UK election surprise: Manchester terror attack (and others)

If the logic is to scare people into voting for Theresa May, one thing we can do is help people see that the Tory government is at least indirectly responsible for terrorism. If people knew that the whole thing would backfire on the UK deep state. So I've been trying to spread far and wide on FB and Twitter this article by John Pilger:

https://www.sott.net/article/352811-Terror-in-Britain-What-did-Prime-Minister-May-know
original here: http://www.counterpunch.org/2017/05/31/terror-in-britain-what-did-the-prime-minister-know/

And this interview with Pilger in which he basically explains the same connections:

Most election campaigning in Britain has been suspended following the terrorist attacks in London - the second such attack since UK Prime Minister Theresa May called a snap election, due June 8, in an unprecedented move in recent history.

UK Election Campaigns Suspended for Second Time After London Terror Attacks
https://sputniknews.com/europe/201706041054296038-uk-election-london-terror/

* Theresa May called the snap election — which was not due until 2020 — in order to gain a greater mandate to go into the Brexit negotiations with Brussels.

* However, since the election was called, Theresa May's lead in the opinion polls has slipped for a 24-point lead to single figures, with the latest poll showing Labour with a three percent lead, before turnout is taken into account.

* Three terror attacks in three months have hit Britain, with two of them occurring since the snap general election was called, bringing a halt to most national campaigning for the second time — an unprecedented situation in recent political history.

* Traditionally, the incumbent prime minister gains in a time of national emergency. Margaret Thatcher benefited from the 'Falklands effect', after Argentina invaded the British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic in 1982.

With the current opinion polls showing Theresa May's Conservative Party neck-and-neck with Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party, the threat of terror in the UK is rising to the top of the political agenda. Although election campaigning will be suspended until June 5 — Theresa May will be sure to show "strong and stable" leadership in the light of the latest terror attack. "Strong and Stable" is the motto of her election campaign.

UK Independence Party Refuses to Suspend Campaigning Despite London Attack

UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader Paul Nuttall stated that the party refused to suspend national campaigning ahead of the parliamentary election on June 8 despite Saturday's deadly London attack.

Labour, Scottish National Parties Suspend Campaigning After Attack in London

The UK Labour Party and Scottish National Party (SNP) have suspended campaigning in the United Kingdom ahead of Thursday's parliamentary election after the deadly incident in London.

The Labour Party will be suspending national campaigning until this evening, after consultations with other parties, as a mark of respect for those who have died and suffered injury," Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn was quoted as saying by The Independent newspaper.

The newspaper added that Scotland's SNP had also canceled national campaigning after the attack.

The Muslim terror meme is the largest and most successful gaslighting operation we have ever seen.

It is like clockwork now and nobody really seems to get it.
1) Carry out a terror attack
2) Have mainstream channels preach tolerance, sadness, and potray a weak pathetic 'soft on terror' image.
3) Let the right wingers get rightfully angry and direct all that anger towards Muslims as a whole.
4) Let the fear and 'grass-roots' anti-muslim sentiment spread and fester for a while.
5) Repeat

Eventually the common people are gonna be begging for their 'soft on terror' rulers to finally get rid of the Muslim problem.

It's devious and cunning in such a way that it is impossible for most humans to figure out.

And despite all the talk about remaining strong and united in the face of terror. As we can see from the Italy thing, it is not true. People are terrified.

Eventually it will be like a pavlovian dog thing where all they have to do to disrupt a protest is drop a few firecrackers.

It really is a horrible picture when you see it.

Very well said Carl, this was my exact feeling and conclusion when i saw yesterday all those people getting so EASILY panicked for a false allarm, it seems the programming of the masses through transmarginal inhibition techniques has worked pretty well. The most scary thing for me was seeing all those people scared to death, running everywhere, loosing the mind because of fear, it's a very dangerous situation, but the sad fact is that, most of the people are ignorant of what happens behind the curtains of the political arena, are ignorant of such topics as psychopathy and the great impact they have on all areas of our society, because of the lack of this important information they get easily manipulated and can be led by the psychopaths towards whichever outcome they want to. It's pretty depressing and discouraging seeing all this ignorance allaround, you share information on social networks and most of the people don't give a dime...

I noticed one of the recent Well Publicised arrests was in a key Marginal seat.

Jeremy Corbyn gave a speech on the recent terrorist attacks, the highlight being a call to have talks with the Saudis and Gulf states regarding the issue of funding extremists! As well as putting Theresa May on the spotlight for the refusal of the Home Office to publish a report on foreign funding of extremism. It was refreshing to hear that from a public figure, but it was also a clever move, as it turns the tables on the (presumably) desired effect of the attacks of stimulating the Tory campaign.

It is almost universally felt that when we call a country democratic we are praising it; consequently, the defenders of every kind of regime claim that it is a democracy, and fear that they might have to stop using the word if it were tied down to any one meaning. George Orwell

Key Arab league states, including Saudi Arabia, have cut ties with Qatar over supporting terrorism. Big hypocrites those Saudis, and most interesting timing!

