Michael Tsarion on God and evil: Sitchin and Icke Redux

Considering the fact that we know very well that there is a serious and deadly game being played on the global stage today, that psychopaths rule the world and that they have unique insight into how to attract, engage and entrap "normal" people who do not have adequate psychological knowledge, something in the intro to Anna Salter's book on predators sticks in my mind:

"Above all, I encourage parents to make careful, slow choices about people they include in their
children's lives - and fast choices about the people they exclude."
This should be applied to ourselves as well as our children. In fact, we should guard our own souls as carefully and anxiously as we would guard a well-loved child.

In the case of religions and philosophies and "esoteric teachings," we very desperately need to apply this same maxim: Make careful and slow choices about any individual, teaching, material you assimilate to your psyche, and when you see the tiniest indication that something is amiss, make a fast decision to exclude it. As the C's once said to me during my more credulous days:

Q: (L) Okay, during the period of time I was getting the
hassle from the metaphysical church group, my pool was
green. Was this symbolic of the attack I was under?
A: Yes but you left yourself open by association and buying
too many concepts without careful examination. ...
Investigate before buying and practicing
in future okay?
Q: (L) Investigate what? Ideas?
A: Yes. And concepts and especially practices
On one of Tsarion's first pages, he announces his affiliation by mentioning Aliester Crowley and Helena Blavatsky.

That's a serious clue.

It doesn't surprise me that people are as gullible as they are. Heck, the program to cover up the truth about psychopathy and OPs has been very effective. I actually can't think of anything more worthy of study than that.

Well, anyway, I had a look at the whois data on his site:

About Book

...a must read for everyone on the planet - Dr. Roger Leir DPM (author and leading paranormal researcher).

For 50,000 years the "Technocracy of Power" has indulged in suppression and slaughter in order to conceal the truth about humankind's origins and purpose. This indispensable work signals the failure of their age-old stratagems and deceptions and is compulsory reading for those with a passionate desire to know the real origins of conflict on the planet and in the psyche - Jordan Maxwell (author, historian, talk show host and expert on secret societies).

In the tradition of Comyns Beaumont, Ignatius Donnelly, Immanuel Velikovsky, William Bramley, Barbara Marciniak, Laurence Gardener and Erich von Daniken, Michael considers the consequences to civilization of extra-terrestrial involvement and seeks to clarify many of the quandaries that other "visitation" experts have overlooked. His book seeks to clarify much of the disinformation about Atlantis and the lost continents of prehistory. It concentrates on the orchestrated chaos of modern times and reveals how the political and military machinations of the present have their roots in the ancient past. As well as stating the problems, Michael also furnishes us with solutions to the moral and social predicaments that have beset humankind for millennia. Born in Ireland Michael Tsarion has made the deepest researches into the comparative mythologies of the world and into his own country's ancient and mysterious Celtic Tradition. His presentations on Atlantis, Lemuria and the prediluvian epoch have been acclaimed by veterans in the field of paranormal research.

Preface from Book

We are here to learn to love one another. I do not know what the others are here for - W. H. Auden

During the next ten years the human race is destined to finally discover the facts about its true origins and destiny. As part of this discovery we have to address the overwhelmingly important question of how the phenomena of evil came into the world and into the consciousness of the Earth's human inhabitants. This is a question which should be on the mind of every living man and woman. It has been with us for millennia and it will be with the children of the future if we do not come upon the answer now. We have left the question of evil in the hands of theologians and scientists for too long. This was surely a mistake for, as the casualty statistics clearly testify, the institutions of religion and science have been the worst purveyors of evil that this planet has ever had to endure. After centuries of prevarication and criminality we can no longer afford to look to these edifices to answer the all-important conundrum of evil.

