Duma dismisses reports about alleged Death of President Yanukovych
_http://en.itar-tass.com/russia/721939

State Duma Vice-speaker Vladimir VasilyevITAR-TASS/Mikhail Djaparidze MOSCOW, March 04. /ITAR-TASS/. The State Duma has dismissed as "a newspaper war" the reports alleging that Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych was dead.

“What is going on now is no other than a media war," Duma Vice-speaker Vladimir Vasilyev told journalists on Tuesday. "Reports have been circulated that Yanukovych is allegedly "dead". They have obviously overdid it now, saying such things about a living person," the vice-speaker said.

"Viktor Yanukovych is not staying in Ukraine now. He was ousted from power, but Yanukovych remains the only legitimate body of power because none of the provisions of the Ukrainian constitution has been observed to oust him," the vice-speaker said.

Viktor Yanukovych dies from heart attack, unconfirmed reports say

Ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has died tonight, Ukrainian media report citing Facebook oppositionist Mikhail Lebed.

According to him, he received the information about the death of the ousted Ukrainian leader from a friend of his, who works at the heart center in the city of Rostov, Russia.

"Yanykovych was brought there at around 11 PM on March 3 after suffering a heart attack, and an hour later he died," Lebed said.

There is no official confirmation to this news. Many Facebook users are assured that the message from Lebed was nothing but a hoax.

It was reported tonight that Yanukovych had sent a written request to Russian President Vladimir Putin to use Russian armed forces to protect the population of Ukraine. This was reported by the Russian envoy to the UN Security Council, Vitaly Churkin. He demonstrated a photocopy of the original letter to members of the UN Security Council.

The Cardiological Center of the Rostov Regional Hospital denied the information about the death of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. They also said that the Ukrainian president had not been admitted to the center.

The information about the death of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych appeared on the Russian Internet, but was not confirmed. Both Ukrainian and Russian news agencies may provide contradictory and unconfirmed reports against the background of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

I don't see Putin as some diplomatic god, as people sees him in recent few days (at least where I live) but normal real life politician, who does his job in a way it is meant to be done. On the other side he has a contrast in western politicians who are so ponerized that they live literary in the world of their own, ruled by wishful thinking, and which has nothing to do with the real world (and the real world ALWAYS bites back, this way or another). Maybe that's one of the reasons why people are "in love" with Putin these days. People are sick and tired of psychopathy and although they don't know it consciously, on some deeper level they can recognize how the real world and real life should look. I think that the large scale psychopathy can be felt, but the people are so tired of everyday life, that they cant even think about it.

That could very well be it. HOWEVER, it appears that Putin is a lot smarter than just that because he is able to deal with ponerized realities in an efficient way. He doesn't allow self-importance to rule his words or actions.
He really seems to handle well to those soulless. And perhaps Putin is a balance in the upper echelons of power on this planet, against all those psycho and pathological. It would be an achievement for normal people if, in this scenario, Russia force the elite to establish peace.
I also remember a phrase of Cayce about Russia quoted in SH "In 1944 Cayce prophesied that China would one day be "the cradle of a Christianity as applied in the lives of men". Through Russia, he said "comes the hope of the world. Not in respect to what is sometimes termed Communism or Bolshevism -- no! But freedom -- freedom! That each man will live for his fellow man. The principle has been born there. It will take years for it to be crystallized; yet out of Russia comes again the hope of the world." Of course this also can be wishful thinking on my part and an incorrect interpretation.

Ukraine expects country to receive $3 bln from IMF soon, says source
Ukraine plans to receive a first tranche of financial aid from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) of near $3 billion, the Bloomberg agency has reported, referring to the source close to the course of negotiations.

The source said that Ukraine, which assesses its own need in funds at $15 billion, could receive a first tranche in coming 10-40 days.

On Monday it was reported that the Mission of the IMF will work in Ukraine from March 4 to March 14, 2014. The mission will come to gather information to assess the current economic situation and discuss reforms in the sphere of economic policy, which could become the basis for the IMF-supported program.

