Perhaps THOM as referenced to, i.e. WRT TSHOTW is Volume II
on the other hand if referenced to itself (THOM) it is Volume I?

Yes.

Then there is the special signed & color version of THOM available (only?) on Red Pill Press...

So what to do?

If I want the signed & color THOM book, just wait for this one to appear on RPP?

Yes.

Exciting news! My first read-through was a whirlwind of absorption - but the greek part I can tell will require a few more read-throughs the let it all sink in

Thanks for Laura and the Chateau Crew for making this publication possible, and timely even more so!

Quick question, is there a like page on FB for Comets and the Horns of Moses? I saw one for "Horns of Moses," but it didn't look really legitimate at all... plus it had zero likes so far. I've seen good responses on FB to the dirth of meteorite hits and how there are larger implications we'll be facing in the near future, and I thought maybe directing people to horns for further reading could be conducive to learning. :)

Just finished this book a moment ago and wrote a review on Amazon. Full five stars, without a question! Waiting eagerly for the next part. :)

I managed to buy The Secret History of the World and High Strangeness from amazon by sending it to a friend in Canada and then he sent the package to me, along with some other Violin stuff that I bought given the occasion...
and of course
I already have my copies of SHotW and HS
I see.. sorry :-[ .. I must take more time for reading and understanding English... still a lesson.. one more

Comets and the Horns of Moses is now available in paperback on Amazon.ca

Mine came in the mail today!

Does it have the dedication and acknowledgements page?

Hi, I ordered my copy in amazon.es on 14/02 and I've received it yesterday, 19/02.

The book came with the dedication and acknowledgements page, fwiw.

Greetings.

P.s. I am looking forward to reading it... when I have a bit of "time" :)

P.p.s. It looks awesome !

Weird ! It is not available for me

This title is not available for your country.

Weird. I go directly to Amazon.ca, type "comets and the horns of moses" into the search field, first specifying that it searches "in books" and it returns 2 results - the kindle version and the paperback. I just tried it again and they're both there.

EDIT: Just noticed that it says it's temporarily out of stock. Maybe I got the last one :(

Don't know how they can be temporarily out of stock since it is amazon itself that is doing the printing.

My thoughts are that it depends on what stock is distributed to each storage location for onward distribution.

I was thinking about this as well and looked for it but couldn't find a page for it. Now there's a 'Comets and the Horns of Moses' page without any further information - or even a cover - except this:

It has 0 likes so far. Should we 'like' this one or wait for another page to be created or can we create a new page for it ourselves is what I'm thinking about currently.

We just got our hardcopy two days ago, the B&W version but still it looks great! :)

I don't know either, but I got an email from Amazon.ca this morning saying they don't actually have the book and will send it once it's available. Sounds like they put the page up prematurely. Or perhaps they wait for a minimum number of orders before they do a print run.

Sheesh, talk about getting a guys hopes up

I just finished reading it, and I have to say it was absolutely spectacular! Fantastic weaving together of so many threads into a cohesive whole. Thanks for putting in all this effort to get it out!

One of my first thoughts after finishing it was whether there were any mythological or historical clues in the South East Asian part of the world, similar to how more western mythology corresponds to cometary imagery. I did a quick Googling on the most obvious one I could think of, the Malaysian Keris dagger, and it seems indeed as though that national symbol is entirely comet-related, in legend and construction. From my travels in Malaysia, and in particular Borneo, there seems to be many local legends that can be correlated with comet strikes, in terms of imagery.

Laura, have you looked into the SE Asian aspect of this stuff as well, and will it be included in the following volumes? Or is that still an unexplored part of this topic?

Cool, just ordered one. I like having the regular copy as a "beater" that I can take with me and stuff into bags not worrying about messing it up, and then having a nicer version to read at home. Plus I'm a sucker for signed copies!