But if we turn from religion and science, in this regard, does it mean that we are left in a void? Is there, perhaps, another answer to how the phenomenon of evil came into being? I believe that the answer lies in the ancient records of our forefathers and in the myths and legends of the pre- and post-diluvian epochs, that speak of the visitation of the "gods" or "angels." Several key researchers have stated that these beings were actually extra-terrestrial entities. I will address who they were, why they came here and show that after their arrival they established their main headquarters at what we now call Atlantis and from there they instigated a hybridization program lasting centuries. Their genetic interference of the Earth Races resulted in several hybrid creatures, one of whom I will refer to as "Homo Atlantis." Each and every living "Adamic" human, of the last 10 millennia or more, is descended from this exceptional being. Every one of us has both "human" and "alien" DNA and this is exactly what we have been told in all the world's sundry myths, from the Celtic and Arthurian legends to the Ramayana and Mahabharata. It is also implied by recent scientific findings into the geological record and the biology and genetics of humans, findings which are being sequestered by those with a vested interest in maintaining the present status quo. Its greatest proof, one can argue, lies in the mysteriously destructive behavior that we, modern humans, have adopted toward our own home planet, the animal kingdom and the indigenous peoples who have lived in relative harmony with the planet.

In my work I intend to show that the descendants of these ancient visitors are still in custodianship of the planet Earth. I will demonstrate that their agendas are not commensurate with the present or future best interests of "Adamic" mankind. Due to the surge in technological advancement our once beauteous planet is now on the brink of ecocide while its political and economic underclasses are subject to a very real New World Order. It has been said that there is no excuse for ignorance of the law. However, it is also a truism that ignorance of the law-makers is also no excuse. The end-game of the visiting alien race and their descendants is being played out in the present "Silicon Age." It swiftly and relentlessly advances while most of us, preoccupied with our domestic and professional roles, have little time or energy to speculate how the multifarious phenomena of our world came into being. Adroit manipulation from those within the echelons of power make quite certain that our attention is rarely focused on the law-makers and those in control of the economy, military, media and technology of the world.

In this book my intention is to draw the attention of the ordinary person to the reasons why he lives in the disempowered existential state he does and that while confined to circumscribed, socially-vetted roles, he and his fellows will have little ability and less resource to prevent the evil that is evidence everywhere, especially in the so-called "corridors of power." I explain why it is that in the back of every mind is the memory of a time when life was harmonious and reverent, when there was no war and little in the way of want, subjugation or class division. I explain something of the fate of women and why it is that they have suffered the incredible atrocities they have through the post-diluvian ages. I show that they continue to be collectively punished for a certain "crime" they committed on this planet approximately 13,000 years ago. I make mention of the significant role that women are to play in the times ahead once they take back the power that was theirs in the days of old.

In the Epilogue I continue to detail the end-game which is being played out as you read. The ancient Mayan Calendar stipulated the date 2012 as the end of time. It may indeed be the end of the world as we know it. The way things are going, there seems good reason for regarding ourselves on this planet to be well passed the "Eleventh Hour." In fact, we are at a "Defcon One" situation and subconsciously, everyone knows it.

This book, which first appeared as a short essay, was not written in, or for, levity and is not a work of fiction. It is based on over three decades of research and was composed in the utmost seriousness. It demands a certain austere attention, where personal prejudices and partisan conditionings are temporarily, if not permanently, bracketed. I urgently implore even the most inveterate skeptic to suspend incredulity and contemplate the sublime consequences to himself, his fellows and to the Earth upon which he lives, if the question of evil could once and for all be answered and its worst effects assuaged quickly and without further loss of life or welfare. However, being well aware of the state of decay in this age of entertainment and chronic narcissism, I leave to those who cannot suspend their mental and behavioral conditioning the following quote, while dedicating this book to those who now understand, or in the near future will come to understand, that before law, country, money, pleasure, love or even god, our supernal right and need has always been and remains - Freedom!

For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest, neither anything hid, that shall not be known and come abroad - Luke 8:17
Enough for tonight. Anyone else care to dig on this one?

Hi Ronnie -- I didn't say Tsarion was channeling and he certainly doesn't say he is. It's up to you whether to associate Tsarion with New Age (which is not all about channeling, either). There are certainly those who do.

Many of the same disinformation discernment techniques can be applied to research or anything else (a movie, TV show, novel, editorial, science article, news broadcast, religious writing, philosophy, political speech, anonymous stock tip, etc.). Sorry that I wasn't clear on that. Much disinformation may be entirely original. Much may be the work of unwitting pawns ("useful idiots" -- high intentions or not) of the PTB. I would sure guess that most CoIntelPro doesn't involve channeling.