A total of 280 lawmakers voted for this decision on Tuesday.

According to earlier reports, Ukraine and the European Union signed an agreement on the provision to Ukraine of macro-economic assistance in an amount of EUR 610 million on February 25, 2013.

The memorandum of mutual understanding envisions the provision of tranches in the amounts of EUR 100 million, EUR 10 million, EUR 250 million, and EUR 250 million.

In accordance with the document, the first tranche will be provided after the memorandum and the loan agreement take effect and after the European Commission decides that the agreements reached with the IMF are being implemented in a satisfactory manner.

And now they want to sell our energy sector.

According to the politician, “Naftogaz Ukrainy” remains “opaque monster” and “burden for the budget.” As noted Yatsenyuk idea of privatization will stop corruption in the energy sector.

Furthermore, the Verkhovna Rada appointed prime minister said the possibility of reducing the budget, which, as it seems to be based on unrealistic performance.

«According to preliminary estimates, we can talk about reducing the state budget from 65 to 80 billion hryvnia,” - said Yatsenyuk.

February 28 self-proclaimed government warned that the Cabinet will have to ” extremely unpopular measures “because of the need to get a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In particular, the Acting Ministers have proposed to raise tariffs, abolish subsidies and curtail some social programs.

Earlier Yatsenyuk already noted that Ukraine is on the verge of economic collapse, because the treasury “looted and empty”, and the national debt has reached $ 75 billion. Also, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine estimated that in the next two years, the country will need $ 35 billion.

coup d’etat took place in Ukraine in late February, when the Verkhovna Rada ousted President Viktor Yanukovych from running the country. Acting Head of State became parliamentary speaker Oleksandr Turchynov, and the government temporarily headed by leader of the opposition party “Fatherland” Yatsenyuk.

Money for the Pocket of the corrupt or extremist and privatize the national resources, the usual rapine.
Clearly, if it come to an international agreement, the first thing is to condemn those who gave the coup and take them out of power. Also go back to all these agreements with the IMF and the EU, as it deals with a government were not elected by anyone. And then make free elections without the participation of those who have their hands stained with blood and wanted to divide the nation.
Then there is money to destabilize governments and impose other undemocratic, but no money for Greece and their pensions (and Greece followed all the IMF inhuman economic recipes). Maybe the Europeans people are starting to sick of their leaders and the big banks (especially in the south, but can be contagious to the whole continent). The promised recovery does not occur and economies stagnate. There is only propaganda to gain time. As Lagarde in Spain (guarded by the king and President Rajoy) to insist on the same old things. But anyone can see how everything actually gets worse. So on another level, perhaps it can be read as a provocation of the "winners" against the impoverished people. And that not only economically but also in rights like health and education, etc.

Yes, the programming in the US works well.

And the point is, Putin talks about people's freedom to choose their life's and region's fate, and in his answers he states facts: this and this took place, this way, and that is the history of the region, and I understand why things took this turn, but I don't understand other events, etc. What does the US government ever say that contains any morsel of truth in it, or how many times have you heard a US politician talk about another nation's history and people, as if he really knows them?

And, of course, before the english version or transcript was up, the US media went to attack his interview to influence the minds of the American citizens. Here's an example:

I had the same impression too. He comes across as a true statesman. The anti-Russian propaganda from the psychopathic politicians and media here is just astounding. They completely transform facts into digestible lies. It's mind boggling! With all of the lying and manipulations here in the U.S., it's refreshing to hear him speak. What's sad and just as mind boggling is that the people here don't seem to care very much. The Oscars are on, a new movie to see, there's a sale at wherever, a new cell phone to buy. Never mind that our government orchestrated another coup against a sovereign state and people were hurt and killed.

Yes, I find that to be a quite obvious point that gets drowned out by the western media. If you listen to the specifics of the pathological language used by primarily, the US & UK, it's the same Orwellian newspeak. On a loop. Either they think that it's enough to be quickly absorbed by the public, or they've run out of ideas. I vote both, since psychopaths aren't exactly creative. It's always interesting to hear a politician speak in a similar way to Putin, the rarity makes what's said stand out.

