Hey guys,
I was looking for the right board to post this, and could not figure it out..:P so if this is not the right one accept my apologies,
I also posted this on the EE forum (which in hindsight seems to be the right board for this..hmm) but I also wanted to share it in the cass forum, I had a feeling I should, it's been also suggested by the EE instructors to be the best way to find some answers.

No I didn't,

Appearantly my post was moved from being a new topic in the "what's on your mind" board to this one, apparently the original tittle of my post which was "curious experiences with EE" was moved here and the tittle was kept for some reason.

I will keep that in mind however, thank you jordifs!

Wow, 296 pages. This thread has really grown.
Does anyone have any pros or cons about doing the whole program lying down? My lower back and hips get sore after a while when doing the pipe breathing and Ba Ha sitting cross legged on the floor. It is just easier for me to stay fully relaxed while reclining. If this has already been addressed in this long thread, I apologize for bringing it up again. I will start working my way through the board from where I last left off, and with a search for "lying down".

For me, many times, lying on the floor makes me so relaxed that I sleep ( not a bad thing in a sense). In fact, the same is true to baha too.

I've been doing EE fairly regularly, at least once a week, for about the past month. I intend to step it up so that it's at least once a day.

I'd also like to report that during the BA-HA portion, especially when in the fastest or third cycle of breathing, and switching over to the first again, (I do EE with my eyes closed) I get a very strange sensation as if I'm somehow expanding or merging, or looking in an unknown vast direction that my mind can't possibly fathom.

I was wondering if anyone has had the same sensation, and although I know it's a phenomenon and can potentially be distracting if I fixate on it, I'd just like to know what's happening and what it means.

A consistent meditative process will bring about many sensations. I would not suggest getting hung up on finding the meaning of all of them. I would say observe. Journaling after each meditative period will help identify the sensations that are consistent and should help identify any meanings that are important to preserve. But please don't take this post as a suggestion to not ask questions about your practice nor to not report your sensations during meditation here. This is exactly the thread for that. As to what others have experienced, read some of the posts here. There is no need to sit down and read the entirety of a 297 page thread :) Just read a few here and there or if you are very interested read a couple pages of it per day. Good luck in your practice.

Do you think it is even worth doing the ee if you have eaten anything with gluten or casien that day? Or is it kind of a waste of time?

Do you mean doing whole program once a day?

As for Beatha part, it has been suggested doing it two (or even less - if it gets too rough) times per week. If you have some special reason for doing it more often, I guess you can try. Others may correct me on this, though.
In first two months of practicing EE I had done whole program every day and seen no particular results of doing Beatha so often. Later, when stuff got going I've even found doing it two times per week to much to properly process everything that's been going on.
On the other hand, POTS with several PBs prior to it should be practiced regularly every day (maybe the optimal would be doing it before going to sleep, but not necessarily) and PB as needed and whenever you want to. Fwiw, 3 stage in combination with WB shows up as a very good way to start a day.

Quite the contrary!
It will help detox and eliminate at least part of toxins that entered your system.

It's totally fine to be lying fown for the program, it's important to be as comfortable as possible so as to alleviate relaxation.

Funny, i assumed that i one was supposed to lay down for it. ;D

If by the above you mean that your depth of vision seems to expand greatly, yes, that happens to me often - usually at the end of the bioenergetic breathing. I relate it to a period of clarity and sensitivity.

Hello everyone,

Well it's been a while since I've been meaning to inquire about this, but hadn't really been able to.
Besides the benefits in relaxation from the program that are expected, the raised awareness of all your surroundings, I've had a couple of experiences that I'd like to know if any of you have experienced, so here goes:

When doing only pipe breathing, as in, not the whole program but simply pipe breathing for relaxation, I usually close my eyes, and when I do, I see shapes, 5 pointed star shapes that fill the whole of what I see, it's not a single star, is like a collage or mosaic of shapes and stars that constantly spin in the fashion a kaleidoscope would, these shapes have patterns to them that are irrecognizable, but they also morph, and whenever I see this I have an unnerving feeling that makes me open my eyes, it usually stops when I'm done with the set.

