‘We are making decisions on the best available evidence and advice that will allow us to keep moving forward rather than risking giving back everything that we have done.’

Mr Andrews reassured residents strict restrictions would not remain in place for the long term and would be eased considerably by November.

‘We will not have these sorts of restrictions well into November.

Oh well that's okay then! You've always told us the truth afterall! It's only nine months after "just a few weeks to flatten the curve", so of course I believe you!

And yet so many people remain so brainwashed and deluded that they actually DO still believe the lies spewing forth from this megalomaniac's face hole. I know a lot of people will actually be surprised by this easily predicted turn of events. They actually believed we would be out of lockdown next Sunday. Boggles the mind.

I'm sure they'll blame the decision on "selfish" beach goers. Because of course all of this is our fault and not due to the increasing insanity of our Supreme Leader.

Beachgoers packed on Melbourne beach slammed as selfish Do watch the video. Happy people enjoying the sun. It made me smile. Good on them!

FTR #1155 Bio-Psy-Op Apocalypse, Now Part 15: Covid-19 Updates, Part 4
60 minutes Dave Emory October 9, 2020 / Spitfire List
A key factor spurring our suspicion concerning genetic-engineering of one or more variant of the Covid-19 virus concerns a 2015 Gain-of-Function experiment performed by Ralph Baric, employed in a joint U.S./Chinese experiment partly financed by USAID (a front for CIA activity in the past) and NIH (used by both CIA and the Pentagon in the past). In that project, Baric: ” . . . . published a study on his team’s efforts to engineer a virus with the surface protein of the SHC014 coronavirus, found in horseshoe bats in China, and the backbone of one that causes human-like severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in mice. The hybrid virus could infect human airway cells and caused disease in mice. . . . The results demonstrate the ability of the SHC014 surface protein to bind and infect human cells, validating concerns that this virus—or other coronaviruses found in bat species—may be capable of making the leap to people without first evolving in an intermediate host . . .”
Of more than passing interest is the disclosure that the project on bat-borne coronaviruses conducted in the Wuhan laboratory was a joint U.S./Chinese project, and that Ralph Baric was a key American partner in the project.

And from a PM from Fairfax California
Oct 10 2020...Even %^*# notices just how quiet everything is now. No cars going to work or shopping, no walkers, no bicycles en route to good health. Even the fire department is silent with the firemen place urgently elsewhere.

It’s both scary and terrifying to live right now. The news is never ever good and the future grows dimmer every day. ... We are in the throes of realization here. People just have had such denial...over absolutely everything. Now, not so much.
One lady (an elder like myself) whispered through her mask that perhaps we are living in a “simulation “. Next she will wonder who initiated this.....

It’s suddenly turned cold. Back to arm warmers, scarfs, hats, blankets for the sofas. A relief absolutely from the enormous heat we’ve been having...still. Long days with no purpose, no expectations, only worsening news.

Cooking is at least something...but then #$@* and I don’t eat enough to warrant creativity in the kitchen.

This was the best and most powerful discussion on masks that I've seen so far. Two work environment experts talk with Del Bigtree about the dangers of mask wearing and their inefficiency, amongst other interesting things. I hope this goes viral, if it already hasn't !

WHO (Accidentally) Confirms Covid is No More Dangerous Than Flu

Head of Health Emergencies Program “best estimates” put IFR at 0.14%

At the session, Dr Michael Ryan, the WHO’s Head of Emergencies revealed that they believe roughly 10% of the world has been infected with Sars-Cov-2. This is their “best estimate”, and a huge increase over the number of officially recognised cases (around 35 million).
As much as the WHO were attempting to spin this as a bad thing – Dr Ryan even said it means “the vast majority of the world remains at risk.” – it’s actually good news. And confirms, once more, that the virus is nothing like as deadly as everyone predicted.

The global population is roughly 7.8 billion people, if 10% have been infected that is 780 million cases. The global death toll currently attributed to Sars-Cov-2 infections is 1,061,539.

That’s an infection fatality rate of roughly or 0.14%. Right in line with seasonal flu and the predictions of many experts from all around the world.

Maybe I should share a FB I made in case anyone finds it useful/interesting way to phrase things. As usual, it could have been done better.

It so happened on social media that I questioned that we have just had a pandemic. Maybe I was a bit abrupt, and a bit snarky, so my bad on that, but I wrote: “Very few actually getting sick though. Worst pandemic ever.”

Two 100% predictable comebacks appeared soon after:

Guy #1) Tell that to the families of the 3000 dead.
Guy #2) Tell that to the thousands who have gotten sick and died, above and beyond what we normally see in a flu season, and concentrated down to a few months rather than the entire year. You really are stupid, huh?