I was watching the live press conference of Putin on Sky news (they've got a lot to answer for) & they started interrupting him & then cut it to some other story, so, I switched to Al Jazeera. I thought it strange that the translator was really struggling with the translating & the pace. Anyway, they removed him & replaced him with someone more capable, by that point I realized that I should be watching RT, so I did. Near the end of it, I returned to Sky & the BBC to see how they would cover it. I wasn't disappointed. It was good that Putin didn't give them much to work with in terms of "spin", yet one correspondent described the whole thing as "rambling" & rammed home something about Putin addressing the "shots fired" incident earlier on.

Unless I'm mistaken, they seemed to insinuate that Putin was saying that (and I'm reading between the lines here) anyone can dress up as a soldier or official & get up to all sorts. This, they said, would be met by "many observers" as stretching his credibility. They then went on to present Kerry, Hague & co reinforcing techniques such as "crimestop" (misunderstanding simple arguments, failure to perceive logical errors & analogies. IOW "protective stupidity") & "doublethink" (holding two completely contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both.)

Laying it out as above, really emphasizes the power of ponerology in action with just those two techniques. I think this is a good point to remember:

There are benefits to the manufactured Ukraine debacle and the sabre-rattling over Russia that go beyond mere geopolitical strategy and accrual of wealth in the form of opening up a country’s internal market to predatory capitalism.

The American elite has thrived over the past 70 years because they had an ‘arch enemy’ that they could to present to the public. Having an enemy to fight against does two main things aside from actually fighting against him: it keeps the public afraid and therefore in thrall to ‘authority’ to keep them safe, i.e. it safeguards the rule of the elite over the people;

it invigorates the war industry on the basis of that fear through the production of the tools of war that generate massive profits for defence contractors and their political friends who pass through that revolving door between highly paid government positions and the highly paid positions that government creates through funding defence contractors.

What puzzels me is the reaction of quite a number of alternative media to this situation, who otherwise seemed to have known what is going on, in the past with other situations...

It just strikes me as quite strange.

That whole thing also reminds me of what the C's said about Atlantis, shortly before the fall of it and the other big power block in the world at that time who opposed and fought against Atlantis...

History repeating?

Of course. US mind control is effected and perpetuated in sound bytes and headlines and paramoralistic twisting of truth. Black is white, white is black, freedom is slavery, slavery is good, and so on. It's totally sickening.

Well, I guess you can figure in advance that MUCH of the so-called "alternative media" is just part of the NSA internet control program; Protocol 12 modernized. I've been saying that for years now and when things like this come along, then you begin to see who is really thinking and who isn't. In a funny way, it's like the smoking issue: people KNOW that their government isn't acting in their best interests in every other way, but of course, they trust them on smoking.

Latest Newsflash from CNN:

The European Union will consider sanctions against Russia if there is no deescalation in the Ukraine crisis, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said today.

Meanwhile, Russian lawmakers are working on a draft law to allow the confiscation of assets belonging to European or U.S. companies if sanctions are imposed, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti said.

I think this is a pissing contest that the US and EU cannot win. After all, Russia has all the resources it needs to have/do about anything, PLUS a good relationship with China which is where the US and EU get all their stuff! PLUS Russia can turn off the gas...

What a bunch of cretins.

RT has put up a good article on the legitmate conditions that Russian troops are allowed in Crimea which dispels any myths the U.S and U.K. have propagated.

_http://rt.com/news/russian-troops-crimea-ukraine-816/

Ukraine’s statement at the UN that ‘16,000 Russian soldiers had been deployed’ across Crimea sparked a MSM feeding frenzy that steadfastly ignored any hard facts that got in their way.

Especially unwelcome is the fact that the so-called ‘invasion force’ has been there for 15 years already.

The media many trust described in hysterical tones how the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was under a full-scale Russian invasion with headlines like: “Ukraine says Russia sent 16,000 troops to Crimea”, “Ukraine crisis deepens as Russia sends more troops into Crimea,” as well as “What can Obama do about Russia's invasion of Crimea?”.

