Watched it and it was pretty refreshing and balanced. It looks like he delivered the full speech pretty much like a statesman. Also interesting that he again presented ordinary people with different circumstances, problems and hardships publically to make his points.

Looks like he is getting in the groove of statesmanship. Let's see.

I agree. It was definitely a more regal version of Trump than the fumbling Tweet-tastic one we've been seeing this far. And, though a teleprompter no doubt plays the starring role in that, Trump was still true to his campaign rhetoric and highlighting the successes he's made.

Of course he's still harping on about the 'Israel-US love affair' shtick, and slamming Iran. But he can talk all he wants, 'cuz while US and Israeli cretins want to 'bomb bomb bomb Iran' that country is currently armed to the teeth by Russia and China.

So maybe Scott Adams was close to the truth, and we'll now see Trump's 'systems thinking' as he starts to iron out the wrinkles.

If you see the world in terms of goals, you might think President Trump has failed at every important goal so far. He didn't get what he wanted on immigration. He hasn't gotten his Supreme Court nomination confirmed. He hasn't replaced Obamacare. He hasn't defeated ISIS. He hasn't done a lot of things he said he would do. He even had to fire General Flynn. President Trump is a big ol' failure when it comes to goals.

Maybe that's because Trump just started on the job. Success generally comes after you start. If you think success comes before you start, the world probably looks confusing to you.

But in any case, as I often say, goals are for losers. Systems are better. As I describe in my book, a good system is something you do every day that leads you to better outcomes, not specific objectives. For example, going to college is a good system even if you don't know what job you might later want. Any time you learn something valuable, that's a system. Networking with important people is a system. And so on.

Trump seems to be a systems thinker. I doubt he knew he would jump from real estate developer, to author, to reality TV star, to president. At least not in that order. Instead, he systematically accumulated money, persuasion skills, and personal connections until he had lots of options. Being president was one of them.

Now the world watches as an entrepreneurial systems-thinker with no government experience takes over the White House and tries to learn on the job. How did you expect that to go?

I expected some broken dishes, some firings, some chaos, and some rookie mistakes. We got all of that. But I also expect a systems-thinker to tame the chaos over time as he learns on the job.

From: Scott Adams on Evaluating Trump: Forget 'incompetence' and 'chaos' - Trump's system-thinking will smooth things out in time

Diversify your senior team adding Cynthia McKinney and Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader and Jesse Ventura in some capacity will strangle the extreme left and open up the middle. Take your diversified team on the road 50 states in 30 days.

I think the Trump Channel idea might be good. But I question suggesting these individuals. Jesse Ventura was(is) often interviewed by Alex Jones. He definitely comes off GO America but buys into to much conspiracy cointelpro. Nader and McKinney were from Democratic beginnings and the Green Party. I don't think this resonates with the more moral conservative demographic that elected Trump. Nader is a has been IMO. Big in the 70's. I had him on a flight I worked about 10 years ago. Not an impressive individual. Dennis Kuchnich? Not sure where he stands on what his views are. JUst my two cents.

At least Russia is aware of some of the obstacles placed in front of Trump, limiting his ability (in some cases) in instituting reforms.

Russia's detractors in the US Congress are trying to organize something in the likes of an economic blockade through a bill that might not allow US President Donald Trump to ease sanctions against Moscow, Russia’s deputy foreign minister, Sergey Ryabkov, has warned.

Russia's detractors in the US Congress are trying to organize something in the likes of an economic blockade through a bill that might not allow US President Donald Trump to ease sanctions against Moscow, Russia’s deputy foreign minister, Sergey Ryabkov, has warned.

“Our detractors in Congress are trying with all their strength to destroy any seeds of positivity in Russia-US relations. In January of this year, they introduced a bill providing for the codification of sanctions imposed on Obama’s orders so that Trump will be unable to lift them on his own will. Moreover, it proposes to expand and tighten restrictions, and even attempt via blackmail to force other countries to follow them. This is essentially organizing something in the likes of an economic blockade of Russia,” Ryabkov said in a speech at the State Duma.

“For now this idea is brewing in the apparatus of relevant Congressional committees,” Ryabkova said.

“But,” Russia’s deputy foreign minister continued, “the adoption of such a law cannot be ruled out. Given the domination of anti-Russian sentiments at the Capitol, American legislators seem capable of overcoming a hypothetical presidential veto. We are not overdramatizing the situation. We understand that Trump and his appointees need time to debug the work of the foreign policy unit and clarify priorities. But we are attentively analyzing, recording, and considering all signals coming from Washington. We will judge things only by deeds.”

