Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?

I know we are all hoping for the best with Trump and recognize the extreme circumstances he is faced with to accomplish real change that benefits humanity as a whole. I also have to recognize the idea of Trump as a savior is maybe the backbone of this hope - a very unrealistic idea it would seem. We know the Cs said the US is past the point of no return - and for sure our karma is as bad as it could possibly get - but the Cs also said humanity has one last chance. Did we make that point by electing Trump in a landslide? I guess I'm not ready to abandon hope just yet even though I know a cosmic change is already happening. I'm not sure what to expect, just the clarity and strength to endure whatever plays out. It does help to think the good guys at least have a chance with the return of Trump. Wait and see.

Yeah, he said this during the Rogan interview, how he kept Bolton around because it was good walking into a talk with foreign leaders with a nutjob.

Basically, he has to throw the establishment a bone with some appointments, but the hope is that he will control them and fire them if they go off script. Some are pointing out that even with all the neocons in his first administration, he didn't start any new wars.
Could be, although Trump admitted that he made many mistakes in hiring people in that interview. Not sure if he was completely serious with his comment about Bolton or if it was more in jest.

I remember how after getting Bolton during his previous term, the media (for once, correctly) criticized Trump for hiring a warmonger. Then after Trump fired Bolton for being a warmonger, the same media were up in arms about how "Trump has finally lost it, and fired the only voice of reason left in the administration"..

You know you've got an issue when MSM are praising Trumps picks. Here in the UK news it said on the sky channel, western leaders will be pleased with the Rubio pick.
Anyway, it's very early days and without doubt there will be surprises on the way. Interesting times not a clue what will happen! I read earlier that the Houthis had attacked an American aircraft carrier. Havent found anything to verify that yet.

But maybe it's just a way of blaming everything on him.
It's not simply blaming coming from Democrats, Trump supporters were making memes about that!

Finally, AI Biden:

Ffter that MAGA hat thing that Biden did before the election, i think yes, there is truth to this. He really didn't want Kamala to win, and with so much negativity and oppositon coming at her from within and without the Democratic party, they just couldn't flip it this time.

It's certainly a 5h of November to be remembered, although for much better reasons than i expected. :-P

Yeah, he said this during the Rogan interview, how he kept Bolton around because it was good walking into a talk with foreign leaders with a nutjob.

Here's a similar take on X:

Basically, he has to throw the establishment a bone with some appointments, but the hope is that he will control them and fire them if they go off script. Some are pointing out that even with all the neocons in his first administration, he didn't start any new wars.

Well, it is in line with his personality of being "transactional". I really do wonder sometimes if makes explicit deals with the PTB: "Ok, I'll appoint Bolton, but I get free reign to drill for domestic oil."

Trump announces former Gov. Mike Huckabee nominated as ambassador to Israel

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has been nominated to serve as the US ambassador to Israel, President-elect Donald Trump said in a statement on Tuesday afternoon.

“Mike has been a great public servant, governor, and leader in faith for many years. He loves Israel and the people of Israel, and likewise, the people of Israel love him,’ Trump said. “Mike will work tirelessly to bring about peace in the Middle East!”

Huckabee is a former Southern Baptist pastor and a former Trump challenger who ran in the 2016 presidential election.

Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, reacted to the news on X, posting “Mike Huckabee” with an American flag, a heart, and an Israeli flag.

This is the next US ambassador to Israel: Mike Huckabee says Israel 'should control' the West Bank

...The next U.S. ambassador to Israel will be Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas who ran twice in the Republican presidential primaries for the presidency, President-elect Donald Trump announced Tuesday. Huckabee will replace Jack Lew, who was appointed by President Joe Biden.

Huckabee ran in the 2008 Republican primaries and lost to John McCain, and eight years later lost to Trump. Huckabee is identified with the evangelical Christian right in the United States, and defines himself as a great supporter of Israel. He is an evangelical minister by training, and served as a political commentator on the right-wing Fox News.

In 2015, while running for the Republican Party's presidential nomination, Huckabee visited the ancient West Bank site of Shiloh, the site of the biblical tabernacle. "Judea and Samaria are an inseparable part of the State of Israel and everyone needs to understand that. Anyone running for the presidency of the United States should visit here," he said while at Shiloh, using the biblical designations for the West Bank.

In an interview with Ynet at the time he said that "Israel needs to control Judea and Samaria". He said, among other things, that Jewish settlement is "a factor leading to regional peace."

The Hebrew version has also this:

Shortly thereafter, Trump announced that his envoy to the Middle East would be Jewish-American real estate magnate Steve Witkoff. Witkoff is Trump's golfing partner, and was by his side during his second assassination attempt, in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Wikipedia:

Political positions of Mike Huckabee

Huckabee calls Israel an "ally", "America's greatest friend in the region", and says Israel should have access to advanced weapons and technology. He is a Christian Zionist politician, and has written that, "the Jews have a God-given right to reclaim land given to their ancestors and taken away from them."

Huckabee opposes the notion of Palestinian statehood in the Holy Land, and has stated that he supports creating a Palestinian state outside of Israeli territory. He named Egypt and Saudi Arabia as possible locations to move the country. Huckabee encourages West Bank settlements which are illegal under international law, and has gone so far as to deny Israel's existing military occupation in the region. In 2017, at an event in the West Bank, he stated: "There is no such thing as a West Bank - it's Judea and Samaria. There's no such thing as a settlement. They're communities. They're neighborhoods. They're cities. There's no such thing as an occupation."

Huckabee first visited Israel as a teenager, and has returned numerous times since then. During some of his visits he expressed his support for Israeli settlements in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, stating that Jews "should be able to live in their own country."

He has advocated for the release of convicted Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard.

America First or Annexation First? Punch-drunk Israeli Ministers Have Big Plans for Trump

Even before the President-elect picked Mike Huckabee to be his Israel envoy, far-right minister Bezalel Smotrich and other post-election partygoers in Israel were openly talking about Trump's second term as an opportunity to permanently 'take the land' from Palestinians

It seems to me that the US Envoy to Israel will serve as a duplicate of Israeli Envoy to the US: instead of representing US interests in Israel, he will present Israeli interests to the US. Real estate magnate picked for a diplomatic mission to the ME also sounds suspicious, given the well known commercial plans for Gaza, WB and Lebanon.

I wouldn’t say Catherine Austin F. Is pessimistic ever. She is just realistic and firmly grounded - and reality is pretty grim at the moment.
While I agree with most of her views, I do think that she is too pessimitic regarding Trump and his intentions - as I said in the other thread, she thinks that he staged the first assassination attempt.

Another possible upside to the Rubio pick. DeSantis gets to appoint his replacement in Congress, with a good chance of that pick being elected in the next cycle. DeSantis will choose a Trump loyalist, if only to enhance his own political future.

...and after the new, more amenable senator takes office, Trump can fire Rubio!! A two-for-one! Maybe he could do that with all his RINO and Zionist congressional appointments - talk about 6D chess!!

First real surprise/out of nowhere pick: Fox News host Pete Hegseth for Sec. of Defense  At least he's not, from a quick check, a neocon. Trump says he's America First. Apparently he recently wrote a book where he denounces the "warped, woke, and caustic policies of our current military." He has two bronze stars from serving in Afghanistan.
