The Cs said the creative energy of the universe is transduced by humans as they go about the ordinary 'psycho-drama' of their lives. That which is not expressed outwardly 'goes within', apparently into the planet itself, producing or contributing to such natural phenomena as earthquakes. The significant stoppage of (and/or reduction in) human creative expression is the wildcard in all of this. What if, for example, the suppression of human activity produces or contributes to that 'Big One' earthquake they talk of in California? Something like that would then give the US govt a REAL crisis for which no amount of shuffling numbers around on central bank computer screens can fix. Goods will not move from A to B because the highway is destroyed. In this scenario, only then would China 'step up' as a 'new hegemon'.

As such then, in this second scenario, what's going on now is more of the same - manipulated crises and manipulated solutions to effectively lock things down even more. But in their hubris, the elites have likely gone too far and broken not 'the economy' but something more akin to 'the people's spirit', thus bringing us closer to catastrophe because they don't understand that humans are not robotic resources to be endlessly poked and prodded - they have a human-cosmic connection that brings a higher power into 'the equation', one which will smash their 'eternal global economic lockdown' to pieces.

Very well said Niall, i'd say better this scenario than being stripped of our rights and being forced to be slaves under the rule of these feckless beings. Bring it on!

Update from germany. Merkel is supposed to address the nation this evening and will probably introduce even stricter rules, possibly a curfew like in France. All the mayor car manufacturers of Germany/Europe/World will stop their productions, some at least for a month. The tensions in my workplace are increasing. Were you could joke around just a couple of days ago you have to now watch out closely what you say otherwise people will get upset "because you can't make jokes anymore". By the day, the tensions and restrictions are increasing. You have to be careful now to not come too close to certain people and hold the suggested 2 Meter distance from the other person. The lunchroom is emptying by the day. You have to watch out to not come across as sick, coughing, sneezing. People are getting more fickle by the day. Talked to someones face (like you would normally do) and the guy just freaked out and was "not amused" for me "daring to do so". We produce for the big car manufacturers, so naturally we were told today that beginning of next month there will probably be reduced working hours. It gets spookier by the minute here.

Take it easy Pasalis. It's very stressful experiencing the slow motion demolition of ones daily reality

One of my colleagues who has totally bought into the hysteria told me she has a friend at the CDC. Apparently her friend told hers that they are implementing social controls as quickly as possible but also in a step by step way because people get used to the "new normal" very quickly. This is from a text chain we were having on Sunday:

One of the effects of the mass hysteria is that people are more willing to accept all of these restrictions in the name of "public safety". When the "crisis" is over people will have forgotten to a greater or lesser extent what life was like "before the crisis". The longer it lasts the more people will forget. Just look at how quickly everyone forgets about the last "crisis" and the one before that. It will be easy for them to keep some or all restrictions in place, especially if there is some other outbreak or new "crisis" that they can use to justify it.

This to me is the question that the incompetent ones now face (or the utterly devious, depending on who really is driving this thing) in that there is only so long they can keep the hype up before again the majority become somewhat immune. So the concern is - to cover their fat behinds - they will have to play play games with the thermometer for a while yet, if only to protect their own culpable hides. This is how it could get messy/nasty.

I wouldn't be surprised if they come up with a vaccine in the not too distant future and will make it mandatory, like in Denmark apparently. It might be a good idea to already think about how best to get through this. There will also probably be a good deal of pressure from everybody "to get the vaccine" otherwise you are a "danger for society". I'm afraid not many people will protest this infringement of your personal space/veins and will applaud it to the contrary this time around.

For some reason, Dr. Neil Ferguson's paper is highly mentioned and is coming in many outlets across the world. He is warning 2.2 million can die in US.

The new research (pdf), led by epidemiologist Dr. Neil Ferguson and published Monday by the Imperial College of London, shows that merely acting to slow rather than completely stop the spread of COVID-19 would "still likely result in hundreds of thousands of deaths and health systems (most notably intensive care units) being overwhelmed many times over."

My work informed and supports the recommendations of the WHO Scientific Advisory Group of Experts [SAGE] on Immunization on use of this vaccine.

In ongoing work, I and my collaborators are currently analysing historical dengue serosurvey and surveillance data to generate global maps which indicate where use of the vaccine will give public health benefits and where it may pose risks. Examples of the former include high transmission intensity countries such as the Philippines, while examples of the latter include low transmission areas such as Singapore and Queensland, Australia. However, many countries - such as Brazil, Colombia and Malaysia - have substanial variation in transmission intensity from district to district which means that vaccination roll-out decisions will need to be made at the subnational level.