Maybe check out Laura's articles such as The Stargate Conspiracy (http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/stargate.htm), Ross Institute: COINTELPRO or Agent of Mossad? (http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/rickross.htm), or Has Nibiru/Planet X Been Sighted? (http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/sitchin.htm).

Cheers.

P.S. I did an AltaVista search on "sidereal mythologist" and got 46 hits. 45 of them also included the word Tsarion. It appears that he is not just a sidereal mythologist, but the sidereal mythologist. The exception page was a dodgy online pharmacy -- "Sidereal mythologist" didn't actually appear on the page but was buried in the HTML as a bait phrase, surely encoded there by some program that lifted it from my computer. Robotic electronic surveillance in action.

Well, I just find some of the timing and subjects fascinating considering that there are so many parallels between the interests of Rense, Weidner, Bridges and Tsarion. Not only that, but that there are indications that they are part of the same "group." Since I started writing The Wave in 1999 - the same year Tsarion bought the domain - and it had all been published by the time he decided to put the site up in 2001 - which was AFTER all of The Wave that is now online was published and that many of his subjects mirror what was published there and in the Grail Series, which was published even earlier. Even more interesting is the fact that he promotes the very sources that I had already been through and discarded as disinfo. So it very much comes across as damage control.

Another interesting thing is his take on the Tarot and divination. Divination is a very primitive approach to esotericism. It's the thing that attracts a lot of people who can recognize that there is something "wrong" with reality and seek the answers in the form of "advice" on how to conduct their lives so as to "stack the deck" in their favor, as it were. It's rather like an individual in Plato's cave who undertakes the study of the shadows and trying to discover "repeating patterns" of shadows in order to conjecture what is making the shadows. The reason I know this is because I did it myself - along with about everybody else I know about who is attracted to esoteric subjects.

It is only when you realize that the shadows will never give you a real insight into what causes the shadows and that the reality of the shadow creators is way more complex than such simplistic studies can reveal that you come to that point where you know that with all you know, you know absolutely nothing. It is only from this point of total bankruptcy that you can actually really ASK the question. And then it must be a burning question, it must be asked with your whole being, and you must work very hard and put a great deal of energy into the question for it to increase its signal potential so as to rise above the cloud of noise that surrounds our reality. IF you can do that, there is a possibility that you just might begin to get real answers. As I wrote in "The World Inside the Devil"

Georges Gurdjieff commented:

"The idea of initiation, which reaches us through pseudo-esoteric systems, is also transmitted to us in a completely wrong from.

"The legends concerning the outward rites of initiation have been created out of the scraps of information we possess in regard to the ancient Mysteries. [...]

"Transitions from one level of being to another were marked by ceremonies of presentation of a special kind, that is, initiation.

"But a change of being cannot be brought about by any rites.

"Rites can only mark an accomplished transition.

"And it is only in pseudo-esoteric systems in which there is nothing else except these rites, that they begin to attribute to the rites an independent meaning.

"It is supposed that a rite, in being transformed into a sacrament, transmits or communicates certain forces to the initiate. This again relates to the psychology of an imitation way.

"There is not, nor can there be, any outward initiation. In reality only self-initiation, self-presentation exist. Systems and schools can indicate methods and ways, but no system or school whatever can do for a man the work that he must do himself.

"Inner growth, a change of being, depend entirely upon the work which a man must do on himself." [Gurdjieff quoted by Ouspensky in In Search of the Miraculous]
Like most other seekers of higher spiritual states, I was inculcated for most of my life with the ideas promoted by the "imitation systems" mentioned by Gurdjieff above. And it was from this frame of reference that my early interactions with the C's took place during which time most of my "sacred cows" were put out to pasture and I was divested of many errors.
Tsarion seems to be still inured in these same errors and unfortunately, that means that he is the blind leading the blind.

Knowing who a man associates with and who are the main players in his philosophy is a good indication of the nature of his beliefs. I noticed that high up on Tsarion's list of valued associates is Jordon Maxwell.

