Ultra Simple Diet

I think the main reason the veggies are thrown out is because their nutritive value is no longer in them, it is in the broth. Once the veggies are strained of liquid, most of the healthy stuff in them goes with the liquid.

Is there any reason why the veggies can't be cooked for say 20 mins and then liquidised in a blender?

If it can be done that way, then can you experiment with other veggies? I boiled carrots, onions and sweet potato and salt and pepper the other day which wasn't too bad. And I even used it on a meal instead of gravy. :D

I just want to know about honey, because I've always heard that honey is very good for many things, and do not see it included in the Ultra simple diet.
Is there any reason not to sweeten with honey?

I guess that one of the advantages of drinking the 'original' broth is that you get the maximum amount of nutrients in just a little dose. My own experience with this is that having a 'super compact' liquid broth makes it more convinient to take, especially when you don't have the time to sit down and eat a lot of veggies. Sometimes I take some broth with me in a bottle, it's like an energy drink! ;)

Hi jhonny,

What Is Candida?

Candida albicans is a harmless yeast that naturally lives in everyone's gastrointestinal tract, mucous membranes and on the skin. It lives there in a symbiotic world in a healthy person's body. When your body's ecosystem becomes imbalanced Candida overgrowth can occur thus allowing it to attack any organ or system in your body.

Hi jhonny,

Hope you find all answers in link related to candida, I made anti candida diet 6 months ago and feeling much better, all together with detox and EE breathing lead to amazing results, both physically and emotionally, if you are interested in ultra simple diet, it would be much more effective to start with anti candida diet (if test on candida is positive).

Candida Home saliva test

1. First thing in the morning, before you put anything in your mouth, fill a clear glass with room temperature bottled water (w/o CO2).

2. Work up a bit of saliva, and spit it into the glass of water. Check the water every 15 minutes or so for up to one hour.

3. If you see strings (fibers) traveling down into the water from the saliva floating on the top, cloudy specks (particles suspended in the water) or cloudy saliva that sinks to the bottom of the glass you have a candida problem.

Best Wishes :).

Hi Ljubica, I think this 'spit test' was discussed elsewhere on the forum and found to be inaccurate. I'll see if I can find the thread later when I have a moment.

The spit test was discussed in the Candida thread, here - http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=9796.msg122310#msg122310

Thanks folks, for the link, I've been on pretty rigorous candida diet for months, because of saliva candida test :headbash:, it could be such a relief if I know this in January 2010

Dear jhonny, please disregard, saliva candida test and stay well.