When all else fails to sort something out, I create timelines. I borrowed the elements of this one from here:

But I rearranged it.

Perhaps we can add to it and get all the data together?

There are already a few very suspicious items on this list.

CHINA November, 2002: After its experience with the SARS outbreak in Guangdong Province in 2002, China implemented a rapid response protocol for infectious diseases. The protocol empowered the Health Ministry to assemble professional and managerial help from across the country, established an emergency response coordinating team, prepared funding and authorization for supplies, equipment and emergency health care facilities, anticipating that existing hospitals would be overwhelmed.

USA September 2008: Though the first cases of H1N1 swine flu were reported in California and Texas in late March, 2009, subsequent genetic analysis suggests that it began six months before it was first detected, in September, 2008, at the start of the ‘flu season. The CDC admits, below, that earlier Covid-19 cases went undetected, too

TEN YEAR GAP

USA May, 2018
: The President Fires the entire US Pandemic Response Team and does not replace it.

USA April, 2019: An outbreak of severe vaping-associated lung illness is exclusively confined to the United States, despite the fact that the majority of vapers live outside the US.

USA July 3, 2019: The CDC halts research at Fort Detrick, citing “national security reasons” for not releasing information about its decision.

USA Jul 14, 2019: Chinese researcher escorted from infectious disease lab amid RCMP investigation. Public Health Agency of Canada describes it as a possible ‘policy breach,’ no risk to Canadian public. The first Chinese to discover or warn about the Covid-19 outbreak?

USA August, 2019: First Vaping Death Reported by Health Officials “Amid the lack of information, investigators scrambled to find shared links to the respiratory problems. Officials said earlier this week that many patients, most of whom were adolescents or young adults, had described difficulty breathing, chest pain, vomiting and fatigue,” the precise symptoms of Covid-19 infection.

USA/CHINA October 27, 2019 At a peak of international tension and the ‘flu season in the northern hemisphere, on the eve of China’s biggest travel season, 300 American military servicemen visit Wuhan for the International Military Games.

USA December, 2019. A Chinese medical researcher is arrested in Boston trying to take biological samples back to China. Zheng Zaosong, of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, confessed to taking material from a lab in Boston. FBI Special Agent Kara Spice found 21 wrapped vials containing a “brown liquid” that appeared to be “biological material” (samples of post-mortem lung tissue look like ‘brown liquid’). Zheng’s roommate, also a researcher, told FBI agents that two labmates of Zheng had succeeded in getting specimens to China. China, presumably, now went on high alert.

USA/CHINA December 2019: Chinese researchers in the USA informed China’s Health Ministry of a novel Coronavirus outbreak there, triggering a readiness alert nationwide. The WHO describes what happened next, “In the face of a previously unknown virus, China has rolled out perhaps the most ambitious, agile, and aggressive disease containment effort in history…China’s bold approach to contain the rapid spread of this new respiratory pathogen has changed the course of a rapidly escalating and deadly epidemic.”

CHINA Dec 26, 2019: Jixian Zhang detects four anomalous pneumonia infections in Wuhan and reports them to the provincial CDC the next day. The provincial authorities immediately inform the national CDC which prepares to implement the pandemic response protocols.

CHINA December 30, 2019: China’s national CDC notifies the WHO

CHINA December 31, 2019: WHO reports Zhang’s discovery to the world.

MALAYSIA January 5, 2020: Malaysia’s Assistant to the Prime Minister, Matthias Chang, speculates that the US is waging biological warfare on China.

USA Jan 6, 2020 Infectious disease expert Amesh A. Adalja, M.D., senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, agrees, “We are on track to have a season like the 2017-2018 season,” when 80,000 Americans died of flu complications.

CHINA January 7, 2020: China identifies the virus as 2019-nCov and confirms it five days later. President Xi tells officials that the country is on a ‘war footing’

CHINA January 13, 2020: China makes the first 2019-nCov test kits available.

CHINA January 25, 2020
: Construction begins on a 1,000 bed intensive care hospital in Wuhan.

CHINA January 26, 2020: China extends Spring Festival holiday to contain the outbreak.

USA January 28, 2020: Harvard Chemistry Professor Arrested, Handcuffed, And Accused Of Lying About Ties To China. Charles Lieber, Chair of Harvard’s Department of Chemical Biology, led a Chinese research group focusing on the use of nanotechnology to identify viruses.

CHINA February 5, 2020: First patients moved into new 1,000 bed intensive care hospital.