I notice quite a few familiar names. many of which we have come to associate with disinformation.

Oh my! That's a veritable rogues gallery, isn't it?

Most of them seem to be useful idiots, a couple I know to be sincere but not very bright, and a couple are probably conscious of deliberately misleading; for example, J.J. Hurtak. Have a look here:

Thank You, Laura and Everyone.....

I've read the wave on line however, It was a few years back now. It is hard for me to read on line for long periods of time cause my eye's just get tired. Happy to say the four wave books came in the mail yesterday and I'm looking forward to going through it slower this time. About the Tsarion dust up, I was only judging by what was in the book, and not who showed up to his garden party. I wouldn't want to be judged by some of the people I've been seen with. "I used to work at City Hall in SF" Ha! ;) BTW Political Ponerology didn't come in the order. Does it get shipped from somewhere else separately? I'm going to take a break for awhile, Happy Day. R

Yes, Ponerology ships from another location.

As for being judged by who you have been seen with, the issue is: do you hang out with them now? Do you advertise them as your best buds? That's what we are talking about here. Not just a case of somebody "being seen" with someone...

I have noticed Tsarion's book (the DNA Manipulations one) on various "suggested reading" lists over the past year, so I've kept in mind checking it out, but have never got around to it. When the link to his site was posted on this forum, I bookmarked it and checked out some of the sections, particularly the one on Taroscopes. I watched some of the videos and wasn't too impressed. Sure, he is a walking encyclopaedia of names and facts, but is he critical? Apparently not, as he doesn't seem to be separating the milk from the cream.

For example, check out the clip on the "Egyptian origins of the Tarot" at http://www.taroscopes.com/webstream/tourvideos/tourvideos.html#. Now, until recently (as Axel has pointed out in the Tarot thread), the earliest references to the Tarot were edicts forbidding card cambling (such as the 1327 edict of Alphonso XI, King of Leon and Castille in Spain). Not exactly hard evidence of Egyptian origins! It wasn't even until the last couple hundred years before it acquired its "occult" character. This reminds me of the Ra group's credulous belief that the Tarot was copied from the walls of the Great Pyramid.

Here are Tsarion's words:
This denial [that the cards originated in Egypt] is totally is totally unbelievable since the very images of the cards refer to Egyption iconography, symbolism, and cosmology.
...put an end to the endless, nonsensical debate over the origins of the cards.
Sorry, Michael, but the presence of Egyptian symbols does not mean they originated in Egypt! This is like saying that because the Gospel of Judas uses "Christian narratives" that it was written by Jesus' followers. Does he consider that the creators of the Tarot were simply aware of Egyptian symbols? Notice his tone of voice. "would-be Tarot scholars..." He is not calling for an open debate, but closing the book on those silly "scholars" who say there is no proof. Sorry again, Michael, but there is no proof (that I know of, and I don't find his convincing, however, unlike Michael, I'm willing to change my mind with a good argument).

It seems that Michael as a few (thousand) sacred cows, as he is more interested in carrying on the "tradition" of mainstream esotericism than getting to the truth of the matter.

I get the impression that Tsarion sorts through numerous sources and voluminous material and keeps that part he has determined is useful--while not necessarily making a value judgment as to the source, positive or negative. I'm not entirely convinced that this in itself discredits him.

I don't know enough one way or the other to determine the validity of his claim re: the Tarot and Egypt. In that case I see him speaking as a teacher that has done the research and is making the factual claim to the student--not in that particular forum feeling the need to justify or back up the claim.

One point that Tsarion makes that does resonate is his distinction between humans and animals in that humans are the species that is vicious, cruel, and violent for pleasure. Though I think the study of psychopathy (and OP's) seems to help clarify this problem far more helpfully than Tsarion's speculations re: genetic manipulation.

In other words, I'm still not convinced re: Tsarion and any further critique/information that anybody digs up would be helpful.

For example, what about his study of the subversive use of symbolism? His facts seem to be accurate in this regard.

Well, even in this regard, it seems that Tsarion has just taken stuff that has been "long accepted" and built on it without asking the fundamental question: was it true to begin with and how to find out?

