In line 72 it says "Record of 7.6 feet of snow crushes Toronto", it seemed extremely odd to me so I checked the SOTT article where it says 19.4 cm of snow, not 2.3 meters.

Yes, this is a mistake.
The translations can be easily fixed. Just update the table and fill either the font or the specific box with a different color once it is done or just report back here, and then I know, that I can change the subtitle accordingly. So far it is Czech and French that needs to be changed.
