Is gender a social construct?

Stumbled upon this one today. You're not going to believe this: a drag-queen boy of 8 years old from Canada.

Who said 8 years old was too young to be a superstar!!!!!

He has been taking dance classes for more than a year and today is performing in a dance competition. You go girl and show them how it's done. The parents are always with Lactatia in all public events when he performs in drag so don't worry people this kid is always in a safe and secure environment.

Lactatia you rock our world and you are a true inspiration for a lot of people !!!

Funny thing is, that hadn't even occurred to me: How does one explain 50 Shades of Grey and at the same time, the "equality for all, down with the evil white patriarchy!" thing?

It sure makes sense...

To be fair, saying 50 Shades of Grey is about male domination is a stretch. It's completely congruent with feminist ideology in every detail. Anastasia Steele is an uncouth, klutzy and incompetent non-entity who gets involved in a relationship where the rules and stipulations are provided honestly and up front. She proceeds to violate or renege on every single one, and Christian Grey, like a pansy, just takes it while buying her new computers, new cars, new clothes and jet setting around with her (why I'll never understand) as he serves as her personal orgasm delivery unit. The only time when some real MLR/BDSM stuff is supposed to happen, she safe words out before they get to the top of the stairs, and like a cuck he's doesn't even send her packing. The book is wallet porn.

It's not gender fluid if you're just dressing like a girl...

I'm fairly sure girls don't dress like that ;)

Touché.

Allthough that doesn't seem practical to wear.

- On another note, Pokemon Go is still around, and they don't let you choose a gender, instead genders are now 'styles'

Pokemon Go allows users to use gender-fluid avatars – and Gamers are loving it.
https://mic.com/articles/148521/pok-mon-go-allows-users-to-use-gender-fluid-avatars-and-gamers-are-loving-it#.ZcoJq55Nc
Pokémon Go is letting its users find and catch Pokémon through gender-fluid avatars, according to the Independent — and gamers love it.

When players create their avatars, they're given the option to choose between two styles, as opposed to asking players to choose between genders. Then players are allowed to customize their avatars' physical appearances and fashion. This allows a lot of players who aren't on the gender binary to actually create an avatar that looks like them.

Pokemon Go doesn't ask you to choose your gender, it asks you to choose your style. I kind of like that phrasing.

Perhaps this option was born out of a direct request from gamers. Months ago, Pokémon fans created a petition addressed to Nintendo to request the addition of an "other" gender option.

"People identify with many more genders than this binary question suggests," the petition said. "Some are gender-fluid, switching between genders; nonbinary, identifying as a third gender; or agender, identifying with no gender at all. There are many more identities than just the three listed as examples."

Kudos to Pokémon for recognizing the many genders of gamers.

It's not just Amazon's opinion though. Some of these outfits have over 300 reviews - and mostly positive. Although I may be a tad traumatised having read just two out of curiosity.

Yup, equality between genders. Wearable mosquito net edition :scared:

Equality? Get some.

This is an interesting video, though it has strong language, that's part of the point. It's showing precisely how absolutely disturbed people are. Again, not strictly gender identity, but libtardedness to the extreme.

The discussion is about the One Love concert, which followed the recent events in the UK. Ariana, that paragon of femininity, Grande even dedicated a song to the victims. Aww, so sweet much loving.

The video is by Black Pigeon Speaks, who can be a bit of a trip, but the point he makes is valid.

The question I have is: these people don't have a clue about what is really going on, they believe the narrative of terrorism: So how can they behave this way?

I'd like to see some thoughts from forum members on this. Particularly the whole anti-feminism red pill narrative, the 80/20 rule, monogamy vs polygamy and societal stability etc. ANd how the concurrent 'liberation' of women and emasculation of men has devastating effects. I have been looking into this for a while now. Obviously yet again it's just a small piece of the puzzle of life on planet Earth but it makes good points.

It seems to me that sexual liberation is really just becoming more like an animal, which would suggest that we become more like chimpanzees and neglect our intellect/emotions. Psychopaths also thrive in this environment because, having no fear or conscience, they are the most dominant and most like an animal. And this also explains why women love psychopaths.

They're possessed by the idea of social justice and therefore the very last thing they will do will condone anger in response to terror attacks because that is seen as leading directly to racist attacks against Muslims as a whole. It really is amazing to see the point that at least some people have been brought to. It's pretty clear that, even if the major cause is them being duped, some people are being murdered by their own government (directly or indirectly) and in response the victims families and many people in general are calling for calm and, effectively, no response whatsoever. Pretty sick.

I think that men and women are potentially very complementary. Men and women, generally do exhibit different traits and skills. Therefore in a proper context where there is a proper love and understanding, they can learn a lot from each other. In this sense 'gender' or 'sex' is the duality of all duality through which people can define their individuality and more importantly better it.

This being said years of post-modernism have muddied the waters, transformed complementarity into oppositions and led to a growing number of men who are caricatures of women (emulating the worse traits of women) and women who are caricatures of men (emulating the worst traits of men). A coming generation of emasculated men and 'defimininated' women.

Despite the blurring of the sex roles and attributes, many men and women still have a strong instinctual drive for their archetypal complementary half. Men still crave need feminine energy and women still crave masculine energy.

In a world dominated by appearance over substance, matter over spirit, lies over truth, caricatures and substitutes reign supreme, hence the amazing success of '50 shades of grey' which is one among many other examples, where women/men embrace a caricatural substitute of the opposite energy in overcompensation for the lack of real masculinity/femininity in our modern world

What a load of sexist crap... and I quote.... 'I'm not'...(but I really am) intimating that women: do this, and the other thing (but let me tell you what exactly.). Presumably because they can't help it. Well, let me tell you, they can! Um, news flash, women aren't stupid.

When are people going to get that psychopaths, (yes, of all sexes) screw people over equally? And, being overly intellectually orientated is not going to help you. It's not a substitute for emotional empathy. It never has been, nor will it ever be! No matter how 'smart' they make it sound.

That's exactly my point. It doesn't matter who you think dunnit at that point, your own children are being murdered, but your ideology trumps their lives? We should be able to forgive them for being bigotted (islam is a religion, not a race), but who could forgive them for valuing a stranger's sensibilities over the life of their baby?