Specifically, the so-called "Egyptian origin" of the Tarot.

In another thread, I posted the following recent research that seems to contradict this idea:

I've been interested in the Tarot for some time now, but not as a "divinatory" tool, but rather as a code system. My experience has been that about anything can be used for divination from a regular deck of cards to just taking a walk and observing nature. At present, other than the C's, we only use the I Ching - and then only on matters of importance. By now we figure if we haven't learned enough to navigate this world without constantly checking something external, we aren't learning our lessons too well.

But, back to the Tarot as a code system. As ya'll probably know by now, I am always trying to look deeper into a matter so as to avoid as much "cosmic cointelpro" as possible. I think that the Tarot has been subjected to an enormous amount of this distortion and twisting.

Last fall we attended a conference in Marseille. Generally, when wives accompany their husbands to such affairs, the wife has to figure out how to entertain herself while lectures and seminars are going on. On this occasion, good fortune smiled on me. A friend in Marseille is also interested in our work and he offered to act as my guide in Marseille and suggested a trip to Saint Victors. (I took lots of photos, just haven't had time to make an album yet.) We spent about three hours there.

First let me share Axel's translation of a history of Luminy:

Origins of Luminy (Translation) " Extract from " Les 30 ans de Luminy " (Grand Luminy, 1998)
According to the " dictionnaire des villes, villages et hameau des Bouches du Rhône " (Alfred Saurel, 1878) Luminy comes from Lumen (latin) : the fire, the light. The spelling of Luminy has changed over time. In "Le dictionnaire de la Noblesse " (Derbois et Badier), it is spelled : " Lumigny ". Some other spellings were " Luminie " or " Lumini ". Since the XVIIIth century, the usual spelling is " Luminy "

Luminy official history brings us back roughly to 1000 (in 1005, a dowry including some ground fields located between Marseille and Toulon was recorded for the wedding of the Fulco (!) Vicomte and Lady Odile)
During the XIth century, Luminy buildings, where the chapel is located, were the property of the monks of St Victor Abbey. Later on, Luminy area became the property of a Cistercian order : The Mount of Sion. In 1242, an abbess enlarged Luminy buildings that got called Abbey of the Mount of Sion , it was meant to accommodate young girls coming from the Provence nobility.

The property is bough by the OlliEre family in the middle of the XVIth century. From this time, it is developed (wheat fields, oats, vineyards) : there were in Luminy excellent muscat grape fields and raisins for wine, given to the monks of St Victor abbey. You could find numerous fruit trees : olive trees for oil, almond trees, mulberry trees creating a long alley behind the œcastle , fig trees, cherry trees says a chronicle.

A 1754 map published by the Provence general government mentions the Luminy area.

In 1819, Lady Baudoin, OlliEre widow, sells the property to Augustin Felix Fabre for 107000 French francs. Luminy becomes the property of a ship's managers family : its destiny will be linked to the growth of the Marseille trade and to the limits of colonies expansion.

At this time, Luminy is a 1200 hectares property - of which 200 are cultivable - along the sea shore with vineyards, lucerne and cereal fields. Goats and lambs are grown, pine trees from the hills are exploited.

The history of Luminy is then tied to the Fabre family. When Felix Fabre died, the property is undivided. At this time a huge water tank (5000 cubic meters) that still exists is built in order to water the crops.

The surrounding is improved with lime trees, cedar trees, chestnut trees. The master house is enlarged in order to accommodate the different members of the family, but although it's called "castle", it keeps its original simplicity.

Note: this is the building that we stay in when we go to Marseille. It is a lovely villa that has been converted to a research insitute and guest apartments.

In 1918, the property is still undivided. It will last until 1923. Paul Cyprien Fabre becomes the only owner of Luminy where he initiates many works : renovation of the park, opening of a road leading to the Calanque of Sugiton, planting of Pine trees, oaks and Atlas Cedars.

