Which all makes me tend to believe that it is more likely that Crooks aimed at Trumps head. And if so, it is was indeed, after all, a pretty astoundingly accurate shot considering the circumstances.
Still four inches to the left! If he had been a pro and aiming center, he would've hit Trump right in the face regardless of the head turn.
I'm still undecided if he aimed for the chest or the head. The bullet passed pretty much parallel to Trump's head, but his body was turned around 45 degrees.
In other news, some interesting things from Twitter. First some tweets from Greg Smith, the guy with the red hair hat who was telling cops about Crooks:
-grey shirt guy clearing the path behind the AGR building was apparently
a janitor there
-he thinks second-shooter theories are bogus,
writing: "No, my buddy counted every trigger pull. 2nd shooter talk is garbage."
-he claims
the van story was disinfo - "completely unrelatedā¦.was a drunk guy who forgot where he parkedā¦.no explosives etc" - "
I was told by a person whoās house is right where they found the van that it was just some drunk guy who forgot where he parked."
This account is also good:
-the guy bleeding was Officer Graham (
heard in one of the bodycam vids - āTrooper Graham was bleeding in that building.ā). You can see his hand bleeding
in another of the videos. But it looks like he cut his hand
climbing the fence, not trying to get on the roof.
-blood in the bathroom remark on the radio captured in
this vid
hence the screen being on Trump's right... otherwise he would have presented his back to Crooks by turning left where the screen apparently had always been set up in the past.
