Also available in paperback format:

This is weird. My partner ordered paperback format on February 5th and didn't want to tell me to spoil surprise and she wondered how that was possible because a day after there was no paperback available. She wondered how is it possible to order something that was not yet published.

Anyway

Just letting you know you (seemingly) posted your name and address on a public forum. I don't think people generally do that, but it's up to you. Maybe others will chime in.

As for the ordering, you can pre-order books and other items on Amazon. So that could be how you ordered it early.

Very good news which Laura's work continues. But I have to wait for the French translation, my English is really too too bad :(

I think that you have a very good opportunity to improve your English before this book is available in French.

Since in any discipline, on any subject the most and the newest informations we can find is in english. Delay in learning English is not advisable. If you want to get success in any field, you should learn english. For everyone non-english speaker the duty should be learn english at least at the level that allows you to read in this language.

The book is written in a very clear way. I recommend the book to everyone, and particularly to non native english speaker.

Sure, but i prefer to wait for a translated version, put yourself in my position, you speak english and you want a book that is currently only in french. will you buy it and say "Well, it's time to learn french" or are you going to wait for a translated version for a better understanding, well it's you're choice, but for me the second option is more suitable.

Mod's note: Edited to fix the quotation boxes.

As a matter of fact, I was in your position many years ago since my native language is French and the books that I wanted to read were only in English. So, I bought a good dictionary and I started to read the books that I wanted to read.

And after a couple of years and books, I could easily read English books without using my dictionary on every page.

And I am sure that it is the same thing for some other members of this forum.

Same here. I learned English in school when I was a student, but it did not help me to improve it as much as Laura's books and this forum. When I read the wave series for the first time, I only understood very few of the contents, but there was a moment that I thought "wow" from reading it just because I knew that I was reading something quite amazing. I still have difficult time understanding lot of things in English but I am used to read enough English books that it does not feel unnatural/uncomfortable anymore. The result will come if you keep doing what interests you osit.

I just ordered a paperback "Comets and The Horns of Moses". :)

It was my situation also. The French books were so expensive... I was working in a library and suddenly I had all these fantastic books in English and me incapable to read them. So like Gandalf I took a dictionary in English and started to read. It was difficult at the beginning but it was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. Suddenly I was able to read my favorite authors in the original language and books in English are less expensive. And now I agree also with the member who said that it is extremely important to read in English to be well informed. In this world if you want good information your duty is to read in English, you like it or not. So the best thing to do is to start NOW. :D with your favorite author, Laura.

Very cool and on such an auspicious date, too. Good work folks! :cool2:

Just tried Amazon (ca) and not listed there yet.
