Yup here in Spalatto del Dalmazzia we're having the Best Summertime April like - ever. Bache Beach is crowded with tourists and local youth. And not only there but i hear people are bathing all over The Eastern Adriatic Coast. Officially saewater temp is 19°C but it is rather colder away from shallows...

The third warmest April ever ended with a thrust of severe thunderstorms moving from South to North over the country, causing widespread flooding especially in the South-East (Limburg province) but also elsewhere (Amsterdam, Zaandam, Rotterdam and Tilburg among others).

Yesterday we had a couple showers with some thundering in Split, Dalmazzia which finally interrupted The April Heatwave - but in between those it was very hard to breath, under that low overcast canopy... Today the air is not so heavy on lungs and Boorah (Hoorah! Hoorah! Hoorah!!!

Again, the Netherlands had to cope with plenty of rain especially in the North-Eastern part of the country. In Drenthe they received an entire month's worth of rain in a single evening.

Another Heat wave just ended this morning in Split, Dalmatia - after short storm with thunders and little rain. Inner Croatia saw some pretty serious storms than here, but no significant damages reported. Temperature, on the other hand has dropped significantly (almost 10°C) and will stay like that during days to follow. Accordin' to meteo services The Summer will be back at the end of week...
Weird, almost no rain fell where I live and we could do with some rain. Everything is dry here and the dew in the mornings has already evaporated. I used to like the heat. Not anymore. But as Laura said it will change.

In Southern Scandinavia, May has been like Summer. The old record for the average temperatur willl be broken by almost 1 degree Celsius. The exact numbers are still to come, but have a look at the temperatures in Europe for May 29, 2018 at 14:00 local time listed by ww..gismeteo.ru/maps/eur/temp/ Spain and Southern France is colder. It must be a major imbalance.

It's been raining and hailing on a daily basis in Spain, along with thunderstorms and power outages. The forecasts are not promising either.

It always starts out fairly nice in the AM. But can and has turned quickly with cooler temps and lots of rain, as it is now at this local.
The snow is on the melt within the mountains with some rivers running high.
