I'm sure Biden/Harris will get right on that (sarcasm). She's dreaming. It's a nice wishlist but we are talking about election fraud and an attempted coup. I agree martial law is problematic, but so is letting this election steal go unchecked. To comments about insurrection act and martial law she says 'absolutely not' and then starts talking about the fed and community currencies? Please
I hear you. However, it's ignited a good argument in myself just reading her tweets.
It's certainly something to consider in terms of taking a step back before jumping on the Insurrection Act wagon.
And it's saying something no one else is saying: that the Federal Reserve/Deep State/CIA could co-opt the whole enchilada. And once we've signed away our Constitutional Rights, the sky is the limit for them, she seems to be saying.
I confess I have the same reaction, though, to much of what she's saying. It's "pie in the sky."
But, still, I like taking on her point of view and trying to see things from that perspective. It's something to examine at least, as preposterous seeming as it is on the face of it.
CAN we go to our legislatures instead of sanctioning Marshal Law and/or the Insurrection Act? What if instead of the Proud Boys we had groups that got together on just such an initiative?
Anyway, again, I hear you. It's my gut reaction as well. But I still thought having this conversation was worth it, since so much is at stake however this goes. We're in very dangerous waters, and too many are seemingly putting too much emphasis on what Trump is able to do, instead of taking back power themselves, starting at the local level.
What DO we have right now in our favor? People, either Republicans or disaffected Democrats, or simply Trump supporters who have awakened to the idea that they NEED to get involved politically. That's a big deal, actually. So, what's the first thing we do? Give that power away, according to Fitts. Again, it's something to carefully consider.
