Atreides and "The List"

Re: Re: Session 12 December 2010

I was shocked to know of Artreides condition. I'm very sorry to hear that he's back in hospital...I'm sending all the strength to Artreides, and wish for 2011 to bring him health.
Big hugs to all of you in the Chateau who are going through this ordeal, particularly Laura. As a mother it must be very painful to see your child, adult or not, having to go through this.

The information about fruit and vegetables also came as a big shocker. Definitely a crucial bit of information in which we must dig our hands into and do a lot of research.

Yes, it is really heartbreaking.

Do you Laura, or the rest of the team need any further support?

I'll add that I too am sorry to hear of this update on Artreides condition. Big hugs to all of you at the Chateau  and a speedy recovery by Atreides.

Also, I'll add my offer of help, if required in any way.

I'm sorry that Atreides is back in the hospital, too. :( Hugs to you all; this must be very stressful for you. My grandfather was on antibiotic drips in the hospital for a few weeks recently, albeit for a somewhat less serious infection, so I can relate to what you're going through.

Anything I could help you with, too? I'm not a computer expert, but I might be able to help with something repetitive and tedious for you. Or, you know, free hugs.

The thing that is bugging me the most in the middle of all this is that I don't have my cigarettes. Somehow, that really adds to the stress. I've received some from members in the UK, but they don't last very long because I'm not the only one who smokes them. Somehow, that little "dig" from the PTB (even if unconscious), really gets to me.

I would say, don't start planning on moving or agitating over it, start working on making yourself valuable enough to the Universe that IT sees you as necessary for the future - then you can be sure that the opportunity will be given to you.

On another note, Atriedes is back in the hospital. Putting high powered antibiotics in his stomach was NOT a good idea. He's back on the IV version as well as IV feeding until things are sorted out in his innards. His bloodwork shows that the infection IS decreasing steadily, so no surgery, thank DCM.

My sympathies Laura, to you and your family. I wish Atriedes a speedy recovery. :flowers:

I have had a child in the hospital on IV due to infection (rotavirus). It's difficult to think about anything other than whatever they need to get better when this happens.

Wishing you guys the best.

Re: Re: Session 12 December 2010

I'm really sad to hear Atreides had to be back in the hospital. Is there anything else you guys need, Laura? I'll also see what I can do about the cigarettes. May DMC give you all the guidance and strength you need. Please tell Atreides that we are all with him and are praying for his fastest and fullest recovery.

Re: Re: Session 12 December 2010

Would Atreides or you guys object if I would do some long distance Reiki? My Reiki teacher has a clean and good lineage, and the 'style' is the traditional Usui, coming from the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai school in Japan.

Oh,no...
Sorry to hear about Atriedes. I hope he gets better soon so he can get home and continue his healing.
Is he also doing pipe breathing while in the hospital?
I can imagine that being out of ciggies really add to feeling the stress.
NYC has some serious anti-tobacco laws but we will see if we can get some to you since the type you smoke
is easy to find here.

My thoughts are with you Atreides on your full recovery. You have the best of humans caring for you! :hug2:

Yes, I'm doing much better, thanks. Still taking vit.C, with a sluggish tummy and a bit tired, but the pain is all gone. I had some tests done too, and the only thing a bit high were the white blood cells, so I must be at the end of this bug, thankfully.[/quote]

Thank goodness Ailén! :flowers:

Now we just hope that Atreides gets better and better every day. It could have been worse! We were REALLY worried...

ALL of you, please detox if you haven't started yet. It can save your life, really. If your bodies are not prepared, a bug like this one could really take your life. So please, everybody, be careful.

Indeed Ailén, if ever a new year’s resolution, this one is so important – thanks for the message again!

Laura, this has been an awful ordeal for you and yours, keep well and rested, too. :flowers:

Anyway, they tell a person to go on a no residue diet during flare-ups, and then they can go back to regular food until their next acute attack. Right. […] Nobody should have to suffer like that day after day for all their life.

Yes, no one should not have to suffer like this. So very glad the infection in falling, and indeed thanks to the :cool2: DCM!

Thank the Universe that Atriedes got the treatment that was necessary in time. I cannot imagine the alternative, nor do I want to. The no vegetable information is really interesting - hang in there Atriedes, take the food intake slowly and know that you're all getting a lot of energetic support from all of us who aren't there with you.

Ditto big time! :)

Re: Re: Session 12 December 2010

Really sorry to hear Atriedes is back in the hospital. :( But at least the infection is dying which is a good thing. Hopefully he will be back home in no time.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers! :flowers:

Re: Re: Session 12 December 2010

Wishing you Laura and everyone at the Chateau continued support for Atreides. I hope he can return home well soon.

Atreides, I hope you're on the mend, man. Truly sorry to hear you're suffering. All the best.
Ailen, I'm really glad to hear you're feeling better.
Hang tight, everyone. We're all pulling for you!

Any update on Atreides? Just wondering how he is recovering and hoping he is getting better.

As you might guess, we spend about half the day over at the hospital with him to keep him from going stir-crazy. There's the morning group and the evening group that goes over. We also take him his food.

We had a conference with the doctor today and the decision was made that he will stay in until Friday, at least. That way he'll have a couple extra days of IV antibiotics before they do the colonoscopy on Friday. He may be able to come home friday evening depending on how he feels after the anaesthesia. Or saturday.

So far, the dr. says that the case is "very interesting" and apologized to me for saying that since he knew I was emotionally involved. I told him it was okay, it's interesting to me, too, since I'm determined to solve it - or get it solved. Right now, we need the results from the colon thing, including biopsies from various areas, to have a few more clues. The doctor can't figure out how it happened with Atriedes on such a good diet. So, it is not just us that thinks it is really strange.
