They should respect the wishes of the medical decision maker for a patient If they go against it, that could be construed as assault and possibly there would be legal recourse?CONCERNING THE FLU SHOT
On the same subject, my mother-in-law is at last stage of Alzheimer, and even though we made a point of signing papers where WE ARE TOTALLY AGAINST the flu shot, we heard through the grapevine of workers at the home where she is living that they more than likely gave her the flu shot against our decision?
It would be surprising to find out if our wishes are respected in such situations? (My partner has asked access to her mother's file, in order to get to the truth in his matter). I will update when we get a solid answer. (This is a legitimate concern for those of us who have either experienced directly or indirectly the harm caused by these willy-dilly - never the right strain - of flu shots.
