Trump tweeted this morning (3:30am EST) that Obama had Trump Tower wiretapped this past fall sorta like Watergate. Called Obama "Sick/Bad" for doing so. Obama spokesperson denies that Obama or the White House authorized the tap, but doesn't totally deny there was a tap. Might have to do with Trump/Russia "ties". Crazy if true.
Thus far, Trump has offered no proof of a wiretapping. Not sure where this is going to go, but it's going to be a heck of a ride as it's becoming increasingly clear that Obama, the Deep State and a Soros-backed shadow army are attempting a coup against Trump. _https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-alleges-wire-tapping-obama-during-campaign-130507502.html
Added: Just finished reading a good article on the situation preceding Trump's latest tweets today: https://www.sott.net/article/344356-Washington-and-America-Implode-at-the-Hands-of-a-Treasonous-Obama-Led-Shadow-Government
There was a reputable person on FOX news last night saying she'd heard from a contact of hers who'd been part of the Bush Administration. Her contact said that Obama had definitely wiretapped Trump. Obama's statement was very lawyerly, saying he nor White House staffers had ordered a wiretapping of Trump. Legal experts say this is a meaningless statement because the president could never order such a wiretap anyway.
Such a request would have to be submitted to a FISA judge by the FBI or some other appropriate agency, which would definitely brief the president first, according to a former agent speaking on FOX. Further they would have to provide documentation to that judge demonstrating probable cause to the extent that guilt was almost certain, and the wiretap was needed only to obtain undeniable evidence, which is why, statistically, very few FISA requests are ever denied (and presumably, few targets of such wiretaps escape prosecution).
That's where this current drama gets interesting. It's been reported that a first request to a FISA judge was turned down last September, but that second one was granted in October. So that shows there was a weak justification for the request to wiretap Trump, that somehow morphed to become more convincing by October. Attorneys say the evidence presented to a FISA judge can easily be manipulated because there's no cross-examination or other type scrutiny of it. And seems like I heard them say that the justification for the request was to "do due diligence" vs. "probable cause". (The standards differ between FISA requests related to criminal activity and espionage concerns.)
Also lending credence to the Obama/Clinton plot is the fact that one of the many last-minute actions taken by Obama prior to his departure was to enable all intelligence agencies to share among themselves any information one of them obtained via FISA requests.
So after finally getting permission to wiretap Trump in October, they apparently found nothing to support their suspicions, because if they had found evidence, we can sure that would've been front page news. In other words, Obama's wiretap actually blew up their faces (or is blowing up now) because it proves Trump has no collusion with Russia. But still, knowing that, the Obama/Clinton/media cabal repeatedly pushed the narrative of a Trump/Russia conspiracy.
So this latest development has enormous potential to establish beyond any doubt--or media spin--that:
1- Obama (and by association, Clinton) seriously broke the law/manipulated the FISA judge to spy on a political opponent in a manner much worse than Nixon did with Watergate
2- Trump has no ties to Russia, is not a puppet of Putin, etc.
3- Obama (Clinton) have deliberately made accusations they knew were unfounded about Trump's ties to Russia
4- Mainstream media got it all wrong--again.
Bottom line: Obama/Clinton/media are wrong, and Trump and his "deplorables" are right.
Maybe this will make Obama and Clinton finally exit the stage and fade into obscurity; and all those Soros-funded fake protesters and MSM talking (empty)heads finally quit making noise. Or maybe I'm dreaming.
[And of course, the wiretapping Gen. Michael Flynn's communications, and the Congressional office of then- Senator Jeff Sessions both sound alarms about intelligence gathering being used as a weapon against American citizens. Memo to Libtards and Snowflakes: that's what real "fascism" looks like.|[And of course, the wiretapping Gen.
