Oh no, guess I did something wrong there. Will try that again with the photos in a minute.
You can attach them at the bottom of your post (attachments and other options) or you can put them on a site like photobucket.com and then post the link to them in the body of your post with the image button on the post editor.

Poor sharks.

Yeah, they don't usually make it back out to sea when the water recedes. You find their bodies in some of the strangest places :(

Hummm. Unusual things in 'unusual' times perhaps.

Sure thing is that 2012 ain't over yet. It seemed to me that the C's were pretty 'excited' during the last session about the upcoming events.

22 July 2012

A: Things will be getting VERY interesting in upcoming months! Enjoy! Goodbye.

I guess they are so far. Not only weather-wise as a matter of fact.

I have a lot of things to catch on but the picture is getting clearer and clearer every day that I read the material as presented by this community.

Peace.

I'm looking at pictures posted on twitter (#Sandy) and they are really impressive - the flooding in Manhattan is unreal and going to increase. There are entire areas that emergency services can't get to due to the streets being rivers of ocean water. ConEd cut power to Lower Manhattan a little while ago to prevent water and electricity mixing and apparently there have been some subway fires reported. Most of Manhattan has gone black.

Luckily, here in the mid-Atlantic we still have power and while the wind has picked up, it's manageable at this point.

Apparently power has gone out for 2.2 million and this storm is expected to affect 60 million. Ny harbor and Long island are flooded! With the full moon and sandy combining with a winter storm right when the jetstream fails to push the storm east, one has to wonder if 4th density battles are becoming more intense with the wave approach? I recall the cassiopeans saying 4th density battles are reflected in 3d as weather. Be safe out there its gonna be rough but you'll make it with the right prep and knowledge!

Dear God, this is terrible! Haven't seen such a powerful system in a looooong time (if ever).

Here, it is gaining on intensity. Winds are getting stronger (65 km/h) and pressure is still on the drop, now pretty much under 100 kPa.

It's going to be a long night for some people. The first drowning deaths are starting to come across the NYC FD scanner, and this message was just posted to my Facebook:

I just got a emergency text that my friends and their two children are trapped in Zone B In howard beach on third floor the water is up two stories high .. been trying to call 911 and no Fin answer

Video from 1st Avenue in NYC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cF5OVhJHGO4&feature=youtu.be

Listening to the NYC police radio feed, they can't reach most places that they need to because everything is underwater.

This picture is from mid-afternoon in Long Island City, Queens.

Currently, the rain has subsided a bit, the wind is intense but it sounds worse than it really is from the apartment. It's actually kind of quiet right now....and I'm not sure if that should alarm me or if it's a good thing.
No flooding/water damage, rain, snow and the bigger trees on the block are still intact as of now. Only cold winds.
I know a lot of people are in much worse situations, so hold on tight! Chrissy, Joe, take care.

Anart, the first look pretty bad. Like a snapshot from a catastrophe movie.
Same with the second one but I'm not sure how this one got into the post...I was going to attach the picture that the link leads to...

wow unbelievable... :scared:

Many precautionary measures have been taken. Let us hope that there are no fatalities or injuries... but I see very difficult.

Two stories high?? OMG. Hopefully they'll keep calling them and will eventually get an answer....

I wish I could help somehow. It's weird, I'm right here and I can't do a thing and we're not having any problems here in Bensonhurst (Brooklyn).

These pictures and that video of 1st Avenue is astonishing...

and Anart, I couldn't see the second photo in your post until I quoted it and posted my reply, that's why I wasn't sure where it came from.

Everyone in the effected - huge - area, please try to stay warm and dry!

Unfortunately, that's usually not the case with events like this but preparing for the worst and hoping for the best can't hurt.

Seek10, how are you holding up?

Wind picking up here in Western PA, the worst winds are to hit in about two hours, up to 60 mph. Lights have flickered a couple times. Lots of rain and flood warnings. Off to bed, fingers crossed the power stays on!

Wow that is crazy! :jawdrop:

It's windy here in the finger lakes region of upstate NY, with some rain, but nothing too spectacular yet. We'll see what tomorrow and the next day has in store.
