Chemtrails? CONtrails? Strange skies...

these appear to be Mammatus cloud formations for the most part. From my understanding they are created by a sharp change in barometric pressure, temperature, and wind shear at a lower altitudes. Because the cloud is so cold they are very thick in appearance. What makes these "new" formations interesting is their obvious linear structure over such a large area rather than the blobs and drips of Mammatus.

There is also the Microwave-antena, situation that is popping up, in all areas. Upon checking, the problems caused by, said waves cause something, similar to RADIATION BURNS!
This is your statement without any support whatsoever. Please, provide DATA. Photos, evidence of the cause.
Otherwise you are not doing a good service for anybody. You may as well be disinforming. This is not the way
to act. This is not the way we act on this forum.

I think bbuddist is referring to this website _http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2008/09/recent_scenes_from_north_korea.html_ . Its an article written by Val Valerian on the GWEN towers and electromagnetic fields. Apparently these towers are placed 200 miles apart country wide. In the article there is mention of protests near a military base that was experimenting with electromagnetic fields. Protesters claimed to being irradiated, having skin burns, and dementia. If all these towers are actively emitting radiation through out the country who knows what health problems we can blame on this. I believe the most harmful side effect of any would be stress. How many people do you know on prescription drug treatments for depression and anxiety? It only makes things worse in the long run and doctors refuse to treat the underlying causes such as adrenal failure. Instead everything is about popping a pill to feel better, so it is really just a vicious cycle to keep you weak enough so you can't fight back.

Hello Drea, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, the link you provided does not lead to an article by Val Valerian, it's a pictorial report on North Korea.

Seeing as you are new to the forum, we'd appreciate it if you would post a brief intro about yourself in the Newbies section, as is customary for new members. No need to share personal information, just give us a general sense of what led you to this forum, how long you've been reading it and/or the SOTT page, whether or not you've read any of Laura's books yet, etc.

Thanks!

:)

Oh oops sorry about that. Link is _http://www.whal... I'll make sure to post on newb forum.

Hi Drea, I'll caution you on using the whale website as a source for information, since it is, to a very large degree, disinformation and has been discussed on this forum previously as such, with the promoter of the site even visiting us for a very short time : http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=6218.msg42721#msg42721. A search on the whale website on the forum should clear it up for you.

A collection of possible cloud forms. You can see more of these under this link: _http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2009/10/the-weirdest-clouds-that-youll-ever-see

Picture 1 is just downright unbelievable! We had the picture 3 clouds in July just before a storm. First time I had seen such clouds.

Thanks for sharing Data, there are many great shots to be found on this website.
And here is a link to an older thread: showing/discussing a new-kind-of-cloud-: Asperatus

I started noticing episodes of strange clouds like these back in the late 80s or early 90s. I think that they are indicative of some significant changes that our planet is undergoing (climate change included) which may be related to interactions with changes in the solar system and/or our local area of the galaxy.

thanks for the nice photos Data,

I've seen and taken photos of at least 2, 3, 4 and 6, so I know they do appear from time to time. I think many people just don't notice them in real life though. We had some interesting 'standing wave' ones here a few days ago, a bit like 2.

Thanks for posting these Data. Picture 1 looks like giant chemtrails...really strange. I have seen clouds like 3, and something close to 7. Some of the other ones are really quite amazing!

These are pictures which I made on south of Poland some 2 years ago

great pictures!

that reminded me of a couple of shots i took at the end of september - there was a plane flying overhead that looked like it followed a 'line' or 'tunnel' in the clouds. very strange. i don't really have an explanation as to what causes this phenomenon.

This dark 'line' is the shadow of the exhaust trail which is cast onto lower layers of clouds/mist. Depending on the angle of the sun and the observation angle, the 'line' can be found in various 'distances' to the original exhaust trail -- including a seemingly preceding position.

Picture #1 was on Sott.

Australia: Mysterious Tubular Clouds Defy Explanation

These long, crazy-looking clouds can grow to be 600 miles long and can move at up to 35 miles per hour, causing problems for aircraft even on windless days.

Known as Morning Glory clouds, they appear every fall over Burketown, Queensland, Australia, a remote town with fewer than 200 residents. A small number of pilots and tourists travel there each year in hopes of "cloud surfing" with the mysterious phenomenon.

Similar tubular shaped clouds called roll clouds appear in various places around the globe. But nobody has yet figured out what causes the Morning Glory clouds.

This shot was captured by photographer Mick Petroff from his plane near Australia's Gulf of Carpenteria.

Comment: Could this be the explanation of what was seen in the video in this article?

Here is the article referred to in the above comment:

http://www.sott.net/articles/show/192080-US-Triangle-UFO-with-bubble-nose-reported-over-Walsenburg-Colorado

If you scroll down to the bottom of the article, there is a video supposedly of someone pacing one of these clouds.
