Hagar is VERY sick

Do you think that the chemicals from the Gulf, might be having an effect on plant and animal life in your area?

A greenhouse seems like a great idea for next year!

Try to not let this fact of physicality get you down.

I'm trying....but it's REALLY difficult when ya can't remember why you decided to hop a decaying meatsack to begin with. As I recall, it seemed like a really good idea at the time...then again, maybe I just lost a bet?

It is quite opposite to the feeling when spring is in the air. I guess a good term is the circle of life.

It's high summer here, everything should be bright and green...not dying. It looks more like October except the leaves should die from the edges inward.

Plant more trees and bulbs for next spring.

I think we're going to have to build a greenhouse...a BIG one.

I may be off, but I think it's possible that the message is not about some specific deeds that you need to do/not to do so to directly prevent or stop those things happening. I have no idea what it can be about, but it can concern a very basic beliefs you are still clinging to.

Well I wish I knew which ones, I'd toss them in a heartbeat for the sake of local wildlife.

I've done LOTS of things in my life that I knew were going to cause me problems down the road, but I did them anyway...usually because some abusive scumbag really ticked me off.

This is soooo different though..all the things that keep happening are out of my control, I can't prevent or stop it....or if I can, I don't know how.

I may be off, but I think it's possible that the message is not about some specific deeds that you need to do/not to do so to directly prevent or stop those things happening. The universe may be sending 2D beings on your way knowing that you care about them so you won't miss the envelopes. But to know what the message is about you need to look inside. Just a thought, fwiw.

What comes to me is that you are in the middle of a maelstrom - and all your emotions are running high. Which is quite understandable under the circumstances! I was wondering if you could take some time to get REALLY still inside; perhaps do the full EE and then just take some time out. Then maybe you would get a better sense of what you can do/need to do versus what you just need to accept in terms of the choices of your 2D creatures. FWIW....

Darn that does sound like I didn't read the full post, however I was going to add "It doesn't have to be your birthday to take some time out for yourself and say goodbye to the beach," but then I started off on a story about how I was also going to the beach to say goodbye before I leave Alabama, however when I re-read my reply, it seemed like I was talking too much about myself, and not being considerate, so I deleted about half of my post.

I second and third guessed myself. Thanks for pointing out my obvious mistake anart.

Sorry Guardian. :(

Not a problem hon, I realize others are going through the same type of stuff...especially near the Gulf....I understand your need to say goodbye. We're in the same leaky boat. When the living things we love die, like the ocean and the trees, plants, etc. I think parts of us die too.

I'm sitting talking about myself to much too ...I'm just NOT good at waiting. I just called again and Hagar is STILL in surgery. It's already taken twice as long as they said it would.

Yesterday i was writing a short article ending with goats and the last one i found most cute was this african pigmy goat and put the picture on show.

This stout fellow looks just like Hagar, if he gained about 30 pounds LOL

Hi Guardian,

Hope your little guy gets through the surgery ok. It's wonderful you had access to the expertise Hagar needed.

It's sad about the rabbit, especially when you were already upset. Even though it happens every year, I still feel badly for all the gophers that get run over in the spring here. They just have no awareness of cars, no matter how carefully one drives.

Yes, the entire Joyce Kilmer Forrest is dying...everything. I talked to a Ranger and he said "We've been told to tell the tourists it's bugs"

I asked him "So where are the bugs?" There were NONE ..not even under rocks. "Are these invisible bugs that ooze acid and eat EVERYTHING?"

The Ranger didn't have an answer...just said "that's what we've been told to say about the damage"

Tell me about it! Same here for the sake of fellow commuters. But I doubt the universe just decides to hurt or kill something just for the sake of sending someone else a message, at least I don't think it's that simple since the lessons of the victim and everyone/everything else around must be taken into consideration as well, etc. So it's almost like you just happen to be at the "right" place at the "right" time depending on who you are and what you need to experience, and everyone/everything that is part of that experience is also there because it is "right" for them to play their individual role in that experience.

