Just saw the first 3 eps... The 3rd episode was a great Romp. (Dr. Who fans, keep an eye out for a shout-out in that one.) ;D

I haven't watched any Dr Who, but I am just curious: what was the shout out? I did see the third episode, so I might remember the scene. Thanks.

To me, the fact that 'Guy Mann' would hibernate about 10,000 years at a time was a reference to Dr. Who's 'Silurians' (mostly from the classic era of the series) - who claimed to be the original sentients of Earth, and some of whom would occasionally wake up and start plotting to regain control of the planet.

Episode 3

A few bright spots of humor... Its a twist that the human gave the reptile its mind, but then again, since the predator gave its mind to humans there really isn't any conflict going on there. hmmm. I had a small shock to the system as cannibalism was also alluded to in this story....yuck. That also seems to be a theme coming up lately.

Awww. Look at the poor, misunderstood Lizard monster. How wonderfully cute and disarming.

Yes. Being disarmed is a great idea.

Please, folks, let's not forget that we have enemies and they want to torment and eat us so badly that they are actually bending time and the very fabric of reality around us just to ensure that we walk obediently into the lunch-meat machine.

[/b]This X-Files bullshit appears to have taken a hard right into Disclosure Project land. Friendly aliens, people, Space Brothers, and don't you forget it!
[/b]
Seriously. We're on the cusp of massive changes, and the Dark Side knows that a whole tar ball lot of us who are interested in this subject are going to be paying attention to this mega-popular TV show. I know I am. -So when they make you feel fuzzy, warm emotions, to NOT have that happen with directed purpose would represent a huge wasted opportunity. I suspect that's unlikely.

Also.., I've noticed a strong trend in popular media. The solution to stress is Drinking! Gosh! Simply ALL the cool kids are doing it. Keep an eye out for that not-so-subtle message. It pops up half a dozen times in every popular TV show. Looks like somebody wants us stupid and discombobulated.

TV sucks.

On the bold part above, I just watched this well made video yesterday made by a member here, Spiral Out, which addresses the friendly alien, disclosure, and the reality of aliens in our midst, or at least the mainly negative variety that dominates around here. Highly recommend this if you haven't seen it. _http://youtu.be/M-Ss-HIhixw

TV does indeed suck. Such a very effective mind control method if one isn't aware. Yea, lets see how this very popular program will be used. Interesting exercise in discernment and looking below the surface. What will we find? The warm fuzzy, friendly reptile/alien meme has been going on for awhile now, nothing new with that.
edit. my "bold" didn't take, humpf.

Thanks for the link! I've seen it before I believe, but it never hurts to review.

Interesting!

Also.., sites like that make me realize that I forget sometimes (thanks to exercising the "Strategic Enclosure" technique to good effect), just how many terribly peculiar people and general creepy crawlies there are rattling around out there... Brr.

Last couple of eps are back to shlock mode... ok, not sure that's a word.... but banal entertainment at best... but what stands out is mostly her performance regarding their child, she gave up for adoption to prevent it falling into the hands of the unknown whatever forces of Purgatory... she's a good dramatic actress, but the dude seems have picked up where he left off, without any growth or development at all... a perfect sleepwalker with eyes wide open! It's amusing to see him pretend to act. It's always more entertaining when the actor is younger as well as us watching it... but like any relationship, after awhile, you expect a wee bit more than the same ole routine, but there's no sense waiting for ice cream to get squeezed from this carrot. Hopefully, one of the future few eps will bring life back to this seemingly dead and nearly forgotten form, but I feel time slipping away and only she seems to notice. It's hard to imagine they ever had a relationship, but then things happen on the way to the Forum, don't they? ;D

The last episode was pretty interesting!

The garbageman seems like a mothman/spring heeled jack character that pops up to avenge the group he represents, the homeless. He represents that those who are treated like garbage, but instead takes out the trash, those who mistreat them.

There were commercials saying that there were only a few episodes left?!
I'm a bit disappointed that they were selling a series that was going to go deeper into the conspiracy and already the season is about to end and they went back to the piecemeal crazy stories "cult classic" type of show.

Yeah, and he was the pseudo-physical manifestation of the artist's emotions.

Yep, it was only ever going to be 6 episodes. Too bad, as it looks like the writing took a few episodes to develop.

From the first announcements about it, they said it was going to be pretty much half mythology and half monster-of-the-week. When the show first aired I liked the mythology episodes more; now I think I like the standalone ones better. Guess I've read too many UFO books, because I can't help but thinking, "Naw, it's not like that!"

I think episode 6 will be the continuation of episode 1. So far episode 3 has been the best in this season, quite funny. In any case I do prefer stand alone episodes to the "mythology" episodes not only in this season, but even before. Having to follow a story through several episodes is annoying.

FWIW, the "trashman" fit the mold of a classic Jewish folklore Golem.

Clay super-hero of the Biblical under-trodden. (the "Torahnical"..? Heh.)

I wonder if this is an indicator of who is behind the curtains on this production..?

Also.., I am reminded of ...

Session Date: November 7th 2015

Q:(Galatea) Ya know the story about Elisa Lam, the girl in the elevator who was hiding from something. Then she went out to talk to it, and she started waving her hands weirdly. So, I wanted to ask what did she see or what was she running from?

[ Elisa Lam Elevator footage https://youtu.be/3TjVBpyTeZM ]

A: Golem!

Q: (Galatea) It looked like Gollum?

(L) It's a Jewish monster.

(Pierre) Made from mud.

(Galatea) It was actually a mud monster?

A: Close.

Q: (Galatea) Must freak you out to see that!

(Perceval) Did she herself climb into the water tank?

A: No

Q: (Perceval) How did she get into that water tank?

A: Spacetime distortion.

