The Russian Foreign Minister held a press conference after participating in the UN Security Council meeting.
The West's efforts to impose obstacles to the formation of a multipolar world can only slow down this process, but not for a long time, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
"All those claims about, as Borrell said, the 'garden' with which the West understands itself, surrounded by jungle, besides being racism and Nazism, reflect a philosophy that is harmful to all mankind, including the preachers of that philosophy," the Russian foreign minister told a press conference in New York during his visit to participate in a meeting of the UN Security Council.
The head of Russian diplomacy reiterated that the "multipolar world is objectively forming" and, although it is still unknown how it will be configured, he said he believed that "it is better to rely on the UN Charter, with the understanding that in order to reflect new trends and realities, the Security Council will have to be reformed. This would possibly end up being reminiscent of the G20 in its composition, but the profound lack of representation of Asian, African and Latin American countries must be eliminated".
Responding to a question from a correspondent, the minister noted that "the best way to convince the countries of the West that the multipolar world is already forming is not to impede that historic process."
"They are trying hard to prevent it: the sanctions against Russia are such as no one had ever seen or could have imagined, but for us it is a settled issue. We have every chance not to depend on this kind of behavior of Western partners, who have proven themselves untrustworthy," he said.
On several occasions, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, has compared Europe to "a garden" and the rest of the world to "the jungle". Thus, at the beginning of October 2022, the high diplomat urged to protect the European "garden" from the "jungle", even resorting to military tools for this purpose. He stressed that such instruments "are not a whim", but are "necessary, indispensable for survival".
For this rhetoric, Borrell has been labeled a "gardener" and described as racist and colonialist, even by the opposition within the European Union.
Good that Lavrov mentions it, but still no perspective could be observed of yet FED ‘directed’ russian ruble as a world accepted alternative. Only with ‘russian’ CBDC monetary officials are fussing.'Bye bye petrodollar': The de-dollarization process can't be stopped, and the future of the international currency financial system, including the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank is uncertain, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Another blow to the dollar: Argentina to pay in yuan for imports from China
The trend of de-dollarization in several regions of the world continues. Now it is the Argentine government that announces an agreement with Beijing that will allow it to pay for its imports from that Asian country in yuan.
Thus, the Latin American country will be able to pay in yuan imports from China for a value of US$ 1,040 million in April and US$ 790 million in May, as a result of the reactivation of a swap (currency exchange) with the Asian nation.
This was informed by Argentina's Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, in his social networks.
In this way, the South American nation will make use of this swap with China, which "works as an instrument to strengthen the reserves of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic", the official pointed out.
This release of payments improves the prospects in that organism, besides being "the guarantee to continue producing with intermediate goods imported from China, which no longer suffer the triangulation problem that in some cases we had detected", added Massa.
He also pointed out that the Argentine economy "faces the challenge of keeping its reserves working and strengthened, despite having to face the harsh reality that there are 15 billion dollars that are not going to enter" the country, due to the worst drought suffered by Argentina in 60 years.
This situation also forces to reconsider the current program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) "and to redefine the work strategy with exporters and importers", ratified Massa.
A delegation from the Ministry of Economy will travel this April 27 to Washington to renegotiate the agreement signed in March 2022 with the IMF, which refinances a credit of 44 billion dollars assumed by the previous administration of President Alberto Fernández.
Last week saw an interesting discussion around China playing a possible role in peacemaking between Israel and the Palestinians. The discussion illustrates China’s growing role in the Middle East.
After China helped broker a deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran, it appeared that Beijing could solve many problems by posing as an outsider with no real agendas or baggage.
China’s foreign minister indicated that Beijing could play a role in Israel-Palestinian peace talks, according to reports last week. He had separate calls with Israel and the Palestinians, The Guardian reported.
“The separate phone calls between the Chinese foreign minister, Qin Gang, and the Israeli and Palestinian top diplomats comes amid recent moves by Beijing to position itself as a regional mediator,” the report said.
According to an article at Al-Ain media in the UAE, for many years, “China maintained good relations with the Palestinians and the Israelis, but it did not present itself as a mediator to resolve the conflict between the two parties.”
China has now played a role bringing Saudi Arabia and Iran together, however, so why not tackle another area of tensions, the report said.
“Israel considers the United States to be the exclusive mediator in its conflict with the Palestinians, and has always rejected European, UN and Russian mediation,” it said.
It appears the Palestinians think the Chinese might play a positive role. This was raised by Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki last week. However, China is now perceived as a rival by the US, and Washington has been clear to Israel and other countries that they should be wary of China’s influence, especially as that might relate to sensitive technology.
This is at the heart of several controversies over the years, such as China investing in ports or communications. Because Israel has such close ties to the US and Israeli defense companies have many US partners, there is an increased spotlight on China’s role in the region. In fact, China’s growing influence in Israel appeared to peak a few years ago.
China is reaching out to the Palestinians. Beijing says it supports the PA, seeks to continue assisting the Palestinians and backs the two-state solution. The Chinese said they would welcome visits by Palestinian officials.
I have also been noting lately how Turkey has carried on its efforts in Syria, just today they announced that they had killed yet another head of ISIS. Knowing their origins, and with Syria's recent approach to the other powers in the region, it seems like the message that they're all sending collectively is simple: Yankee go home!.And now Russia is delivering nuclear fuel to Turkey