Facts, and ardent statements by top Russian diplomats were totally ignored by the western ‘war press’.

Russian UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin pointed to the longstanding 25,000 troop allowance while FM Sergey Lavrov stressed the Russian military “strictly executes the agreements which stipulate the Russian fleet’s presence in Ukraine, and follows the stance and claims coming from the legitimate authority in Ukraine and in this case the legitimate authority of the Autonomous Republic Crimea as well.”

1) A Russian naval presence in Crimea dates to 1783 when the port city of Sevastopol was founded by Russian Prince Grigory Potemkin. Crimea was part of Russia until Nikita Khruschev gave it to Ukraine in 1954.

2) In 1997, amid the wreckage of the USSR, Russia & Ukraine signed a Partition Treaty determining the fate of the military bases and vessels in Crimea. The deal sparked widespread officer ‘defections’ to Russia and was ratified by the Russian & Ukrainian parliaments in 1999. Russia received 81.7 percent of the fleet’s ships after paying the Ukrainian government US$526.5 million.

3) The deal allowed the Russian Black Sea Fleet to stay in Crimea until 2017. This was extended by another 25 years to 2042 with a 5-year extension option in 2010.

4) Moscow annually writes off $97.75 million of Kiev’s debt for the right to use Ukrainian waters and radio frequencies, and to compensate for the Black Sea Fleet’s environmental impact.

5) The Russian navy is allowed up to

- 25,000 troops,

- 24 artillery systems with a caliber smaller than 100 mm,

- 132 armored vehicles, and

- 22 military planes, on Crimean territory.

6) Five Russian naval units are stationed in the port city of Sevastopol, in compliance with the treaty:

- The 30th Surface Ship Division formed by the 11th Antisubmarine Ship Brigade. Comprises the Black Sea Fleet’s flagship guard missile cruiser Moskva as well as Kerch, Ochakov, Smetlivy, Ladny, and Pytlivy vessels, and the 197th Landing Ship Brigade, consisting of seven large amphibious vessels;

- The 41st Missile Boat Brigade includes the 166th Fast Attack Craft Division, consisting of Bora and Samum hovercrafts as well as small missile ships Mirazh and Shtil, and 295th missile Boat Division;

- The 247th Separate Submarine Division, consisting of two diesel submarines – B-871 Alrosa and B-380 Svyatoy Knyaz Georgy;

- The 68th Harbor Defense Ship Brigade formed by 4 vessels of the 400th Antisubmarine Ship Battalion and 418 Mine Hunting Ship Division respectively.;

- The 422nd Separate Hydrographic Ship Division boasts the Cheleken, Stvor, Donuzlav and GS-402 survey vessels and hydrographic boats.

7) Russia has two airbases in Crimea, in Kacha and Gvardeysky.

8) Russian coastal forces in Ukraine consist of the 1096th Separate Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment in Sevastopol and the 810th Marine Brigade, which hosts around 2,000 marines.

9) Russian naval units are permitted to implement security measures at their permanent post as well as during re-deployments in cooperation with Ukrainian forces, in accordance with Russia’s armed forces procedures.

Authorities in the Ukrainian Autonomous Republic of Crimea – where over half the population is Russian – requested Moscow’s assistance after the self-proclaimed government in Kiev introduced a law abolishing the use of languages other than Ukrainian in official circumstances.

Last week, Russia’s Federation Council unanimously approved President Vladimir Putin’s request to send the country’s military forces to Ukraine to ensure peace and order in the region “until the socio-political situation in the country is stabilized.”

However, the final say about deploying troops lies with Putin, who hasn’t yet made such a decision, stressing that deploying military force would be a last resort.

The important part in this respect comes around 7:10.
The way I hear it, Paet does'nt say that the snipers were hired, it says the new government does not want to investigate, which is what the Estonian foreign minister finds troubling. What I read elsewhere was that according to the new law they made on the 22. of Ferbruary they did not wish to prosecute those who had killed police, so who killed the protesters is perhaps not important for them, or worse they know who did it and wish to hide it.