Trump Announces 'Victims of Immigration Crime' DHS Program
http://katehon.com/news/trump-announces-victims-immigration-crime-dhs-program

Wednesday, 1 March, 2017 - Trump revealed the creation of VOICE, Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement, during his first speech before the Senate and House of Representatives on Tuesday night. The new program, which he said will "provide a voice" to families of crime victims, will publish a weekly list of crimes committed by immigrants.

Families of people killed by undocumented immigrants have been "ignored by our media," Trump claimed when announcing VOICE.

The list, as The Independent points out, resembles Breitbart's "Black crime" listings, which reports crimes committed by African-Americans. He did not specify whether VOICE will distinguish between crimes committed by documented or undocumented immigrants. The recently-inaugurated president also promised to construct a wall alongside its southern border with Mexico.

But immigration wasn't the only topic Trump covered.

His speech, which began at 9 p.m. Washington D.C. time, also focused on economics, foreign policy, and uniting the divided country.

“I am here tonight to deliver a message of unity and strength," Trump said. “A new era of American greatness is now beginning.”

On economics, Trump promised to cut taxes for business owners while increasing spending on infrastructure. He said he is planning to ask Congress to approve US$1 trillion spending in infrastructure financed through public and private capital. He also said he is going to lower the cost of health insurance.

On foreign policy, Trump reiterated his "unbreakeable" allegiance to Israel while announcing sanctions for those connected with Iran's Islamic Revolution. He also said he strongly supports NATO, but said “America” must today be friends with “former enemies.”

As for his comments on a "divided America," Trump claimed "we are one people with one destiny" who all salute "the same great American flag."

There have been numerous reports that Hillary and Senator McCain have used foreign aid programs and USAID to help support various terrorist groups, first in Yugoslavia, then in the Middle East (Iraq, Libya, Syria and Ukraine). Trump just cut-off some of their funding and (partner in crime) Sen. Lindsey Graham is having a hissy-fit!

Trump Proposes Cutting State Department Budget By 37%
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-02-28/trump-proposes-cutting-state-department-budget-37

One month ago, a media frenzy broke out after the WaPo reported of mass voluntary resignations at the State Department, to protest the arrival of Rex Tillerson. Shortly after, it was revealed that not only was it not a “mass resignation” (there were only four high level resignation) but it was all procedural, meant to streamline the transition from one administration to the next.

However, the bloodbath at the State Department – for years Hillary Clinton’s kingdom, and populated with many pro-Clinton staffers – may have been merely deferred because as AP reports, the Trump administration is proposing deep cuts in spending for diplomacy and foreign aid programs to help pay for increased military spending.

Officials familiar with the proposal say it calls for slashing more than a third, or 37%, of the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development budgets. Development assistance would take the biggest hit.

In the current fiscal year, the State Department and USAID got $50.1 billion, a little more than 1 percent of the total federal budget. As AP sources add, a 37-percent cut would likely require reductions in staff, including security contractors at diplomatic missions abroad.

As the WSJ adds, people familiar with the deliberations said the Trump administration is examining the growth in spending by the State Department during the Obama administration, including that caused by the addition of special envoys, though they said that would not cover the proposed cuts. One U.S. official said that the State Department is looking at development assistance to other countries as a significant source for the cuts.

Word of the proposed cuts met with swift objections from Republicans and Democrats.

“That is definitely dead on arrival,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) told reporters Tuesday, saying the proposed State Department budget “puts our diplomats at risk.” (Better translated - Can't skim "Million's" from the top - to pad an over sea's personal account.)

Trump is sure to meet similar push back from other US agencies as the threat of money being pulled away becomes all too real.

The mainstream media narrative is all about the people versus Trump, the Democrats versus Trump, and even the Republicans versus Trump! But what is scarcely being reported is the Democrats versus the Democrats, or more specifically the Democrats versus Obama’s shadow government. You see, rather than retiring peacefully or giving corporate speeches for his corporate overlords a la Hillary, Obama is continuing to work behind the scenes to undermine the Trump administration; and even the Democrats are getting sick of it.

Democrat Leaders Turn On Obama and His Secret Shadow Government
https://thelastgreatstand.com/2017/02/28/democrat-leaders-turn-on-obama-and-his-secret-shadow-government/

In the following video, Right Wing News looks at the OFA, the community-organizing machinery from the former president’s election campaigns that still exists today. This shadow organization answers directly to Obama and Democrats feel that it is costing them votes. What are the implications when a former president is secretly working to undermine the current, democratically-elected one?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evDKGWQ_ZBs (17:11 min.)

WND reports: Barack sparks civil war within own party

First, the Democrats got clobbered in the election by the Republicans.

Now they’re squaring off against each other in a civil war.