Mr A. Aragnol, first dean of Luminy university park adds : it's when the 993 hectares 40a 10ca of Luminy were affected to the health and social security services (1945) that the destiny of the property totally changed. The plan was to build, after 2nd WW, a large hospital meeting the medical needs of the Marseille population. This hospital was finally built in St Antoine (northern Marseille)

This last remark quickly glosses over what happened. The property was confiscated by the French government after WW II because the Fabre family was accused of being "Nazi sympathizers." Over the last 40 years Luminy became a science park including research labs, teaching facilities and high tech firms in various fields like mathemics, IT or biotechnologies.

Notice in the above translation that Luminy is connected to Saint Victor's and also notice the interesting mentions of Sion, certain "holy orders" and even "lucerne". So, the discussion has a lot of curious connections. Here is what my friend - Axel - has found regarding the links between Tarot, Cassien and St Victor, the source is:
http://www.unicorne.com/divinatoire/tarot/historique.html and here is a partial translation:

Translation: Even the etymological origin of the word remains obscure. Some people say the word "Tarot" comes from two Egyptian words: Tar, " way " or " trail " and Ro, that refers to "king" or "royal" and that would mean "royal way of the life". Perhaps it's a twist of Egyptian gods Ptah, "master of the creation" and Ra, Sun-God . Maybe it comes from Ra Ta, a great Egyptian priest, who is said to come from Atlantis or from Taroet "the one you question".

Some others prefer the tzigane or bohemian origin: "Tarot" could come from the Hindu word Taru "accumulated wisdom". While Hungarian roots lead to Tar or Torok, meaning "card game". Tarot is sometimes refered to the jewish holy book called Torah or to the latin word rota (to which a "T" was added in order to show that the beginning and the end are similar) that means "wheel of life" or to the Latin word orat (inverted taro) that is translated into "he prays". Tarota is also mentioned, while Taro means "the wheel of the law" and Rota "The law of the wheel". Maybe it's linked to the Sanskrit word Tar-ô that means "polar star" or "guide", or deriving from the Persian word Tarok that means "answer me" or from the arab word TarlQa, which translation is "way of life", or from Turuq meaning "the fours ways".

Translation: Tarot might come from many origins : Atlantis or Egyptian, Aztec, Mayan, Inca, Jewish, Chinese, Hindu, Islamic. We will probably never be able to precisely know its roots. However a fact remains, over time and space, each civilization enriched Tarot symbolism with its own understanding of the universe. It is thanks to this phenomenon that Tarot managed over centuries to survive against its opponents and to blind fanatics while keeping its meaning.

Translation: Actually, Tarot has no country or time origin. None can say that he exactly knows where Tarot comes from while its existence is proven for centuries. Its concepts have no age and are as old as human thinking. Those thoughts, carried through images, had a long journey in time and are loaded with archetypal symbolism. It is highly possible that the Tarot cards were created for a metaphysical purpose, and kept away from the ignorance of the masses, in order to save some knowledge that should not be written for safety reasons, or kept secret by the alchemists. Only the initiated ones could understand the symbolism, the language and share the knowledge.

Translation: So a legend says that more than 50000 years bc, people coming from another galaxy settled on a continent called the Atlantide Island, that was submerged because of the Flood roughly 10500 bc. Those tall superior beings, gods half gods and giants that all religions mention brought a wisdom and a knowledge coming from somewhere else. They becam the first masters of the Atlantides and started teaching the most evolved people on planet Earth : the atlanteans. Through the adaptation and the development on Earth of their wonderful knowledge, through mass education, they transformed this people into a guide for the rest of mankind.

Translation: Though their fundamental content is very ancient, Tarot cards shape is relatively recent since they propagated over Europe around the XVth century. So, Tarot game would have entered the western world (Italy in France) through bohemians " gipsies and tziganes " who reached the old continent in 1470. Coming from Pakistan, Afghanistan in Northern India, they transmitted the cosmic wisdom of the Atlantes et the esoteric and alchemic knowledge of the templars. Tarot spread widely in the following centuries, hidden from the church inquisition and power-seeking, dogmatic ways of thinking intended to reinforce the power of the authorities in charge. Thus it would be due to the Bohemians initiative, who willingly accepted to " read the good fortune " that their prime purpose, aiming at transmitting esoteric knowledge, got distorted to divinatory uses.

