Jordan Peterson: Gender Pronouns and Free Speech War

Reparations still won’t cure victim mentality.

These people have never been slaves and I have never had slaves. Besides, will they also advocate for reparations for the countries and people destroyed by US imperialism? They couldn't care less, the only thing that motivates these people is if they can benefit from something at the expense of others.

They are soulless losers.

A new hearing on giving reparations to African Americans in the US has reignited discussion. But all reparations really are, are a distraction from other issues that could be solved to help black communities.

A British police dept are having to backtrack after a recent bizarre 'LGBT-friendly' campaign where they explicitly stated that 'being offensive was an offence'. Legal professionals i follow on twitter corrected them at the time saying that, actually, being offensive was not a criminal offence at all...

In their retraction the police tried to deflect by talking about 'hate crimes'.

One response linked to the following story where apparently 2 judges ruled being offensive on twitter was covered by freedom of speech: Freedom of speech includes the right to offend, say judges

I'm posting the images rather than the tweets in case they get deleted - as the 1st image did.

If you haven't seen yet, here's an interview with Gina Carano about Disney, cancel culture, how she was bullied, and how many people in Hollywood actually support her, but do it quietly because they are afraid to lose their jobs.

P.S. You can skip Shapiro's adverts. ;-)

It was good to hear Gina articulating her side of the story. Despite all the abuse that's been heaped on her, she still has a positive outlook and a willingness to talk to those who disagree with her. She even mentions talking to a couple of trans activists with whom she had some good exchanges of views and overall friendly interactions. But the charged atmosphere of that whole world keeps them silent.

Good to watch speeded up if short for time.