Q: (Atreides) But a golem is an instrument of revenge created by someone to kill or protect somebody else. So, if it's a golem, who sent it and why was it targeting a Canadian Chinese girl in Los Angeles?

A: Target practice. There is a reason that Galatea thought of it at this moment.

Q: (L) So, we're talking about some kind of thing that blows open realm curtains?

A: Yes

Q: (L) And things come through?

A: Yes

Q: (Atreides) So nobody sent the golem after her?

A: Not specifically.

Q: (L) So, it's just kinda like mothman or something.

(Approaching Infinity) A golem is this Jewish myth kind of thing, and they said target practice...

(L) Don't get stuck on the Jewish myth thing.

(Approaching Infinity) Yeah, but we've talked about energy weapons, and target practice. And Mossad...

(L) Golem, Kabbalists...

(Chu) And two girls missing due to spacetime distortion...

(Andromeda) And funny enough, me and Perceval just watched an episode of the X-Files about a golem a few nights ago.

(L) Oh my god!

(Andromeda) And last night it was about an airplane crash due to alien interference!

(L) Okay, creeped out now... Well, we're gonna...

I downloaded the entire series about two years ago just to watch the mythology episodes mainly. I was surprised that something so close to the truth would be shown on TV. Yes, they don't go into the hyperdimensional aspects of it, we're still dealing with essentially 3D aliens albeit a bit more mysterious than in other alien invasion plotlines, but what would you expect of something written for FOX network?

If you recall the old episodes, the real threat seems to be the Black Oil, which is a sentient goo that subsumes intelligent life to its will. Then you have the alien rebels that mutilated themselves so that they wouldn't become possessed. To me, the Black Oil was symbolic of some sort of transcendent STS thought center and the rebels were an opposing force to that dynamic since they didn't agree with Colonization. Perhaps their self mutilation was symbolic as well and represents some sort of conscious suffering to overcome the evil influences, but the series never makes it quite clear. I got the feeling Chris Carter knows a bit more than he lets on, but can only push it so far if he wants to keep his job, plus he has to dumb it down to be comprehensible for the average American audience.

I was quite surprised that they brought the show back, considering how 9/11 pretty much closed the circle of mainstream media propagandistic control of everything, and Chris even presented that directly in the first episode. FOX must be getting desperate for money and they decided they had to put something a little less vapid on air to boost their bottom line. I was a bit peeved at the "there is no alien conspiracy" line taken in the first episode, but I figured it was just a plot twist like has been employed in earlier seasons to make Mulder believe that aliens don't exist and to abandon his quest; keeping the audience in suspense. I'm eagerly awaiting the 6th episode to see if FOX brought the series back just to lure more open-minded and aware people down a dark alley of the so-called disclosure agenda.

I was also a little disappointed that the 1st episode is yet to have a conclusion and has taken the whole conspiracy into another realm. i don't mind the stand alone episodes but always enjoyed the longer narrative versions. I was kinda hoping this season of X-files would be like the first season of true detective, mini series drama but alas it is not. Here's to hoping the last episode at least concludes the first episode. Was surprised they dropped the 9/11 false flag in the first episode. Was pretty surprised they would be allowed to do something like that on tv.

Overall, its pretty standard x-files in a way. Its interesting though in its respective ways, what it could potentially be informing the 50 million viewers about.

Yeah me too. When watching the second episode, I was wondering if they would continue that story. And I was asking, "Well what about such and such?" I think I prefer having a drawn out story because it unites all of the episodes. Still, it's a pretty good run.

I personally wasn't that taken by the 1st episode - there was too much black and white thinking around the discussion about conspiracy theories, though I quite enjoyed the 3rd one and the 4th was ok too but I definitely agree that it would be good if they developed the stories further.

This week's (5th) episode has a lot to ponder: the unexplained mysterious trumpet sounds, multiple uses of the term "woo-woo", and an at-face-value Islamic terror plot theme running throughout the episode. This does seem to be the perfect vehicle to keep everyone chasing their tails; enough little tidbits for those "in-the-know" to be able to say "I see what you did there" while vectoring the masses off in useless directions. It wouldn't surprise me if there was an agreement with the FOX higher-ups that they could refer to 9/11 as a false flag as long as they "de-bunked" it by the end of the episode and then had an unironic Islamic terror episode later. Or maybe it was supposed to be ironic for those in-the-know, but you only get the irony based on whatever level you're operating at.

This new series seems co-opted to me. -I don't know, though. I find my Red Flags go flapping on a hair trigger when it comes to broadcast TV. There may well be more than one single influence moving through this attempt at feeding information to the public mind.

But at the moment there seems to be a bit of a push to kill popular conspiracies, to really tamp down the official weed into people's pipes.

-That Stephen King time travel, "Let's stop the JFK assassination" story has been turned into a TV series. "11.22.63"

If you've read that book, then you know that King has cleaved tightly to the official story; Oswald was nuts, worked alone and there's nothing strange to see here. -Also, Kennedy HAD to die, in order to preserve the health of the space-time continuum.

I guess it pays to be a propagandist. Merit and skill as an author does not assure success. Lots of people have merit and skill. The media picks who wins, and it seems many super-popular creative media darlings are shilling for the Beast. -Or are useful idiots who have been fed corrupted channel "inspiration".

It still burns me to think that Lucas could have done so much good with those unfortunate prequel Star Wars movies. I'm fairly certain he suffered from STS 4D attack; had his brain addled to prevent his highly politically relevant films from being well made or resonating correctly. And now the Rat owns the franchise and put J.J. Abrams, the king of media fools, in charge, with crippling results. What a cultural tragedy! Star Wars has been transformed from powerful metaphor into a meaningless daydream for sleepers.

I think the Wachowskis were similarly addled and hampered.

I can't imagine somebody like Chris Carter will have been overlooked!