Translation: However, it's in France, from the end of the XVIth century, and due to the bohemian influence that people really started using tarot in a divinatory way. Marseille city became then, in 1754, an important production center. The Marseille model takes the lead, perpetuating the tradition of far more ancient masters including François Chausson (1672) ; and particularly under the aegis of Nicolas Conver, Card Master. His middle age drawings were re-written in 1760, from the existing wood molds and the colors used by ancient engravers. By the way, this Tarot, Called œTarot de Marseille is the one that represents the purest, the most ancient and the most traditional symbolism, items and colours. We should notice that the Conver factory founded by Nicolas CONVER, card master since 1760, became, through a merger the Camoin House : a factory producing playing cards and various games, that prints its favourite game : œLe Tarot de Marseille de Nicolas Conver , last representative of the ancient Marseille Card Masters Brotherhood. The Camoin House focuses on respecting, maintaining and transmitting an authentic tradition.

Translation: In addition, according to Philippe Camoin, the last inheritent of the Marseille Card Masters, new historical data could change the situation about the rise of Tarot in Western world. Thanks to the restoration work that he started in 1998 with Alexander Jodororowsky through whom he's restoring original symbols and colours of the Tarot of Marseille, they discovered a symbolic structure that had vanished with time; and dozens of new symbols generating new teachings. For example, the discovery of an egg located at the bottom of the eagle in the emperor arcane, two snakes enlaced at the feet of The Temperance also the four elements in the Ace of Cup.

Translation: According to Philippe CAMOIN, œit is the monk called Jean Cassien, founder of the St Victor Abbey in 400 ad coming back from Egypt, who contributed to the transmission of a secret teaching broadly influenced by Origene doctrine. It is clearly the order of St Victor that, in the years 1000, ruled over the territory where we will find the oldest Tarot and the oldest documents mentioning Tarot. This territory is made of Northern Italy, Southern France and Northern Spain, the territory over which the Cathars and the Templars will flourish .
Additional information from Axel:

While looking for some information about St Cassien, I met a writer / historian called Bernard Falque de Bezaure. He wrote roughly 20 books about Templars, origins of christianism, UFO,... I started reading one of those
books. I found many interesting ideas :

- 26° change in north pole location leading to the move of northern civilisation to more southern locations

- a lot of references about Danan, Dan, Danae, Dana, Anna, Anne... for example a celebration during which druids were preparing a drink bringing immortality : Danae, the Grand mother, at the time of the full moon in the Libra, is in conjunction with the celestial esculape (The Dragon), she steps on the moon disc and goes forward in the sky, preceded by the constellation of the Leo of the Alpilles. This celebration is quoted by Ovid, it happens
14 days after the Sun enters Marduck / Mars / Aries, or three days after the Pleiades enter the helic sky

- description of man-made sword shape caves where astral journey were made thanks to the use of water, magnetic stone, windows oriented towards some specific stars.

- the existence of several Jesuses : Christ Ian, Simon, John Baptist

- several description of celebrations linked to stars positions (position of the polar star within the small bear constellation, Saturn and its two moons, sunset position on the 18th of August

So, according to this latest research, St. Cassien may very well have been the originator of the Tarot for the present cycle. The connections to the Templars and Cathars, and the idea that the Tarot may convey secret knowledge I also find fascinating.
There are other things that are attibuted to "Egypt" that I have discovered do not "belong" there. But that is actually a subject for an entire book.

I didn't read Michael Tsarion's book, but his site
http://mtsar.blogspot.com/ and his suggested sister sites like http://www.taroscopes.com/home.html
feel like they all sprout from the same root with http://www.sangraal.com/.
Even sites design is strikingly similar.

"The Michael Tsarion Blog is Live and Dangerous... Mission...Opening the eyes of the world"
http://mtsar.blogspot.com/2006/02/mtsar-mission-statement.html

A-Ha! Aka Melchizedek revived.

