I'm filled with such sadness in a place that
does not even have mandatory mask actions yet, when people out of pure fear and ignorance take up the masked mantel without even been told...little by little, like an infection, it spreads, and yes Gaby and Andromeda, nothing good will come of this.
The most sad thing to see is the utter confusion and fear on kids faces - they ask, why don't they wear them mom and dad, and why do we have to? Mom and dad can only push out words to them that, well they are not being considerate (i.e. the enemy). The parents have free will and have made a choice and they, as uninformed childminders, force that choice on their little ones. I have to say that of all the things currently seen in regards to masks, this is a struggle to behold.
In places where everyone 'must' wear them - this is another matter, and it irks me the decrees made on children. It is especially callus.
The thought that the masks are causing brain damage is really sad. I don't have much sympathy for the morons driving or even jogging (!) while masked up. But grocery store workers, for instance,
are forced to do so for several hours a day ... it's that or unemployment. And I know a lot of them know just how stupidly counterproductive masks are.
I work in a store, and we were also forced to wear not only masks, but also goggles. And this is a crazy thing when combined. Glasses fog up instantly, it is impossible to see, it is impossible to breathe. But we only wear it when visitors come in, although often we have to wear them for a very long time, and we all really feel dizzy, painful, weak and nauseous. And cashiers from supermarkets, postal operators and other similar workers are forced to wear masks, glasses and even gloves all day. And this despite the fact that in my region in summer the heat reaches +45 degrees Celsius! The average temperature is usually +35.

For all the reasons in so many places cited on the forum, though, these masks are a clear and present danger to life and health. To evoke meaning it needs to be evidence based to counter what has no efficacy to being with, and they can't show masks as having efficacy (although they will try with 'droplets'), and they can't make argument for mask use when it is applied to a hierarchy of controls - they are choosing the lowest form of control that creates the most risk -

If and when workers start to exerciser their rights, and it may not be easy, it may draw attention that other workers will see, it probably would draw attention from their families, and it might bring measures to light that can't be hidden in the press. The bigger the employer and the more employees the better. The stronger the union and worker grievances the better. Health orders by state cannot ignore (again they will try) a challenge of this type when health laws counter health laws, and the challenges are not taking place at the workplace level that can be seen yet.
