It has been 465 days without an earthquake of Magnitude 8.0 or greater. The last one of M8.2 occurred on July 29, 2021 in Alaska.

M8.2 Chignik Earthquake (U.S., Alaska offshore, Aleutian Islands) on July 29, 2021

The biggest earthquake in 2021, and the biggest earthquake globally since the 2018 Fiji earthquake – Chignik Earthquake - occurred on July 29, 2021, at 10:15 p. m. local time off the coast of the Alaska Peninsula, on the Aleutian Islands. With a magnitude of 8.2, it got recorded as the 7th largest earthquake in U.S. history. It had a depth of 43 km.

The earthquake occurred on the Aleutian subduction zone – a 2,500-mile-long convergent plate boundary where the Pacific Plate subducts under the North American Plate at a rate of 6–7 cm/yr. This fault area is often the source of many strong earthquakes and is one of the most active in the world.

The mainshock was followed by several aftershocks, including three that were of magnitude 5.9, 6.1, and 6.9 respectively.

The most powerful U.S. earthquake in half a century left Alaska mostly unscathed, with no major damage or injury reported, thanks to the remote location and depth of the epicenter.

Russia was shaken near Shikotan, Sakhalin Oblast, (pop. 2,100) by an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 The quake hit at a shallow depth of 20 km early afternoon on Sunday, November 6th, 2022, at 2:23 pm local time

Moderate mag. 4.8 earthquake - North Atlantic Ocean, Portugal.

A moderate magnitude 4.8 earthquake offshore Portugal at 229 km (143 mi) WSW of Sagres (pop: 1,940) hit in the morning on Monday, November 7th, 2022, at 03:32 am local time at a depth of 32 km. it occurred at a fault that produced a M 9.0 in 1755

Great Lisbon Earthquake: What Happened at the 1755 Lisbon Earthquake

On the morning of November 1st, 1755 at 9:40, the Great Lisbon earthquake hit Portugal, as well as other parts of the Iberian Peninsula and Northwest Africa with its epicenter offshore. Seismologists estimate the Lisbon earthquake had a magnitude of 8.5 to 9, making it the largest known earthquake to impact Europe and northern Africa.

Reports state that the earthquake lasted anywhere from three to six minutes and that it caused fissures 5 meters wide in the center of Lisbon. 40 minutes after the Lisbon earthquake, a 6-meter-high tsunami occurred in the harbor and downtown area, causing many to drown. The force of the tsunami knocked over candlelit homes and churches, leading to large fires that burned for hours all over the city and asphyxiated thousands.

The natural disaster resulted in the almost complete destruction of the city of Lisbon and nearby areas, even places in the Algarve and Madeira. Due to the tsunami, almost all coastal towns in the Algarve were damaged, except Faro which was protected by the banks of the Rio Formosa. In the Azores archipelago, almost all ports were destroyed by the tsunami as the sea reach 150 meters inland. The rest of Europe also felt the earthquake, such as Finland, as well as North Africa. It was later discovered in 2015 that there were reports of damage caused by gigantic waves off the coast of Brazil.

The Lisbon earthquake killed between 30,000 and 60,000 people, making it one of the deadliest earthquakes in history. The city of Lisbon’s population at the time was around 200,000. It has been reported that 70% of buildings in Lisbon were destroyed, including iconic buildings such as palaces and libraries of 16th-century Manueline architecture. This included the Royal Ribeira Palace which had over 70,00 books and artworks, the Palace of Henrique de Meneses, the Lisbon Cathedral, and much more. The royal family was able to escape without being harmed, with King Joseph I of Portugal actually having left the city after attending mass at sunrise to spend a holiday away.

According to Aljazeera, it was 6.6 and "Local media reported that tremors were felt in India’s capital, New Delhi, located 400km (250 miles) west of the epicentre.":

Six dead after earthquake hits Nepal, tremors felt in New Delhi

A magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck in western Nepal at about 2am local time (20:15 GMT) causing several houses to collapse.

Published On 9 Nov 20229 Nov 2022

A magnitude 6.6 earthquake has struck Nepal, killing at least six people, injuring several others, and destroying multiple houses in the northwestern district of Doti, officials said.

The earthquake, which hit at about 2am local time on Wednesday (20:15 GMT), sent tremors into northern India.

Bhola Bhatta, deputy superintendent of police in Doti, said that four children were among the fatalities that occurred when eight houses collapsed after the earthquake struck the mountainous western region.

The police chief confirmed earlier information provided by home ministry official Tulsi Rijal.

The deceased included an 8-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, two 14-year-old girls, a 40-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man, Bhatta said, according to The Kathmandu Post news outlet.

A ground rescue team has been rushed to the site, and two helicopters were on standby in nearby Surkhet and Nepalgunj towns, a spokesperson for the Nepali army, Brigadier-General Narayan Silwal, said.

The earthquake was centred approximately 160km (100 miles) northeast of Pilibhit, a populous city in the neighbouring Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, and occurred at a depth of 10km, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

The EMSC recorded the earthquake at a magnitude of 5.6, the US Geological Survey also gave a preliminary rating of 5.6, and Nepal’s seismological centre set the earthquake at a magnitude of 6.6.

Western Nepal had been jolted by a magnitude 4.8 earthquake at a depth of 10km hours earlier, at about 9pm (15:15 GMT) local time.

A resident of Gorakhpur city in India’s Uttar Pradesh — more than 350km from the epicentre — wrote on the EMSC’s website that they had felt the tremors.

“The building was shaking. I’m on the 9th floor,” they wrote.

Local media reported that tremors were felt in India’s capital, New Delhi, located 400km (250 miles) west of the epicentre.

Nepal is still rebuilding after two major earthquakes in 2015 killed almost 9,000 people, destroyed whole towns, including centuries-old temples and more than 824,000 homes, and caused an estimated $6bn in economic damage.

I couldn't sleep so I went up, turned on, and got an alert from that Italian earthquake. (I set the app to notify me if one goes above 4.5 in Italy)

Apparently there have been numerous shakes in the same area with minor ones (3.6 - 3.8) all within the past 2-2.5 hours. 2 million people live in the radius of 100 km.

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT NOVEMBER 09

Strong earthquakes measuring 5.1, 6.6, 6.8 and 7.0 struck early Wednesday south of the Fiji Islands in the Pacific, each at a depth of more than 600 kilometers, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

In approximately 36 minutes three powerful earthquakes occurred, the first one M6.8 at 09:38 pm local time with an estimated energy release equivalent to 14.9 atomic bombs. The second M7.0 at at 09:50 pm local time with an estimated energy release equivalent to 29.8 atomic bombs and the third a M6.6 at 10:14 pm local time with an estimated energy release equivalent to 7.5 atomic bombs. Fortunately, there are no nearby human populations.

...each at a depth of more than 600 kilometers, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Just looked at those depths, whoa. Those are very deep reverberations being produced from some layer.

Uranus appears to be a key indicator with the occurrence of great earthquakes. In the last 600 years the greatest earthquakes occurred when Uranus was conjunct or opposite the constellations Aries (25%), Leo (55%) and Sagittarius (20%).

When one considers the lift of the Himalayas or the drop adjacent - and just how fast that may have been (there are hypotheses on this), along with these cosmic alignments that seem to influence (and much more), one wonders just how much all this is underestimated and how fast and deep these changes can be. There is enough evidence that tells us that they were/are very fast immediate life changing events.

No wonder the Rockefellers will have a bad day, you just don't buy your way out of these happenings when they come in earnest.