CHINA February 23, 2020. Chinese scientists found genomic evidence that the seafood market in Wuhan was not the source of the novel coronavirus. Their genetic data suggests the virus was introduced from elsewhere and had already circulated widely among humans in Wuhan before December 2019, probably beginning in mid- to late November.

CHINA February 27, 2020: On Taiwan TV a prominent virologist explained flow charts suggesting that the coronavirus originated in the US.

CHINA March 4, 2020: February rail freight loadings rise 4.5% YOY.

CHINA March 5, 2020: Shipments to foreign JIT customers upgraded: government subsidizes upgrades from sea to rail delivery and from rail to air delivery.

USA March 6, 2020: Question: How did the virus come to the United States? Answer:The first known patients in the U.S. contracted the virus while traveling in other countries or after exposure to someone who had been to China or one of the other affected areas. But now, a few cases here cannot be traced to these risk factors. This is concerning because it suggests the illness may be spreading across communities for which the source of infection is unknown, which we call community spread/transmission. Dr. Emily Landon, spokesperson, U Chicago School of Medicine.

USA March 9, 2020: HHS staffers often weren’t informed about coronavirus developments because they didn’t have adequate clearance. He said he was told that the matters were classified “because it had to do with China.”

USA March 11, 2020: White House classifies coronavirus deliberations. The meetings at HHS were held in a secure area called a “Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility,” or SCIF, usually reserved for intelligence and military operations. HHS has SCIFs because theoretically it would play a major role in biowarfare or chemical attacks.

CHINA March 10, 2020: Government organizes and subsidizes bus, rail and air transport for two hundred million migrant workers to return to urban jobs.

USA March 12, 2020: CDC director Robert Redfield admits to a House Oversight Committee that some Americans who were diagnosed as dying from influenza tested positive for Covid-19 posthumously.

USA Mar 13, 2020: Chinese FM’s Lijian Zhao demands US authorities reveal what they’re hiding about the origins of Covid-19. “When did patient zero begin in the US? How many people are infected? What are the names of the hospitals? It might be the US army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan. Be transparent! Make your data public! The US owes us an explanation!”

CHINA March 16, 2020: Ninety percent of businesses expected to resume full operations. All Apple stores open.

Postscript: Researchers have greatly advanced their understanding of viral evolution since H1N1 a decade ago and finding patient zero is now more science than art. Recently, a team of Chinese researchers claimed to demonstrate that Covid-19 was born in September, 2019. The British researchers who had discovered the earlier H1N1 date are not convinced.
Thank you so much Laura. Some pearls in there.

Would a fair reading be

1. The US tried to bio-nuc China.
2. The Chinese learned to cope and with the quiet assistance of Russia, turned the game back on the US knowing - as Niall suggests - that the west has nothing like the structural ability to withstand and propel (by whatever state means) under the cover of due diligance i.e. short term pain for long term gain.
3. West starts to implode due to massive structural weaknesses.
4. China and Russia 'win' without firing a shot. Wait for the dust to settle then move into broken markets with salvage operation.

Maybe this is/was WIII - game over already...

Though the empire always strikes back, I know...

The "beaming" issue has given me some food for thought recently, and now, after doing the little timeline above (I hope others will add to it if something relevant is found), it is really making me go "hmmmmm...."

You see, I started having panic attacks in early November and I had about three really bad ones and then started learning how to feel it coming and take preventive measures and head it off at the pass. Ark also became ill in November with a crazy virus, was very sick in Dec and again in January. All is under control right now, but we have both noticed "agitating" effects, usually at night around 11 PM. Not every night.

So, I started wondering if this was some kind of beaming going on? Because, really, neither of us are panic types by any stretch of the imagination. But it seems to me that if something of this sort is going on, it must be some humdinger of a wave! LAURA

We are happy to read that we are not alone in believing this. The time frame, the illness are exactly the same as what we went through. At least I don't feel so alone in this. WE CANNOT IMAGINE symptoms and those which we endured. More than likely there's the 'beaming' and the 'infrasound' business going on full spectrum. PERSONALLY I have woken up at night many times with panic attacks, something that I had only experienced once before. Something in the air today!

Meant to add 2.5. in between - China sends a message back to the west via some of the returning athletes from the Military Games. Schadenfreude.

Merkel is supposed to address the nation this evening and will probably introduce even stricter rules, possibly a curfew like in France.