I'm sorry for the other people, but I'm REALLY glad the accident missed you SAO!!!
Thanks, but it was a really close call so perhaps the message is literally "I'm close to danger", in other words, I could be next. On the other hand, it was a "crash" so maybe I need to "crash" aka get some sleep, as I was half asleep behind the wheel when it happened, and that sure was a rude awakening that kept me up the rest of the way home. Remember when Laura's cast iron skillet broke in such a way that the handle came off? And the C's asked what part broke off - and the answer is the handle, so she needed to perhaps get a handle on certain things. So maybe thinking in literal terms of what actually happened might be a good approach to getting the message therein. It's like that book, the title of which escapes me at the moment, about how to heal different pains in your body by interpreting them in terms of the psychological issue that may be causing it. And the way they tend to be interpreted is pretty simply by looking at the function of the bodypart that is hurting and re-defining that function in terms of psychological things. Lots of forum members use it to look up what a certain pain might "mean", and I've seen it quoted often when someone is hurting as one avenue to consider (anyone care to see what it says for urethra issues, or something like that? Not sure if it applies to goats, but who says Hagar can't have his own psychological issues!).

So in your case, you say you were driving slowly but the bunny rushed under your wheel, and there was nothing you could do - so the bunny's actions caused this. Have you been rushing lately, or have a tendency to rush into decisions without careful consideration, or anything like that? Especially things that seem easy to handle (like a 20mph car) but can be deadly if rushed into? As for Hagar, his urethra is blocked so he can't pee, which is bodily waste disposal, soooo do you have psychological/emotional "waste" that you have been blocked from disposing? Any lingering emotions or thoughts/programs/sacred cows that have been negatively influencing you, especially lately? Anything stressful or painful experiences that you haven't recovered from and still sit in the back of your mind? You could be your own block, or maybe you've been distracted by other things and haven't been doing "waste disposal" lately? Have you been doing EE?

Just some thoughts - none of it could be true, but maybe it'll help you find meaning. Maybe the message isn't to you but to a wider audience - to get ready for hard times ahead, etc. If humans are "leaving" in planes like Air France, bunnies could be using cars, and shrimp use fishing boats. We can only do so much, but the planet is definitely scratching like a dog with a bad case of fleas, and we might be those fleas, or at least the psychopaths no doubt are.

Wow how terrible! I feel for the Ranger too, he has to watch this all and I'm sure he must have loved nature to get a Ranger's job, and then to have to lie on top of witnessing the distruction? Of course I can't be sure of how he feels.

We haven't had a noticable effect on plant and animal life yet in our backyard, but I've noticed that the sea birds are flocking to the irrigated grass turf feilds that are all over. I can't imagine there being much by way of food in these feilds, but I'm pretty sure they are attempting to escape the nasty chemicals of the Gulf. I'd also never seen Cranes land and feed in the tiny pond by my yard. They were of course a pleasure to watch, but it bought me deep sadness to think that they have to hunt in some crappy pond instead of the once beautiful life filled marshes. :(

Hey Guardian, I too am sorry to hear about Hagar and the rabbit. Lots of stress in your life right now - no doubt about it. Sure appears as if you are being tested greatly.

Hope things work out with Hagar. May you gain some needed strength to deal with it all. Take care of yourself...so that you can better take care of others.

Are you talking about all that awful bark damage on the old growth poplars? That was there years ago, but yeah... I thought it was bugs. LIke the poplar version of a pine beetle... If it is not, it is just too weird and awful.

Hi Patience, she's talking about the recent acid rain she posted about here - http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=18902.0 .

The vet just called, and it's not great news, but not totally horrible either. They went in and tried to flush the stones but his tiny little urethra collapsed/ruptured, which is exactly what they were afraid of because he's so small.

They've put in a temporary tube and then built him a new way to pee, about an inch under where the poop comes out. Hopefully the new pee path will heal ok and then they can take the tube out. In essence, if he makes it, he will pee like a girl goat instead of a boy goat. It was a REALLY long surgery, almost 5 hours, but he seems to be coming around ok so far.

Hilda would not be separated from him... they said she jumped the gate of the pen they had her in and was running around the barn crying for him. They had to take her into the surgery with him and someone held her while they watched.

I was just posting a question if there was any word. Well, he made it this far. :) Get him on probiotics after the course of antibiotics is finished!