This political Gettysburg pits the Democratic Party base against the Obama machine called Organizing for Action, or OFA, the community-organizing army left over from the former president’s election campaigns.

How bitter is the battle? Two Democratic operatives recently called OFA “The Devil.”

When former President Obama issued a call to arms to his OFA troops in order to protect his legacy, particularly Obamacare, Stephen Handwerk, executive director of the Louisiana Democratic Party, wrote in a private email to fellow party leaders, “This is some GRADE A Bulls–t right here.”

He added, “It also to me seems TONE DEAF—we have lost over 1,000 seats in the past 8 years … all because of this crap.”

The email was obtained and then published Friday by the Daily Beast, which reported: “It is difficult to overstate just how enraged state Democratic activists and leaders are with Organizing for Action.”

How powerful is OFA?

Just a week ago, WND’s former Washington bureau chief Paul Sperry portrayed OFA in the New York Post as an army “gearing up for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across the country” manned by 32,525 volunteers nationwide, run by old Obama aides and campaign workers armed with his 2012 campaign database.

Sperry called it Obama’s “army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.”

Sperry warned Obama would be “working behind the scenes to set up what will effectively be a shadow government to not only protect his threatened legacy, but to sabotage the incoming administration,” and that “it’s drawing battle lines on immigration, Obamacare, race relations and climate change.”

While watching, for some reason I was brought to the focus of, unity vs separation. I guess because I see more and more, that that summarizes our battle. Slowly during the speech, it resonated to me that what he was talking about was about the people coming together, and fighting the wrongs of society and embracing the victims of those wrongs. A sort of rudimentary, crude, social memory complex type of thinking. If one part hurts, then all parts feel the pain, and all parts are marshaled to attack the problem and fix it. On specific points he is still wrong, or uninformed in my opinion, but you could say he has the right foundation to tackle problems. OSIT.

2/3 days ago he shared an article of infowars about how aggressive China is by bolstering their defences in the South Chinese Sea. Did those folks of Infowars ever wondered about the fact that it's a Chinese coastline, not a US coastline. But of course, Infowars is still also about those evil commies lurking everywhere.

Infowars paid for this American guy (Tim Pool) to boldly go where no anglophone has gone before... Sweden's no-go zones! He's putting up vlogs about his visit to Malmo. Based on what he's uncovered so far, I'd have to say that this has backfired on them...

In the above video, notice this exchange at around 6mins 30secs, when Pool and his companion are walking around a Malmo 'no-go zone':

Pool: So we're walking around Rosengard, it's uh... kinda boring. We don't really expect anything to happen [Er, yes you did: you expect riots and rapin' on the streets because that's what you were told was routinely going on there]. We wanted to check out the neighborhood because of lot of people were saying that if we didn't go, we somehow weren't doing our job. I don't know what you'd expect to happen here; it's just a neighborhood. They call it one of the problem areas [that's 'no-go zones' in the alt-right], but there's just a bunch of people walking around, some old people shopping... If I were to compare this to Chicago... [here we go], I would laugh.

Pool's companion: You know what the most dangerous part about this is Tim?

Pool: What?

Pool's companion: The ice on the ground.

Pool: There it is, yeah... they don't salt.

In this next one, he's given a tour around one of the 'no-go zones' by a local councilor, then meets some of the locals:

A Youtuber comment under the above video said:

"Getting the average persons opinion is all well and good, but facts and showing the consequences are better."

But that was the whole point of this guy going there! All media and government statistics were deemed unreliable, so they decided to go there to hear from the people living there. But now that local testimony doesn't turn up the data they expected, it's back to quoting our favorite 'statistics'!? :headbash:

And finally, here's his most recent one, an interview with a Muslim (and once a refugee himself) and a native Swede, 'trapped' inside a 'Swedish no-go zone':

Note that this young family (including what looks like their daughter too) is living in a decent, modern apartment in the middle of one of Sweden's 'no-go zones'. They're apparently free to be a mixed couple (and he no doubt the inspiration for that Quranic verse on their wall!) in a neighborhood that is allegedly under Sharia Law! As you can see from Youtubers' comments, they're not at all happy that the picture presented didn't meet their expectations.

Maybe the most serious problem for Swedish government is that Swedes are deliberately overtaxin' themselves

Sweden's government has a bizarre economic problem — it is collecting too much tax

The Swedish government is being forced to refund billions in taxes after Swedes deliberately paid too much as a consequence of the negative interest rates being implemented in the country.

According to data released by the government on Wednesday, Sweden ended 2016 with a budget surplus of 85 billion kroner (£7.6 billion, $9.5 billion), and about half of that was due to individuals and businesses paying more tax than they needed to as a means of actually making money.

