What's the weather where you are?

Here in Croatia the last two days was a storm, some 17C but I see that it begins again to be warmer. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

@ Lat 50 in BC, it was report to me that Aug 03 @ 1700m +/- the ponds and puddles froze hard. This was followed by hot weather until Aug 24th when a system dumped snow on the mountain tops of the Rockies and Purcell's. Weather has now cooled (down to +4c at night @ 640m). Observations also reveal that some of last winters snow has not melted and likely won't.

Started planning early for firewood.

The last day of August saw SNOW on the mountains around Turin! At altitudes as low as 2000m. Six weeks of baking heat and stagnant air ended in a weekend of truly autumnal temperatures, incessant rain, dark skies, and strong winds.

Today I feel strong negative energy and polarity in the air. All day a one big headache

We're slowly coming in Autumn here in North Yorkshire; the temperate is slowly but surely dropping, and the sky is getting a bit more orange at night. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary apart from a couple of very sudden, very intense downpours a couple of weeks back.

Yesterday there was snow in the Pyrenees (South West France) too. 5 cm snowfall was recorded at 2000 m in Ariege (Eastern Pyrenees).

The temperatures reached -1°C at 2000 m and - 5°C at 3000 m.

We have now the first snow here (in Germany) and what is a bit strange, that still the trees have also leaves on, so that many trees and bushes did break or collapse, since the snow is wet and heavy too (and caused some power outages in middle Germany). Some news-sites say it is not common and may happen every 30 or 40 years, where other sites start the: there's nothing to see here lines in the end of an articles. And within one week the temperature dropped from 20°C to 0/-1°C.

Snowing in north east of France too. Two days ago it was 20°C, now snow, cold wind and all .. ew brrr :scared:

yeah it is weird especially those extrems in such a short period of time, but this seems to be constant pattern this year though. in short strange weather.
here is what I wrote in another thread a hour ago regarding the weather currently where I live:

We didn't have snow yet (more northern Germany), but the drop from 20°C to 0/-1°C as mentioned by Gawan, came really sudden. The wild geese, who're assembling every year near our place before they fly south, are however still here, one can even hear them at night. (Really love this time of the year with them around - and sad each time they leave). So I don't know whether they, too, were taken by surprise by the sudden temperature drop.

If this winter is going to be harsh, it's going to be interesting to see how infrastructure will hold up around here. I remember one very harsh winter a few years back and sometimes public transport (trains) would just collapse, or you'd have to wait for hours. In recent months the public transport in the city had lots of delays because of "signal disturbances" - just mentioning it, because I did wonder whether there's any relation to general changes in weather/atmosphere.

No snow yet but last night the temperature dropped significantly. Today, cold wind was present.

Really love this time of the year with them around - and sad each time they leave
Even more beautiful when they return.

In Buenos Aires has been raining since August. Maybe we have one or two sunny days and then rain for 3 or 4 days in a row. Not quite usual for the season.

It just started snowing here!(coast of south Croatia) I was outside smoking when I noticed something strange falling from sky and it turned out to be snowflakes. It's very small amount and it melts on landing but it's very strange considering we had unusually warm weather the whole November. This whole week temperatures were above 20 degrees Celsius including today. I am even wearing summer t-shirt right now and not feeling cold and it's midnight here.

When I told my grandma she didn't believe me cause we had warm weather and even when I showed her she said it's flies that always gather around street lights and went back to bed. But she can't see very well without her glasses so that was probably more believable to her then fact that it's snowing when we have warm weather.

It's barely a few flakes but it's strange nevertheless, I think. And it's still on. :D

The weather here, Spain, is crazy like the people. Very cold days, nights minus 0 and during day around 5 or 6 celcius and suddenly very warm days, around 10 and today we expect 18 celcius. Not normal at all!

Here* for once it is a bit back to normal, cold nights (around zero more or less) and the days when sunny are around 9 to 10°C which can warm up if facing the sun.

Wait & See :)
