Éiriú-Eolas - Breathing Program

yay, the video is here!
i'm downloading right now and will try it over the weekend.

question: would it be helpful to upload the video to a free file-hosting site like rapidshare or megaupload in order to help with the bandwidth?

and a general hint:

i might be Professor van Obvious here, but for those that feel it difficult to switch from chest-breathing to abdominal breathing, how about lying on your back and folding your arms on your chest?
now my arms are somewhat heavy and make it hard to continue chest-breathing, so you switch to abdominal breathing almost automatically.

Just wanted to add that I did the stretches and breathing exercises yesterday (the C's Birthday!!) and when I was finished I noticed that the sky was quite an unusually bright color, so I went to the window and there was the most beautiful and large rainbow in the eastern sky.

It is a wonderful, wonderful thing you all have done. Thanks, Laura and the entire group that helped to make this video. I too find Laura's voice soothing and comforting. These exercises certainly provide one with hope.

I did the breathing and the meditation yesterday night.

The meditation is really great and the prayer goes directly to the heart. Very powerful and to hear that prayer by Laura is quite a gift.

However during the rapid breathing of the Ba Ha, my hands began to tickle and my lips too. And more i was breathing that way, more my hands were tickling and they were becoming numb. I had to stop it for a moment and return to a normal breathing just the time my hands stop tickling. That feeling happened a couple of times during the Ba Ha.

I used to have that kind of feeling when i was doing rebirths many years ago.

Should i have continue breathing rapidly even with that feeling or was-it better to stop it and return to normal breathing?

I also want to thank Laura and all for this wonderful opportunity. I have been doing the breathing for a few weeks now, and recently started practicing the meditation. I notice that it reduces my stress level without making me want to dissociate and forget about what I have to do. Also, during the Ba-Ha there were a couple of occasions where clear images appeared that looked like past-life unresolved issues. Whether that is true or not, it is a lot of food for thought, and it brings up emotions. When I do the exercises at night, I have very symbolic dreams afterwards.

And I usually feel a greater curiosity and desire to learn a lot of things. It's like I am more focused. Try reading SOTT or an interesting book after the exercises, and you'll see! :)

I hope this helps a lot of people to deal with their emotional issues so that we can all BE and therefore DO more!

Wow! I have not yet been able to upload the video, with all these wonderful positive comments, I am really impatient to watch it!
Can someone advise any way to upload it faster(as per my file download pop up, uploading will last for more than 59h!!!!!!)? :( :( :(
Thanks

Those who have problems holding their arms up, just do it as much as you can and then put them down and finish that way. Over time, I believe your strength/energy will increase.

Lying down to practice belly breathing is also a good idea. It might also be possible for those who have limited energy to do the three stage breathing lying down also!

As for tingling, that is not unusual for some. If the pace is too fast and induces these effects and you are not comfortable with them, then slow down. Go at your own pace, be gentle with yourself! Rome wasn't built in a day and you didn't get all those layers of armoring overnight. In some cases, you didn't even get it in just one life, either!

We had a REALLY interesting session last night and I had dreams and all kinds of stuff going on afterwards. It was so powerful that I think everyone in the house still feels the energy today.

Laura If I have problem with my right knee can I do mediation and exercises down Seating ( I can stand but hmm can't overwork ) ? ?

And can you give us clue what was the last night session about and the dream ?:)

as my leg I'm trying to get as fast I can Arthroscope Diagnostic surgery .

Yup. She says in the video you can do the exercises seated.
As for the meditation, it may be best to lay down (and cover up as you get cold) as suggested. Doing the meditation seated may not help with the relaxation. And you may fall off your chair!

:/ is it "normal" to "see" (eyes closed) light flashes during the meditation (it deconcentrated me :-[)? It did it a second time before to sleep (I went outside to smoke a pipe and posted here in the forum between the two sessions).

Hi Namaste ~ I, too, performed the breathing and meditation last night. I struggle to find words to describe it. It was such a very powerful experience. I've practised yoga and breathing meditations over the years but there was absolutely no comparing that to this experience. The prayer came through so clearly with Laura speaking the words almost as if she were 'in my head' speaking.

Thank you Laura, (and team) for this very special and most appreciated gift.

Thank you everyone for the work on the breathing program and video.

I did the breathing exercises again last night in bed and I can't think of how to describe it other than some good juju happened. I laughed some without knowing why, cried a little too, and felt some good kind of connected feeling - imagining Laura and the gang sitting around a fire relaxing and laughing. It was very unique in my experience.

THANKS!

Wow. That was/is incredibly powerful. I can't overstate the impact of these tools you have so generously provided; you have Given. I think, applied, this might just change Everything.

During the rapid breathing i had a hard time following. Not because it was too quick, but because it lasted for so long. I felt this inner frustration for wanting to go back to my normal breathing, but i kept following the ba-ha and suddenly i started laughing really intensely, and then i cried for a short while, really intensely. But i kept trying to keep up with the breathing and kept coming back to it. I was able to fully relax during the meditation, but then i was too energized and it took a while to go to sleep. I am very much looking forward to doing it every night and see what kind of adventure it will turn out to be.

It was a very intense and at the same time invigorating experience for me, and i appreciate all the effort and energy put into creating these amazing and so helpfull videos, all of you! :flowers:

LOL! I did the breathing and meditation around the time I go to bed and was so energized, I only got 3 hours of sleep last night. Oddly though, I am not as tired here at work today as I thought I would be. I am thinking I will do it a bit earlier tonight! ;D There were 2 times during the rapid breathing part were I had the giggles just a teeny bit - not sure what that means...

Thank you Laura and the Team again

I downloaded the video and meditation last night and thought my computer locked up till I realized how big a file it was! lol. Nothing in comparison to how big a gift this is that you have given all of us! I had noticed a few distractions out of nowhere last night but I knew it was just meant to sidetrack me so I ignored them and continued. The video was awesome and the exercises were comfortable and quite easy for me to do. I offer thanks to your lovely instructors for demonstrating some relaxing moves as well. The breathing exercises set my mind and body right at ease. The meditation part blew me away. I really didn't experience anything out of the ordinary but I have never felt so relaxed. My entire body and mind reached a state I can't even describe. When the end came, I didn't know if I wanted to go to sleep or stay up! I was so energized I could have gotten back up for quite a few more hours I'm sure but I chose to stay in bed (being so relaxed as well) and had one of the best nights of sleep ever. Naturally I can't wait to do it again! You and your team truly are a blessing in these times we live in.

I have been told that the meditation audio is now uploaded. Again, it can be linked to from here:

I was actually thinking that tonight might be a good night for some of you to begin the practice - after all, it is the Cs' 15 year anniversary. We are planning an anniversary session, so it just might be interesting to be "connecting" all over the world.

I also understand that a major storm is coming soon... so we may be doing the session by candlelight with a batter powered recorder!

It should be interesting.

Phooey! I missed this! I've got this thread on notification, but it took me several pages ahead when I logged in and I didn't realize the meditation was out. :(

Oh well, I did have some weird feelings early last evening tho. I'd somehow stirred up some really negative emotions. I was cranky and totally discontented with everything. I was on vacation from work the week before, and I could definitely feel a difference in myself in regard to levels of stress and relaxation after being back at work for four days. I started to tell my husband that I do NOT want to be doing this (work) for the rest of my life, but then, realized that just might not be so long after all....

Yes, that is very similar to how I felt after doing it for the first time. I guess that's all part of detoxing the mind. Everything was so much "cleaner" afterward. Very impressive results!
