Clif High- halfpasthuman.com

Cliff High has set off my BS detector years ago.

I don't get how scouring the web gives any real patterns that can be so specific as he puts it, especially with exact times.

Until it can be explained and know what exactly the pattern recognition is, we have no idea if the experimenters (programmers) are influencing the results by "tweaking" what they consider a hit. It's pretty much a "black box" to us, no information as to what is deemed good information to add to the pile and what to discard.

I think the idea he's selling of tapping into some group consciousness is akin to the free energy "black boxes" (no real objective test results- energy in < energy out). As usual, when simple questions are asked - the person is lumped into the skeptic column, or how it has to be secret because then some corporation or government will buy it out/shut it down.

True.

At this point, he's embarrassed himself so many times and made so many excuses for his non-hits that he ought to just give it up I think.

Perhaps if he had started a project where his web bot collected data, he published it raw, and had open discussions about it, some headway might have been made. But he was all about selling it from the beginning. Plus, bringing in remote viewers is just muddying the waters.

I think we do a lot better assessing situations and getting a handle on what is possible and probable here just using the data we collect on SOTT and rational discussion.

At this point, it just looks like Clif has a lame horse that he keeps trying to run but just can't get out of the starting gate.

In his last "woo" he said he was leaving the window for the Pacific NW quake open through today. If it occurs, then it becomes a very strong marker for his GCE (and GCE window extending to June 1). I think this is all going to pass uneventfully, and he will go on to something else. He mentioned that he has several offers for new projects.

Such an open source methodology would make the entire project far more useful, rigorous, and scientific. I've been frustrated for some time by his refusal to do this.

That's my feeling too. DCM isn't overly fond of anticipation ... predictions with dates attached tend to pass by without anything happening.

Well, after learning about the amount of information shared and stored on a so called "deep web", unless Clif High was searching it as well, his attempts at analyzing web data and predicting events based on this data are akin to trying to analyze historical events based on a play. Sure, a theatrical production can have a pretty accurate atmosphere and setting, but it's still a show, and there is much more going on behind the scenes.

Well, the weekend came and went with no massive earthquake in the Pacific Northwest. So much for that ... and I feel a bit ridiculous.

He suckered me in with his prediction of financial collapse in November 2010. It was supposed to happen on a certain day and I was all ready, thinking how smarty-smart I was because I knew about the financial crash ahead of time and most other people didn't have a clue. Well, the day came...and nothing happened. "Well, it was supposed to be in a range, so maybe it'll come tomorrow", I thought--nothing. The date range passed and approximately nothing happened, but then Clif came out saying "well, TPTB definitely lost some energy over this period of time and they lost so much that I'm going to start calling them TPTW (the powers that were), but it was all in hidden areas that aren't visible to the public at all" or something like that--really? To showcase my stupidity at the time, I bought that nonsense excuse as well and continued to listen to his predictions as though they had any bearing on what would actually happen. His "confirmations" are entirely subjective--I recall him "confirming" his predictions with things that barely resembled (if they did at all) what he said was going to happen, and which then didn't go anywhere in the long run (even though they were supposed to, according to his predictions).

There may very well be something to his method, but his results seem pretty clear to me: doesn't have a clue.

I think what needs, always, to be kept in mind regarding his predictions, is that they are an attempt to figure out what a '4 or 5 dimensional object' looks like by seeing it's 2 dimensional shadow, although that analogy has severe limitations. The forecasts are for language to appear, and in that respect he does have a pretty amazing track record, although his interpretations of the raw data as to what/when an 'event' will yeild those words have been not so great. Starting a couple of years ago, I have basically put the 'event predictions' he makes in the interesting but somewhat useless pile, while the language forecasts I take somewhat more seriously. I do agree with what has been said about his lack of networking, or baby/bathwater regarding channeled material, and his refusal to appraise any info sent him about Jay Wiedner. Oh well. At the very least I think there is entertainment value to his work.

Webbot buddies might find this article an interesting, if not 'fun' read, as it includes a little of everything as he tries to understand Cliff's 'miss', which even Cliff seems to be doing. I found the Schumann Resonance bit interesting in regards to the C's statements on the wave effects on the human mind/body... as well as perhaps how Kantek 'blew up' etc... This covers time issues, and the various sources of 'forecasting' that include the 'many worlds' or information fields theory... nice compilation with conjecture and whatnot to round off the author's personal investigation into why Cliff's forecast didn't pan out... YET, though it's interesting how so many sources are spiralling around the same date... increasingly so, or they are all reading/listening to each other and like the SR effect on the mind, they are getting 'feedback', and who knows, perhaps it's part of the process. Here's the bit on SR that relates. www.transients.info/2014/04/the-stretching-of-time-and-imminent.html#more

Schumann Resonance & Human Brainwaves

When Schumann first published his research the similarity of the 7.8-hertz earth resonance and the rhythms of human brainwaves was quickly realized.

