What's the weather where you are?

At the top of Hawai'ian Paradise Park ('HPP') internet connectivity just returned short of approximately 1 week. The whole 'Puna' area has been quite devastated as a whole and "Hawaiian Beaches", for example, where I used to be, is reportedly going to take weeks for any services to return. Most of the 'albizia' (sp?) trees, these massive brittle 'invasive' trees were either a) snapped apart by the high winds or b) fully uprooted. Just down the street from here one was and is completely blocking the albeit-unused dead-end road:

(A lot of the trees that are down are this kind.)

CIVIL DEFENSE UPDATE
This is a Community Assistance information update for Monday, August 11 at 6 P.M.

Community Assistance Centers will be open tomorrow, Tuesday morning from noon to 4 P.M. at Community Centers in Hawaiian Shores, Leilani Estates, and Nanawale, as well as the Kalani Retreat Center.

These centers will offer water, ice, and other supplies while they last. Bring a container for ice or water as bags or bottles may not be available. If you are able to get to a retail store to get your supplies, we encourage you to do so and leave these supplies for those who cannot get to a store.

The Pahoa Pool is open for showers and phone charging until midnight, and will reopen at 5:30 A.M. Tuesday. The pool itself will reopen for swimming during regular hours.

The Red Cross shelter at the Pahoa Community Center will remain open Monday night for those displaced by the storm, as well as for cell phone charging. No pets are allowed in the shelter.

Be advised that HELCO crews are working in Puna subdivisions and energizing lines as possible. AT&T reports that limited cellular service has been restored.

Uniformed Hawaii National Guard personnel are patrolling the affected areas in official National Guard vehicles, along with Police and Community Emergency Response Teams to ensure public safety.
(3 HELCO SUVs have come directly to the house, the last one being today. An ohia (sp?) tree was uprooted in the corner of the lot, taking down the bottom (telephone) line/wire of a power line that cuts through the property.)

Self-proclaimed storm-chaser Jeff Piotrowski of Oklahoma said he's seen some crushed houses and power lines down on highways.

''There are literally tens of thousands of trees that are down,'' he said, adding that there are long lines for gasoline. ''This is a massive undertaking to get all these lines back up.''

The National Guard is and has been out and about.

August morning in the South of France and it is 11.5 C. Supposed to be sunny today after days of intermittent storms/rain but it won't get all that warm. We basically have not had more than two weeks all together of real summer weather. It's all been like spring or fall. Right about now, it feels like late October.

We are having an unusually hot summer in South Siberia. It's about +16-20 C at night, and about +25 C at noon. On the one hand, the weather is great, but on the other hand, we are often having thunder and hail storms because of it. For example, yesterday one such hailstorm injured many plants in our garden (hope they will recover), and they forecast another such hailstorm for tomorrow.

Temperatures dropped since yesterday in Southern Central Spain. It finally rained last night. It was great! Apparently we will have a one day hiatus and then is back to scorching hot again with +30 C, but the lowest temperatures in the morning are quite refreshing.

At the moment it also feels more like autumn than summer in the eastern part of Germany (with temperatures of about 10°C in the morning). July broke also some rain records since 1881 in the south or that it rained in Frankfurt Main in one day for whole August some days ago.

North of Italy, its afternoon and the temperatures outside are no more than 22 C the funny thing is that it's sunny and practically there are no clouds ,it's like don't know how to describe more accurately,it's like the autumn has already arrived and it still 16 of august, and in the south of Italy the temperatures are more higher like 29-30 C from tomorrow will arrive till 33-35 C and will continue for a week at least,so in the north the temperatures are pretty low for this period of the year and in the south the temperatures are normal considering the specific Mediterranean climate that is characteristic to that area of the country, anyway as i mentioned in other comments on this thread this summer especially here in the north of Italy doesn't compare to the last summer,i remember last summer during this period the temperatures were like 33-35 at least it was very hot, suffocating almost, i remember that period vividly because i have some big issues with hot weather, i just can't stand it.Anyhow it seems such a weather pattern persisted(this year) not only here in the north of Italy but also in other European countries ,like:France,Austria,Germany,Holland and some eastern European countries and around the world like many states of USA,sorry but i just can't abstain myself from speculating a little asking myself what kind of summer will we experience next year?

Edit:added some clarification to my post.