There is another version of the recording which is bit longer because the process of getting through is also there:

Of particular interest were the words of the head of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which refers to medical data Olga Pilgrim, renders medical aid to the victims on the Maidan, about snipers shooting at people in Kiev.

TALLINN, March 5 - RIA Novosti, Nikolai Adashkevich. Estonian Foreign Ministry confirmed the authenticity of the Internet appeared in recording a call, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton, concerning the events in Ukraine, said on Wednesday the press service of the Estonian Foreign Ministry .

Paet and Ashton conversation on February 26, after a visit to Ukraine Paet. During the meeting, Paet said that he learned at the meetings in Kiev, and expressed concern over the situation, the press service.

Of particular interest were the words Paet, which refers to medical data Olga Pilgrim, renders medical aid to the victims on the Maidan, the snipers shooting at people in Kiev.

"More Olga said that, according to all available evidence, the people who were killed by snipers on both sides, with the police and people in the street, it was the same snipers killing people on both sides," - said Paet.
According to the Minister, Pilgrim showed him photographs relied on the opinion of doctors who talk about the same handwriting style bullets.

"And all the more wary of people is the fact that the new coalition are unwilling to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident. Rapidly growing understanding that these snipers was not Yanukovych, and behind them was one of the new coalition," - said in a conversation with Paet Ashton.

The minister is not ready to comment on this entry, saying that he needed to look at it. "It is unfortunate that such wiretapping conducted at all. This conversation today downloaded (Internet) is not accidental," - said Paet.

Paet is embarrassed, but I thank him nevertheless for bringing it up.

The snipers who shot at protesters and police in Kiev were allegedly hired by Maidan leaders, according to a leaked phone conversation between the EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton and Estonian foreign affairs minister, which has emerged online.

UPDATE: Estonian Foreign Ministry confirms authenticity of leaked call

“There is now stronger and stronger understanding that behind the snipers, it was not Yanukovich, but it was somebody from the new coalition,” Urmas Paet said during the conversation.

“I think we do want to investigate. I mean, I didn’t pick that up, that’s interesting. Gosh,” Ashton answered.

The call took place after Estonia’s Foreign Minister Urmas Paet visited Kiev on February 25, following the peak of clashes between the pro-EU protesters and security forces in the Ukrainian capital.

Paet also recalled his conversation with a doctor who treated those shot by snipers in Kiev. She said that both protesters and police were shot at by the same people.

“And second, what was quite disturbing, this same Olga [Bogomolets] told as well that all the evidence shows that the people who were killed by snipers from both sides, among policemen and then people from the streets, that they were the same snipers killing people from both sides,” the Estonian FM stressed.

Ashton reacted to the information by saying: “Well, yeah…that’s, that’s terrible.”

“So that she then also showed me some photos she said that as a medical doctor she can say that it is the same handwriting, the same type of bullets, and it’s really disturbing that now the new coalition, that they don’t want to investigate what exactly happened,” Paet said.

Olga Bogomolets was the main doctor for the Maidan mobile clinic when protests turned violent in Kiev. She treated the gravely injured and helped organized their transportation to neighboring countries, who had expressed a willingness to treat those with severe wounds. From the outset, Olga blamed the injuries and deaths on snipers. She turned down the position of Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Humanitarian Affairs offered by the coup-appointed regime.

The Estonian FM has described the whole sniper issue as “disturbing” and added, “it already discredits from the very beginning” the new Ukrainian power.

His overall impressions of what he saw during his one-day trip to Kiev are “sad,” Paet said during the conversation.

He stressed that the Ukrainian people don’t trust the Maidan leaders, with all the opposition politicians slated to join the new government “having dirty past.”

The file was reportedly uploaded to the web by officers of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) loyal to ousted President Viktor Yanukovich who hacked Paet’s and Ashton’s phones.

94 people were killed and another 900 injured during the standoff between police and protesters at Maidan Saquare in Kiev last month.