Herbert König, who became Schumann’s successor at Munich University, later demonstrated a correlation between Schumann Resonances and brain rhythms. The results showed that variations in the Schumann Resonance correlate with human EEG rhythms and make any absorption of the Schuman Resonances signal into the brains a action that is detected by corresponding sensory organs. Studies have shown that solar or geomagnetic activity alters the human Melatonin level and that the resonances directly relate to human and animal health and wellness.

Historical events like war, social unrest, military events and acts of terrorism can be correlated with the solar cycles based upon the impact these cycles have on the Schumann resonances.

“Solar-Geomagnetic Activity induced changes in the Schumann Resonance signal intensity alters the Melatonin levels. Because of Melatonin’s vital role in the daily rhythm, all major organs have Melatonin receptors.

Therefore a factor that alters human Melatonin secretion can influence almost every vital organ, especially the brain, heart, central nervous system and reproductive system. Melatonin is also the body’s most potent antioxidant. Hence reduced Melatonin leads to more oxidative free radical cellular damage, leading to cancer and premature aging through enhanced apoptosis (programmed cell death). In neurological activity, altered Melatonin is related to depression and suicide and increased circulatory stress leading to strokes (cerebrovascular mortality).”- Dr. Neil Cherrys paper ‘Schumann Resonance and Sunspot Relations to Human Health Effects in Thailand’ from 2002

As you can see, the solar activity seems to play a major part into what goes on here on Earth, as it impacts the Schumann Resonance which seems to be directly related, from a scientific perspective, to the time and vibrational changes occurring on Earth as well as how we act around decision making, and our health in general.[...]

By the end, it seems they all just know or rather feel that the 'moment' is nearly here.... Oooo. ;)

I hear you on that, I made the same mistake back in fall of 2008 when him and George Ure were going on and on about some horrific event happening in mid-October of that year. They really made it seem like there was going to be some kind of "world-changing event" on par with 9/11 and of course it was all for naught. They covered it up by implying some kind of reaction to the financial crash but it seemed to just an attempt to cover their behinds. I ended up making a fool of myself to some snarky nerd who gets off trolling "conspiracists" at my work.

I stopped paying attention to both shortly thereafter, occasionally checking halfpasthuman every now and then but never taking it too seriously. For one thing the website, the writing and general format are all ugly as sin and don't inspire confidence. That and George Ure apparently has joined the Putin-bashing bandwagon as well when he ought to know better. In either case, they're both part of the growing number of internet celebrities peddling "predictions" and assorted variations of fear-porn, all adding noise and very little signal to the mix.

I did hear one of Cliff's podcasts not too long ago where he talked about circumcision, how whatever being instructed Jews to do the practice had an intimate knowledge of human physiology, far greater than humans could have known at the time, and how the foreskin has a very important role in creating bonds between males and their mates. With the foreskin removed they no longer feel compelled to bond with their mates, raise children and families and thus it has a decidedly negative impact on human society. Interesting stuff, I believe others like Henry Makow may have touched upon a similar theme. Sadly I can't find the youtube video with the podcast on it.

Clif is putting a novel out on his site in installments
( i think it will all be FREE )

but title is interesting and first chapter is there ...

In Clif's latest 'wujo' report, (that's what he calls them), if you go to the 22.00 minute mark, his linguistic research is picking up a massive earthquake, or earthquakes around 2016/2017 that not only effect the west coast of the US but also the New Madrid fault line. It is interesting in that this is the first time to my knowledge, Cliff has said anything relating to Mt. Rainer. Which, of course, is a Cassiopaean prediction of eruption and probable tsunami. Don't follow his every word and in fact disagree with some of his "life analysis", but he is original and worthy of some attention-specifically his webbot material.

I've always appreciated his web bot predictions. I think of these readings as wild card in the sense that it feels neglectful to ignore the potential.

After a while of hearing the web bot predictions, I have been disappointed.

In hearing the vague basics of how it works, I can see why it is not very accurate nor consistent.

I'm weary of his specificity with some predictions as other members have mentioned above.

Maybe it's just me, but my BS meter goes off on this.

I agree, about as accurate as a bowl of beans.

(Not that you can't get anything from a bowl of beans though)