My reply:

Well, yes guys, I certainly can discuss this with those families, and I believe that they would all agree with me: there is NO pandemic.

Now of course, I understand that a death by COVID-19 complications (or by influenza or by car accident or by medical mistakes etc) is TRAGIC for the families, to be sure. However, a real pandemic causes significant number of deaths that literally affects every family, multiple times over. One can read up on the Spanish Flu to get an idea of a real pandemic.

I have observed that even the statistics do not appear to point to a death rate particularly worse than a bad flu season. Especially when you know that the CDC admits only about 6% of the deaths due to COVID-19 are those that had nothing more than that disease itself. Excess deaths due to all causes so far do not appear to be any worse in 2020 than other years even though the year is not quite over yet, of course. It does not LOOK like a pandemic has actually happened at all.

The fact that any two people can even have an argument whether the true COVID-19 death rate is somewhat less or somewhat more than some influenza outbreaks of the past, could truly be a sign that this cannot be a real pandemic. Seriously.

My assertion is just that based on the real world evidence, (not the sketchy, emotionally charged and unsubstantiated claims of the media) it is very clear that there is no need for governments to interfere and cause widespread misery and deaths with their restrictions, and every day it continues, with continual changes and contradictions, it seems clear the interference is causing more harm than COVID-19 by itself ever could. The fact that so many folks can see this upside-down situation is another sign it is not a real pandemic. In a real pandemic the loss of life and the suffering in crowded hospitals would be so bad, there would not be much time for evaluating the hardship of the restrictions, and probably would be evaluated later on when it has passed.

As hospitalizations and deaths have decreased remarkably since March, and the virus seems to have lost its virulence, it is NOT a sign of a real pandemic if we need to artificially continually frighten everyone into thinking there is some “second wave” by publishing “case” numbers based on increased taking of PCR tests where very probably, 90% of the positives found are because the test itself amplifies virus fragments (which may or may not even be a strain of this SARS-CoV-2) which cannot make anyone sick, nor can they ever spread anything to anyone.

Something around a 99.9+% recovery rate means that obviously this is something that humanity normally puts up with: some people’s immune systems, especially if they have comorbidities or are very old, do not do well with some viruses, may die, and it is TRAGIC for their family – but it is still not a pandemic. The pandemic only exists in the minds of frightened people and corrupt authorities.

From my observations, along with nearly every one of my friends and family, most ordinary citizens, some are doctors in hospitals, spread all over the world in many countries, including even the 3 or 4 who have been sick and recovered from it, once they got over the frightening headlines of last March, have all seen with their own eyes that this is just a health matter best handled by the patient-doctor relationship, as we have always done with other viruses. They do not observe a real pandemic.

Even the fear of overrun hospitals, and the need to social distance in order to “flatten the curve”, which may have seemed like a reasonable proposition last March (and was promised to last for only a few weeks?) turns out to not have been much of an issue anywhere except for a few hotspots, which may have even have had poor preparation and funding prior to the outbreak (each place has its own context of course), for only a short time. Such things are hardly a sign of a real pandemic.

When temporary hospitals have been set up, and later taken down, without ever seeing a patient: this does not sound like a pandemic has occurred.

Many experienced and trained health professionals who have not been frightened into silence are trying to tell us this is no pandemic are being actively suppressed and marginalized. This would not be done if it were a real pandemic.

ALL predictions before the lock-downs began of the number of mass deaths by “experts” the authorities chose to listen to (by what criteria do they choose them? Money? Corruption? Conflicts of interests? Extortion? Who knows?) all turned out to be terribly wrong based on their unverifiable computer models. Further, the places that did not lock-down, did not even come close to having the number of deaths predicted for them. It looks like the pandemic has only ever existed in the imaginations of these faulty predictors, whom the media has conveniently forgotten about.

So… hey, I am not the enemy here, sharing my observations that should just serve to encourage people to examine these things further for themselves, and also figure out for themselves what might be really going on in 2020.

It could lead to more transparent and less heavy handed authorities if everyone demanded it of them. This can only bring good results for the health and freedom of ordinary people – but I suppose corrupt authorities and those who desperately want to remain as naïve children trusting blindly in authorities might despise people like me, and some also want to then scorn, mock, shame, and emotionally manipulate us for our efforts. I daresay 2020 has been fascinating year so far!

Where will these camps be built?
How many people will be detained?
And for what reason will they be detained?