Same here in Toronto. It's started feeling like autumn already. We are having constant shower of rains (plus some thunders) throughout a day in this summer.

The same here in Bavaria - summer is already gone. Today we had a mixture of rain showers and sun. And last week we sometimes had heavy rains. But sometimes you could sit outside and enjoy the sun.

German weather examples in the last couple of weeks:
In the first August weekend a place in Franconia saw half a meter hail. We had a lot of very unusual heavy rains especially in the West of Germany. End of July there was a week with very heavy rains. There were single days when they got the rain amount of a month in a day. E.g. On 28th July in Muenster they measured 292 liter per square meter. 220 liter of these amount fell within one and a half hours! This was around the same time when there was the circular thunderstorm in France. What I personally find remarkable that the extreme rain hit roughly the same area where before the fall of the Roman Empire the Franks were. Along the Rhine and a bit up the Main. The same area is also one of the regions, which sees more feelable earthquakes than others in Germany. Whatever this means and if or if not there is any connection.

On the contrary to the western hemisphere, Tokyo is intolerably hot in this summer. The temperature is 28-30C almost every day (supposedly, it feels like 40C because of humid). Tokyo’s summer is very unpleasant and sometimes it's as hot as countries on the equator since buildings and concretes are everywhere, but this summer is particularly worse because of the typhoons. We normally do not get much typhoons until the end of August but this year they started hitting early in the beginning of summer.

Contrary to the predicted heatwave 2 weeks ago, the back end of ex-tropical storm Bertha stuck around giving us high winds, then we had one day of sunshine and are back to cloudy skies and persistent high winds, day and night, thankfully with little rain!

Parts of Scotland are set for an early taste of winter as high winds sweep in and temperatures plunge.

The Met Office has issued severe weather warnings for much of northern England and Scotland with gusts of up to 50mph forecast.

Coastal areas have been put on alert for "large waves" and meteorologists warned transport links could be hit by disruption.
Calum Maccoll, another Met Office spokesman, said there is a "very autumnal" and "unseasonably cool" feel to the conditions in northern areas.

He said overnight temperatures in some areas of Scotland could fall close to zero later in the week, adding: "You could see... grass frost towards dawn."

Yes it seems we are not so far from the beginning of the next ice age,i remember for example last year monitoring the earth changes( as always thanks to Sott) and noticed that Great Britain had a wet and low temperatures weather during whole summer, this year it had some heat waves but look,it's 17 of august and the heatwave that was predicted for at least next 2 weeks for England somehow changed and now they say that England will experience low temperatures and in some regions maybe even snow, so early,i mean it's not normal taking in consideration also that this summer has snowed in a few European contries like Turkey,Bulgaria,Finland,Norway,Ural Region(Russia).

Here in New Hampshire there has been a lot EE breathing can be taught and attended to by nearby members

Here in New Hampshire it has been a mild summer with a few high 80's days, and as I am a new resident, I am told it gets cold and snowy. However they are used to it and are prepared well as far as plowing. Be that as it is the food prices are high even though there is no sales tax.
The rain has been torrential at night with a few storm warnings and lightning that was intense, all usual for these parts.

I am trying not to be discouraged, as it seems people are very helpful when you're in any kind of need. So that's a plus, as I live alone, and am still reticent about buying as opposed to renting. I might as well buy something as I just sold my home for cash and this way at least I won't have a mortgage and can use a wood stove or pellet. There are also wells and septic tanks in many places rather than city water. I pal on getting a good water filter.

It seems moving to a warmer clime has it drawbacks too as far as drought, floods earthquakes and tornadoes. I am so sick of worrying about these things. It goes back to who you are. And connecting with people and being a part of helping out others less fortunate is the answer. Awareness, but not over concern with the material, because it just affects my mental and physical state in ill ways. Networking is the answer and that's why I'm posting, to stay connected to you all who are on similar paths.

No matter what the weather I keep in mind to have a place where possible EE breathing teaching can go on because this is what I really feel is most important during these times. For group members in the area to have a place to come and learn these techniques, if the Quantum school saw fit. I just think it would be a big boon to all that want it. Especially because of the weird weather ice age threat.

This is about the same here, in Northern New Jersey, US. 10-11 C in the morning, 24-26 C during the day. Last year I recall it being in the low 20's C in the morning and then pushing mid-to-upper 30's C during the day in August. The leaves have started turning already, and it's not even September, yet.