...

With interest rates in the country at -0.5%, holding cash in bank accounts and other savings vessels provides little to no return and in many cases actually costs people money.

But thanks to the way Sweden's taxation system is set up, Swedes can earn interest by paying more tax than they need to and leaving it in their taxpayer payment accounts. These accounts pay interest of 0.56%, far in excess of bank interest rates in the country.

Weird...

Nice one on the overtaxing.

Meanwhile, in the USA, a working class person ends up paying MORE for taxes + healthcare than what someone pays in France or any other Western European country that has good medical and retirement benefits!

I'm not thrilled with Trump's oversimplication of the health care issue being caused by Obamacare (AKA ROMNEYCARE). He mentioned having a separate pool for high risk. You think if you or your family member had or has a big risk of cancer/etc they will give you a low rate? The past open market crap medical system we had in the USA was notorious for charging ridiculous amounts, or giving coverage and then later not paying due to a "pre existing condition".

As much Trump is a businessman, maybe he should not treat medicine as a pure business/insurance market. You can't shop around when you are sick/hurt and need the care. The corruption of the pharmaceutical/medical industry here should be prosecuted or regulated. Use a threat of a single payer system as a bargaining chip.

Apparently, according to _https://www.dlfa.dk/Arrangementsarkiv/2017/3/job-i-malmo/ there are 5000 teachers in Malmö, 800 unqualified and 280 jobs for which they need teachers at this very moment. In fact they are now trying to get Danish teacher so move to Malmö. I was wondering if the lack of teachers could be explained by the statements of Tino Sanadaji:

Tino Sanandaji was quoted in https://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic said:
Stockholm, the capital, is a bit of a segregated city as it’s difficult for immigrants to move there given the higher cost of living. The ones who do tend to be the well integrated immigrants. Actually it could even go the other way because you could see a very strong “white flight” from towns that are becoming dominated by immigrants.

Research shows that the tipping point for that flight to occur is very low: after 4% of non-European immigrants the native Swedes start to move out. This is arguably an even worse segregation problem than in the US. At the same time, there is a fascinating study that shows that if you ask the average Swede if it is important to live in a multicultural neighborhood most of them say yes. Actually, the ones who moved away from those neighborhoods are even more likely to respond positively.
Did the teachers they had move away?

Thanks Niall for bringing those videos up about the Sweden. I'll will have a look at them later. So it seems whatever "happens there" is at best a cross exaggeration, or more likely not much more then hot air, similarly to what we have seen with the cologne "mass lewdness" by refugees on new year.

I also find it interesting that this supposed "rape thing" and "no go zones" "is happening" in Sweden and Malmö, of all places! If there is one country or place commonly known in europe (common perception of the country by people) to be pretty much down to earth and not effected by crime and violence, then it is Sweden and places like Malmö. It is pretty much the last place any ordinary people in europe would think of in regards to crimes and restrictions like that.

Maybe that is the reason why the PTB picked Sweden in the first place, for this "terrifying reality of muslims/refugees and what they do to innocent Swedes"? Like: "If it happens even there, nobody is safe in europe/world from evil muslims/refugees".

I enjoyed the CrossTalk video. Thanks for posting. It's a positive view amid the many negatives. In the most recent BTH the point was made that Putin and Trump are the moderates. They don't want to start wars and want negotiation. A very sound and sensible way to make friends with the world. The fact that this is so blatantly turned on it's head by the deep state opposition and Hollywood should really give the public pause as to who has their best interests at heart. It seems so obvious.

The photo of the White House and the UFO Kremlin is so juvenile and Holloweeny when one is paying attention to the facts. It doesn't send the message they intend when you've still got a few brain cells to rub together.

I saw a cover of TIME magazine yesterday that showed Trump sitting at a desk with the wind blowing his hairpiece sideways with the caption NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Continual dumbing down the liberal masses. There's an infinite amount to see! How to keep up on it all is the problem.

An added note on Trump's speeches. I think my favorite was the one he and Melania gave in Melbourne,FL for the rally. It was really endearing. I thought. They always deflect the attention from themselves to the American people they represent, as was done at the Joint Adress of Congress. Humbling,IMO.

It’s clear that Pelosi doesn’t want to be there in that speech. Even funnier is the fact that the Democrats’ official response was by the former Kentucky Governor (who was replaced by a conservative Republican).

But what’s going on with her face?

There were many shots of very uncomfortable people. Pelosi was definitely one of those, and I noticed McCain and Graham, sitting side by side, (are they ever apart?) looking like their dogs just died. Close shots showed many standing ovations that looked universal, but later wider shots showed many sitting on their hands. Pelosi was shown many times doing just that.