London Fortifies Bridges to Protect Pedestrians From Attack (Video)

London police on Sunday evening said commuters could expect to see more officers on the streets and more physical measures on bridges, after at least three men killed seven people at London Bridge on Saturday. That followed a similar attack in March on Westminster Bridge, near the Houses of Parliament. A police spokesman declined to say how many locations are being fortified, but at least three of the of the dozens in the capital are already visibly altered.

Commuters today saw uniformed police officers at Tube stations around London, an unusual sight for a city where officers are less visible on the streets than in other major global cities.

“Our security and policing plans for events are being reviewed, the public will also see increased physical measures on London’s bridges to keep the public safe,” said Mark Rowley, an assistant commissioner at the Metropolitan Police Service.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan had told residents not to be “alarmed” at the increased police presence, drawing criticism from President Donald Trump.

On March 22, a man drove a car up onto the sidewalk across Westminster Bridge toward Parliament as part of an attack that killed six people.

U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May on Sunday said the uncoordinated attacks months apart were evidence of a new form of copycat attacks.

“We believe we are experiencing a new trend in the threat we face, as terrorism breeds terrorism,” she said. “Perpetrators are inspired to attack not only on the basis of carefully constructed plots after years of planning and training—and not even as lone attackers radicalized online—but by copying one another and often using the crudest of means of attack.”

Was CNN Caught Staging Fake News? Network Trots Out Anti-ISIS Muslims In Scripted Outrage After London Attacks (Video)

Update 2: Same protesters, multiple locations?
Being one of the more inept tentacles of the deep state, CNN was apparently caught staging Fake News in the aftermath of the ISIS claimed London attacks which claimed 7 lives and injured 48.

While ISIS supporters are celebrating the attacks, MSM propagandists have been hard at work pushing the "religion of peace" narrative - trotting out hijabbed women and a child to hold signs expressing Muslim outrage at the terrorist attacks.

You decide,

Well, the image and video aren't very clear. However, I would be willing to bet that it was a psy-op, just not in the 'crisis actors' kind of way suggested by the video.

If you look at the officer highlighted in the photo/video, his beard is red and he's very pale. The man lying on the ground though is tan and his beard is jet black. Two different people if you ask me.

I wasn't really sure where to post this but it's related to the Manchester/London attacks and the imminent election.

Since Saturday when I found out about the London attack I've had a Significant drop in energy and been hit with bouts depression. I can function as normal and haven't showed it to my family but it's real sadness. I know all the events that have happened are depressing So to be expected I suppose.

Since Monday I have virtually had no energy. Every night I have had intense, vivid dreams linked to the terrorism events and it's been pretty weird. I wonder if anyone else had felt like this? It's probably a normal reaction to the horrific atrocities we've had to witness. It just seems a little more intense than normal

I hope that Corbyn wins the election but I can't see the PTB letting this happen. I've also had the thought what can he really change if he does win. All in all the future doesn't look very bright for all on the planet.

I think there is something in the air for sure, so probably best to be extra vigilant. Apathy, hopelessness, and despair seem to be the preferred tools of the PTB - so it's possible those feelings are by design.
All of those can be overcome by networking and helping others that are feeling the same.

I think the fight and helping others is more important than the outcome. And that positive outcome tends to be non-linear and not what we ever expect.

Along those lines (and I'm not going to read too much into them) we had these potential symbols yesterday:

Conservative party billboard van overturns in the wind overturns on M6

Van was delivering message about Brexit while driving along M6

Social media users mocked the Tories' "strong and stable" slogan after a party advertising van overturned on a windy motorway.

Nobody was injured in the accident.

The van, which displays the words, "For the best Brexit deal vote Conservative on 8th June", turned on its side as it was driving north along the M6 between Lymm and Woolston.

Motorists consequently faced long delays, a 30 mile-per-hour speed limit was put in place and emergency services attended the scene.

Highways England was made aware of a fuel spillage by the accident.

After it was clear that there were no injuries, as reported by the Warrington Guardian, Labour councillor Faisal Rashid added: "It seems as though the fate of this wagon is telling us all something!

"Clearly it is neither strong nor stable and is a symbol of Theresa May and the Tories' weak and wobbly campaign."

People on social media were also keen to make jibes at the Conservatives.

"Oh god this is too perfect - a 'strong and stable' Tory ad van that had been driving round town blew over on the motorway," tweeted one user.

"May's weak and wobbly campaign's crashed, an overturned Tory 'best Brexit deal' Ad Van shutting the M6. It's a sign!" said another.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 10.10am this morning police received a report of an overturned van on the Thelwall viaduct M6 northbound.

"An advertising van had overturned as it crossed the viaduct blocking a lane. No one appears to have been injured.

"There is disruption to traffic in the area and it is advised to use alternative routes until the carriageway is clear."

Ms May has urged voters to choose Conservatives to "strengthen her negotiating hand" when it comes to two years of talks over leaving the European Union.

In most polls her party has a significant lead over Labour, despite the lead narrowing over the past seven weeks.