I would put Joseph Campbell, Elisabeth Goldsmith and Heinrich Zimmer's books in one bag
to buy, read and re-read. But judging from Tsarion's site I would save money on that one.
Better I'll spend money on Horowitz's "Pirates of the sacred spiral" and prion proteins threads

I had originally posted under the title "God and Evil" not "Michael Tsarion on God and evil: Sitchin and Icke Redux." The edited title puts a negative slant on a book that warrants serious study. I would encourage you to read it and analyze it objectively. It is counter-productive to question the intent of the author as opposed to objectively questioning the content of the book.

To paraphrase this book as "Sitchin and Icke Redux" is very misleading. READ THE BOOK!
Cross-reference Tsarion's book with his selected sources and you will find interesting parallels to this website albeit from different references, angles, and points of view.

Is Tsarion's book without error? No! Could the author have inadvertantly interlaced his theories with contradictory STS sources? Sure, it happens to the best of us. I find several of his theories questionable, but going back to the driving points of the book, Tsarion raises important thought provoking ideas about our origins and the nature of evil itself which warrant further research.

Altering the title of my posting while questioning Tsarion's intent without first reading his book is not balanced or objective.

The title was edited AFTER research.

Please don't assume.

I'm not assuming. You altered the title of my posting. "Icke and Sitchin Redux" is not how I would characterize this book. If you want to criticize the author, do it in your words not mine.

If you altered my words than you have probably altered others. What appears to be an unbiased, objective, research-based site in which to gain knowledge and seek truth, is now filtered, edited, and propogandized to suit your own agenda.

Again you are assuming. I edited the title of the Thread to reflect the facts. This forum is not provided for personal opinion or for propaganda, it is for research and networking. As one of the owners of the forum, it is MY responsibility to ensure that the proper objectivity is preserved. We also, as owners of this forum, have the right to ensure that our work, our effort, our money, is not spent on advertising anything that we find does not pass the smell test. If you don't like that, find another forum where you can engage in food fights and filth and propaganda.

As for your second paramoralistic comment, you again assume. As noted: this forum is not for propaganda nor subjective opinion. If you perceive the editing of a thread title to better reflect the FACTS based on concensus research, and wish to hold the opinion that this suits an evil agenda, you are welcome to that opinion. It does not, however, reflect the facts. Please go and express it elsewhere where there is no due diligence and care is not taken to see that new age propaganda is not swallowed whole.

You may notice that there is a language filter on this forum. This automatically censors unacceptable language. Other than this, no words of any post are ever edited. Thread titles, however, are picked up by google and are, in effect, advertising. Also, links to sites that we consider objectionable may also be removed. You may not advertise propaganda on our forum. Period.

I hope you read the rules before you began posting:

Okay people! Let's be clear on some things before you join up, now I know you are aching to get in there and comment on...stuff... but before you do you need to agree to some basic rules about politeness, kindness, and not being a total psycho.

One, don't harass people, or flame them, or really make them want to flame you. Don't make blatantly pointed comments - or snide insinuations - about others on the board. If you don't like what they have to say, come out and say it, and more importantly say why.

Two, please don't post messages about your illegal pastimes and habits. Signs of the Times does not wish to appear to condone such practises, for reasons that should be pretty obvious if a little common sense is applied. If you do post such stuff, expect it to be deleted immediately.

Three, don't spam, just don't, it will be deleted almost immediately, so it's a waste of time. Spamming means sending multiple meaningless posts. If you don't have anything beneficial or informative to say, don't just join in for nothin'. Posts deemed by the moderators (who have experience with this, by the way) to be "noise" will be deleted.

Four, We have ZERO tolerance for profanity. If you aren't intelligent enough to say what you think without using language that is objectionable to most civilized people, you're on the wrong board. If you think you can be clever and circumvent the board's auto-censor, go ahead and try it. When we catch you, you'll be gone.

Five,we the moderators reserve the right to do anything and everything we see fit to ensure a friendly comfortable environment for our guests; that includes deleting you and all of your posts if you break any of these rules or act like a psychological deviant at any time past present or future. Oh yeah people, I said future, Tom Cruise has nothin' on us.

So if you are cool with this and agree, then come on in.
Read rule five over a couple of times to see where you might fit.