An update on what's happening over here on the island of Ireland.
Some Shops are starting to refuse entry if not wearing a muzzle and security are escorting people from the shop. Talk of fines coming in by end of month if your caught travelling outside your county for non essential reasons. At the moment the gardai have no powers they just advise you not to leave the county. Lots of permanent checkpoints on main routes in and out of Dublin. I've had no issues yet travelling out side the county. Haven't gone into level 5 yet still on level 3 with some adjustments. Possibly be in level 5 by end of the month once fines are in place.
Also talk of using hotels for quarintine purposes. Things are gonna get intense over the next few months.

Antifa starting trouble at the anti lockdown protests. Media blames the protestors calling them far right extremists, same old story as it is elsewhere.

Still keeping it lit.😎

Commentary by John Kaminski - a bit long but notable points - calls out the Tribe:

Now or never

We are so far off course it’s just unbelievable. The grandest of all beings in the universe, so far as we know, being locked into our homes over a disease they can’t even prove actually exists. How far have humans devolved into an induced stupor of needing to believe what the crowd believes lest we be shunned as . . . well, go ahead and describe yourself then.

I watched the Jensen show today (show by a former Dutch TV presentator who started his own show online a while ago) and I thought I'd share the following:

- He received an email from one of his viewers, a parent, who said that his 13-year-old son and a couple of other fellow classmates chose not to wear the face mask and received some disturbing comments from the teacher in class. The teacher told them that they are being selfish, because now she can't visit her mother anymore. Then she gave compliments to the children who are wearing the masks in class. The parent rightly wrote to Jensen that this kind of indoctrination is a type of abuse. He wrote that as soon as his son told him this, he called his son's mentor. Afterwards he received a text message by the mentor: "I talked about this with the teacher in question. It won't happen again." He responded: "If this does happen again, I will consider going higher up. This is not an acceptable way to deal with your students." I'm glad the mentor took him seriously and took action.

- Jensen also showed a clip made by a German parent and the parent showed a booklet that her child received from school. In it you could see a page that said "Gesund bleiben!" (Stay healthy) and on the top left it says "richtig" (correct/right behavior) with three drawings underneath which depict loneliness, distancing from each other, and washing hands. On the top right it says "falsch" (bad behavior) with three drawings underneat depicting two children playing with each other, two children standing close to each other (I think one child is kissing the other on the cheek), and three singing children. You can see the pictures here, it starts from 29:50. I don't know what to say, but it's getting crazier and crazier.

Added: In other news: A recent retrospective study on hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) showed that "Early treatment with HCQ on the first day of admission is associated with a reduced risk of 53% in transfer to the ICU for mechanical ventilation". The study was conducted in the Netherlands, and some people are suggesting RCTs next. Not a good look for Dutch Deputy PM who called HCQ treatment "quackery".

WHO Flip-Flops: Urges World Leaders To Stop Using Lockdowns To Fight COVID Contagion
by Tyler Durden
Sun, 10/11/2020 - 12:00

In a stunning rebuke of the "science" and the "doctors" and leftist politicians and career bureaucrats in the US and across much of The West, The Epoch Times' Evan Pentchoukov reports that The World Health Organization’s special envoy on COVID-19 has urged world leaders to stop using lockdowns as the primary control method against the spread of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus, commonly known as the novel coronavirus.

“We in the World Health Organization do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” David Nabarro told The Spectator in an interview aired on Oct. 8.

“The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganize, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted, but by and large, we’d rather not do it.”

[ZH: How long before this video is removed by Twitter?]

Nabarro pointed to the collateral damage that lockdowns are having worldwide, especially among poorer populations.

“Just look at what’s happened to the tourism industry, for example in the Caribbean or in the Pacific, because people aren’t taking their holidays. Look what’s happened to smallholder farmers all over the world because their markets have got dented. Look what’s happening to poverty levels. It seems that we may well have a doubling of world poverty by next year. Seems that we may well have at least a doubling of child malnutrition because children are not getting meals at school and their parents, in poor families, are not able to afford it,” Nabarro said.

“This is a terrible, ghastly global catastrophe actually,” he added. “And so we really do appeal to all world leaders: Stop using lockdown as your primary control method, develop better systems for doing it, work together and learn from each other, but remember - lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer."

Nabarro isn’t the only scientist opposing lockdowns.

A number of medical or public health scientists and medical practitioners have signed the Great Barrington Declaration, which states that “current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health.”

