has been to discover "the purely creative act." I think I have understood in some part of me that the act is not individual, but instead a sort of 'wiring the circuits' in a cosmic sense. For me specifically, I know it has to do with exploring sound and movement. To be able to 'ride the wave' of generated sound (or gamut of sound) and be active in it, or to discover a momentum/shape of my body (or multiple bodies) in space that communicate Truth (as near to objective as is possible on this density) without need of analysis or comment.

With dance or musical performance, my goal is to be able to "broadcast the frequency of now-ness." This, as far as I am concerned, MUST be a major key in any effort toward healing on any point of the human scale. To my mind, true art must be a participatory act. The image of Greek theater to me seemed to be one in which an environment of participatory work was generated, the work of cleansing. Utilizing a real technology in order to do the work of surgeons. I want to help realize that again! :wizard:

*To Learn How To Breathe (or 'To Be')
*To Learn How To Move

= To learn How To Vibrate Optimally :)

To this day in terms of goal setting I've always loved the being-obligation strivings (I call them the commandments) of the Very Saintly Ashiata Shiemash, from Beelzebub's Tales to his Grandson:

1. Striving to have in one's ordinary being-existence everything satisfying and really necessary for the planetary body.
2. Striving to have a constant and unflagging instinctive need to perfect oneself in the sense of Being.
3. Striving to know ever more and more about the laws of world-creation and world-maintenance.
4. Striving, from the beginning of one's existence, to pay as quickly as possible for one's arising and individuality, in order to be free to lighten up as much as possible the sorrow of our Common Father.
5. Striving always to assist the most rapid perfection of other beings, both those similar to oneself and those of other forms, up to the degree of the sacred 'Mart-fotai,' that is, up to the degree of self-individuality.

It's practically a bona-fide STO credo. :D

I revised my goal:

Knowledge/information replication & making it available.

Includes, but not limited to:

-Cleaning own machine, for purposes of minimizing data/knowledge corruption by medium. Proper maintenance of such state.
-To give more (or as much at least) then I take.
-Being responsible for what I do.
-Living/setting an example.
-Constant learning/revisions to assist in fine tuning of Knowledge/information (for replication) to be as close to being objective as possible.

That's all there is for me :)