Another one, when doing the whole program, usually when doing the meditation portion (prayer of the soul) the space in between my eyebrows right in the center of my forehead I get a tingly sensation, and it spreads across my forehead to then recede when I'm done with the program.

Another one, this one was recently, right after I was done with the 3 stage breathing portion, for which I usually close my eyes; I opened them and I saw something I could only describe as everything pulsating with light, but it wasn't locally to evey object, I felt it was more like my eyes pulsating, and I was seeing everything through that pulsating retina if you will.

Think of it as if you've ever looked at an old computer or old tv screen as it refreshes the image, you sometimes see a line going down from the top of the screen to the bottom, and this line is a bit brighter that the rest of the screen, it was sort of like that, like a wave of light flowing upwards over and over again, while this happened I felt as though I was physically noticeably vibrating, but i actually wasn't it was more as though I became aware of a very subtle constant vibration, my feeling of this was a very positive one.

I hope this wasn't overwhelming to read! I appreciate any feedback, thank you for reading..

I would love to hear your thoughts on it, thank you very much for reading.

Alejo, Thank you for posting your experiences. This is a rather long thread , Search on color on this forum topic will bring 2 pages of the results. much easier to read.:)

a few times i felt as if i was a lot taller, or looking down from a greater height than before.

The Éiriú-Eolas program is so powerful—the results are so helpful to people that the program really does sell itself. Here is a recent experience I had that shows how powerful the EE breathing techniques are and how the program recently made an immediate and positive contribution to some stressed out students. All I did was briefly share my knowledge of pipe breathing and the program did the rest. Because these techniques are so effective and work so fast, simply helping someone for a few minutes made a big impact on the students’ studies, and created an opportunity teach EE to people at the college where I work.

The last few weeks have been filled with the stress of meeting end of the semester commitments for almost everyone at the school. Teachers, like me, have endless stacks of papers to grade and students have the pressure of exams—all of us look for some last minute support and can use some stress relief. I have my EE practice to sustain me and had a brief opportunity to share it with some others.

A couple of weeks ago I stopped in the hall to speak with one of the nursing students I know and noticed she was extremely tense and experiencing rapid, shallow breathing. She was waiting to go in for an oral exam on clinical procedures and was experiencing some extreme anxiety as one poor grade on their exams can get these students removed from the entire program. Although I was between classes myself and had less than ten minutes free, I impulsively asked her if she would like to learn a breathing technique that would immediately help relieve some of her stress—she enthusiastically replied “YES!” So right there, standing in the middle of the hall, I showed her how to do the pipe breathing technique. Jean is very smart, takes direction well, and learns fast, so she was able to pick it up in just the couple of minutes we had. Here are some of emails she sent to me later.

“I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the breathing lesson yesterday. It saved me - and one of my classmates - and I passed my summative check off with circulation to my hands and everything! I owe you - seriously - and want to learn more! "Survival" is now my password on my CSM account, and breathing may make it possible!

Thank you again............!!
Jean”

After I replied and sent her the EE web site info, she wrote back and said:

“I've started watching the video at this site you sent and think this could be very important to me. If you're around after the semester, maybe we could pick a time for me to come over if you're willing to teach me.”

So now that the time crunch is easing, Jean and I will be getting together soon and hopefully working out a plan to start a small EE class of the nursing students who are always way too stressed out. I am hoping to eventually get some officially recognition by our Nursing program here at the college, as this could go a long way in creating an EE community in this area. It is the immediate relief that people experience with EE that convinces them of its value and creates the desire to learn more. I will post this story on the EE website as well.

That's absolutely fantastic Shelly! Two thumbs up to you for your quick thinking.

The EE program truly is powerful and that's great that you found more people in need of its benefits. Best of luck to you for getting classes started with your nursing associates. It sounds like a great opportunity to spread the word!