The signatories include: “Dr. Martin Kulldorff, professor of medicine at Harvard University and a biostatistician, and epidemiologist with expertise in detecting and monitoring of infectious disease outbreaks and vaccine safety evaluations, Dr. Sunetra Gupta, professor at Oxford University, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, vaccine development, and mathematical modeling of infectious diseases, and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, professor at Stanford University Medical School, a physician, epidemiologist, health economist, and public health policy expert focusing on infectious diseases and vulnerable populations.”

“The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk,” the declaration states.

With few exceptions, world leaders followed in the footsteps of the Chinese communist regime when responding to the outbreak of the virus, imposing unprecedented lockdowns. Sweden, which did not impose a lockdown, did not experience an adverse outcome compared to some locales and nations that did.

In the United States, President Donald Trump delegated the decisions on lockdown measures to the governors of individual states, but has pushed for the economy to be reopened, and lockdowns lifted.

As William Anderson recently wrote for The Mises Institute, lockdowns only serve the progressive political class...

We have to understand that the political classes and their media have a vested interest in the lockdown status quo, and that includes regular provision of what only can be called disinformation. The mainstream media this past summer dutifully reported a highly questionable (I use that term charitably) report that the Sturgis Bike Rally in South Dakota led to more than a quarter million covid infections and more than $12 billion of medical costs. It should have been obvious on its face that the report was deeply flawed, yet in their desire to fuel the covid-is-killing-us narrative, journalists took this too-good-to-be-true story and ran with it.

As for politicians, the covid crisis has been a godsend for those governmental executives and bureaucrats who see constitutional restrictions that limit their authority as mere obstacles to be easily swept away. Governors such as Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, Andrew Cuomo of New York, Gavin Newsom of California, and Tom Wolfe of Pennsylvania have received adoring coverage in the media for seizing and employing dictatorial powers, Whitmer even unilaterally deciding that the sale of garden seeds in stores was illegal. Cuomo’s decision to force the housing of covid-19 patients in nursing homes led to the deaths of thousands of people, yet his national media coverage is uniformly positive.

Contrast the affirmative news coverage of Cuomo with the barrage of media attacks on Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota. Noem has emphasized personal responsibility and did not attempt mass closures of schools and businesses in the state, and the mainstream media erupted with fury. That South Dakota has come through this pandemic relatively well does not matter with the media, as the only acceptable action (to mainstream and elite journalists) in response to covid is for governors to single-handedly seize power and lock down their citizens.

Keep in mind that the real losses that Americans suffered because of the heavy-handed governmental response to the covid outbreak are permanent. As Robert Higgs so eloquently pointed out in Crisis and Leviathan, governments often create crises or, at the very least, they manipulate events such as natural disasters and use them as opportunities to expand governmental powers. Even after the crises end, governments keep some of their newly self-granted powers—and most people raise little or no concern even when government has curtailed more of their freedoms.

Presumably, this means Joe Biden will now be pushing for lockdowns to be lifted across all blue states?... because he is "listening to the scientists"?

We wonder how long it will be before WHO also urges the end of mask-wearing?

In the end, as Anderson concluded, the only way that the political classes can “make us safe” is for us to do what is necessary to make ourselves safe, or as relatively safe as possible. When a virus is afoot—as is the case most of the time—we do what we can to avoid it and do what we can to treat it. In other words, we appeal to real medical science, not what the political and media classes have cooked up for us.

Such a big state, Florida, with no penalties for not wearing a mask and businesses reopened. Doesn't seem like a bad place to move to.

Here is some proof that Dutch police are patrolling the streets to see if they can get restaurant owners in trouble. The time-stamp of the following fine was issued THREE MINUTES past ten (10.03 p.m.), three minutes after mandatory closing time.

According to the wife of the owner (a well-known actress in the Netherlands) they had locked the doors, so nobody was able to get in, but the lights were still on, as the staff were still sitting at a table after work. The police woman who became rather obnoxious and authoritarian told her to switch off the lights and go home. I could be wrong, but it looks as if things are getting even worse than before.

I haven't posted an update in ages so I will post a quick one.

The governor of my state recently announced that the state will remain in "Phase 3 Lockdown" until a vaccine is approved which means we're all supposed to keep wearing face masks and distancing and gathering sizes are still restricted. As far as I know these state level executive orders have not been challenged in the courts yet as they are starting to be in other states, so for now most people seem to be following them. Personally I continue to "go along to get along" for the most part.

My clinic is open and quite busy. It is outside of the city in a fairly rural area and I think the majority of my patients doubt the official COVID narrative and many are Trump supporters. I live in a "blue" state, so I find that pretty interesting. I'm not looking forward to the election, I'm concerned that a Trump victory could cause some serious social unrest here, but it will be interesting to see what happens so I'm stocked up on popcorn and trying not to worry.