With just 36 hours to go before polling stations open, Jeremy Corbyn gave an impassioned speech to a crowd of thousands in Birmingham. The event was also livestreamed on Facebook, where its audience hit 40,000 viewers. And as he delivered his message of hope and doing things differently, two rainbows appeared:
DBqVe9eXsAAupGs.jpg

“We are community”

Corbyn gave a strong and emotional speech. But the vision of hope and difference he gave in the last two minutes was stunning. Corbyn addressed the crowd:

Look around you here tonight in Birmingham… Look at each other. Look at your faces. Look at who we are. We’re young. We’re old. We’re black. We’re white. We’re gay. We’re straight. We’re men. We’re women. We’re everything. We are community.

And he described what has happened to the Labour Party:

And you’ve got a popular movement. You’ve got people coming out because they want to do things differently.

Corbyn also had a clear message for what we need to do in the next 36 hours:

Have those conversations wherever you go. Ask people what kind of country, what kind of world, what kind of society they want to live in. Do they want us to go down the road of the greater gap between the the richest and the poorest? Do they want to go down the road where our public services are underfunded?

Moving

But Corbyn was most moving when speaking about how we can do things differently:

There’s a human warmth in all of us. There’s a sense of community in all of us. There’s a sense of creativity and caring in all of us. Let’s work together to win the election… Let’s work together across the whole country. To show them our programme is real, serious, and here. And we are real, serious and here… We are gonna change things.

Something different

Corbyn has brought something new and different to this election campaign. He’s brought integrity back into parliamentary politics. It’s seen in what he says and also what he doesn’t say. He hasn’t engaged in personal slurs and mudslinging. And his message is really reaching people, as Channel 4 News journalist Michael Crick pointed out:

DBqH8YhXUAAakR1.jpg

@MichaelLCrick

Corbyn rally, Birmingham tonight. He has probably addressed bigger meetings in 2017 than any leader since Churchill

And Corbyn is right. We need to spend all the time left until the polling stations close talking to people. Everyone needs to get out and vote. This speech, hours before the election, is an indication of just how much Corbyn has changed politics. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to vote for something different. Please take it. And please make sure everyone you know takes it.

So hope vs hopelessness.
How do you balance the knowledge of the media bias programming in people's minds and potential election rigging against that?

I remember feelings generated by Mr 'Hope and Change' Obama.
We invest in an outcome emotionally (in a leader), then we despair, then we invest in someone else (to take away the despair).

Finding the "give it all you've got" to help someone like Corbyn win (not investing in the 'leader/hero/savior' directly, but what he stands for - flawed as it is), whilst holding in mind what he's up against can be helpful I think.
This is non-anticipation, I think.

I agree, I felt pretty down on the day of the London attack, I think it's natural to feel this way when it is "so close to home" Thebull. Alot of people are freaking out right now, I've been told stories of people not sleeping at night because they are so scared of the jihadi's, people cancelling holidays etc, so its possible that we're picking up on these feelings.

One thing I made the mistake of doing initially was trying not to feel upset atall about the attacks, I was trying to be overly logical and tell myself: "these emotions are exactly what they (the PTB) would want me to feel so I'm not going to feel them", which was silly because it was denying my basic human reactions to such atrocities, it's only natural to be upset when you can see someone else suffering, unless your a psycho! I think the issue arises when our ability to critically think becomes impaired, and we cannot begin to understand why they are happening and who's behind them. See the paranoia switch for more information on this: Limbic Warfare and Martha Stout's "Paranoia Switch".

My line of thinking is similar to Redfox's, and I just posted this on Facebook:
Whatever happens tomorrow one thing for sure is that people's interest in politics has surged, people's awareness of the inequalities that we face in the UK, even though it's a first world country, seems to have expanded. It has also highlighted the ugliness, selfishness and corruption of the establishment. And for me personally, Corbyn has been an inspirational character, he embodies qualities such as perseverance, integrity and compassion and honesty that I strongly admire.

In the UK we have been provided with a once in a lifetime opportunity in my opinion. I have never in my lifetime(not long I know) seen a politician like Corbyn. If he doesn't get in, I hope that it has at least created a ripple effect and planted seeds for the future. And for the last time: #votelabour

It's important to try and remember in these times that we have a choice everyday, every hour, every second, about how we live our lives, how we interact with others, the things we do and say, and ultimately which force we want to align ourselves with. If nothing will change on our big blue marble and it all goes to pot, at least we can try and send a signal out there to the universe. :hug2:

What I find interesting about this election is that a lot of my FB friends from the UK are posting about wanting to vote for Labour, while a few others are saying that both parties are useless, but no one has openly stated that they support the Tories. And this considering that many of these same people were openly supporting the establishment candidates like Clinton, Macron, 'Remain' etc.

I realise that they represent only a tiny fraction of the voters, but I wonder if it's not a sign that there are many more supporters of Corbyn than we would expect, potentially more than those actually voting to leave the EU...? I'm not holding my hopes high about a Labour win though - the 'reality creators' will have likely taken extra steps to ensure they get the result they want. But, you never know...