It just happened, no curfew yet though. A prime example in gas lightning and manipulation. She even dared to compare the situation to the times after WWII. She put all the emotional hooks possible in it (increasing the fear, hysteria) and put a special emphasis on the duty of every person in germany to help the situation be the enforcers of the agenda themselves now. I've seldom seen so much emotional manipulation in a speech, coupled with a willful emphasis on the end of public life as we know it and a drastic down spiral of the economy. As if it is nothing, she said that already millions of germans can't go to work. Just incredible. She also emphasized that people should only trust the official government statements.

Clarification and small rant:

In regards to my hairstylist cancelling my haircut appointment for today because schools have closed:

Stylist is the proprietor, a partnered gay man with no children. I can only assume the bulk of his clientele consists of the local college students who have been sent home and thus, he doesn't feel it's worth his while to come in to work. I have been patronizing this hair shop since moving to Ohio in 1988 - it has transitioned through 3 owners during that time. I briefly tried finding another stylist when the second owner closed up shop, but was unhappy with the results. Tried the new guy and have been a loyal, supportive customer from the beginning when business still acquiring new clientele, tipping generously (even tho technically owners should not be tipped) and with Christmas $. To be so blatantly dismissed/abandoned/betrayed has really come as a shock! I mean, the appointment was today (got text on Monday) and would have been good for minimum of five weeks! Haircut only takes about half and hour! And as for having one of the other female stylists fill in, their own hairstyles look as if they will be going to a Halloween party after work! No thanks!

On another note, I, too, feel that spreading accurate facts about this situation can easily classify me as a 'holocaust denier'. Not a new situation and I've already previously "socially isolated" myself from most people because I just can't stand the general acceptance of all the lies about everything! The one time I mentioned that the Holocaust wasn't exactly what we've been told, the person verbally freaked out! Just shows how successful that lie has been inculcated!

As to beaming, people freaking because of 'the Wave', or effects of 5G, note that Barrie Trower stated that highly dangerous/weaponized 5G (12:10) is the end to privacy of any kind (15:55) and all microwaves cause low-level inflammation (17:20) that can affect any parts of the body including the brain directly.

Ok - CV cartoon of the day:

Here is the whole crazy speech from Merkel translated via deepl. I'm just floored:

Merkel said:
My fellow citizens,

the coronavirus is currently changing life in our country dramatically. Our ideas of normality, of public life, of social interaction - all of these are being put to the test like never before.

Millions of you can't go to work, your children can't go to school or kindergarten, theatres and cinemas and shops are closed, and, perhaps the hardest thing, we all lack the Encounters that are otherwise taken for granted. Of course, in such a situation each of us is full of questions and worries about how to go on.

I turn to you today on this unusual path because I want to tell you what guides me as Chancellor and all my colleagues in the Federal Government in this situation. This is part and parcel of an open democracy: that we also make political decisions transparent and explain them. That we justify and communicate our actions as well as possible so that they are comprehensible.

I firmly believe that we will succeed in this task if really all citizens see it as YOUR task.

So let me say that this is serious. Take it seriously too. Since German reunification, no, since the Second World War, there has not been a challenge to our country that depends so much on our joint solidarity.

I would like to explain to you where we currently stand in the epidemic, what the Federal Government and the levels of government are doing to protect everyone in our community and limit the economic, social and cultural damage. But I would also like to explain to you why you are needed for this and what each and every one of you can contribute.

As far as the epidemic is concerned - and everything I am telling you about it comes from the Federal Government's ongoing consultations with the experts of the Robert Koch Institute and other scientists and virologists: research is being carried out under high pressure all over the world, but there is still neither a therapy against the coronavirus nor a vaccine.

As long as this is the case, there is only one thing we can do, and that is to slow down the spread of the virus, stretch it over the months and thus gain time. Time for research to develop a drug and a vaccine. But above all time so that those who fall ill can receive the best possible care.

Germany has an excellent healthcare system, perhaps one of the best in the world. That can give us confidence. But our hospitals would also be completely overwhelmed if too many
patients with a severe course of corona infection.

These are not just abstract numbers in a statistic, but that is a father or grandfather, a mother or grandmother, a partner, they are people. And we are a community where
every life and every person counts.

I would like to take this opportunity to address first and foremost all those who, as doctors, nurses or in any other function in our hospitals and in the health care system in general, are involved in
work. You're in the front line of this fight for us. You are the first to see the sick and how severe some courses of infection are. And every day you go back to your work and you are there for the people. What you do is tremendous and I thank you for it with all my heart.

So: the aim is to slow down the virus on its way through Germany. And in doing so, we have to rely on one thing, which is existential: to shut down public life as far as possible. Of course, with reason and a sense of proportion, because the state will continue to function, the supply will of course continue to be secured and we want to preserve as much economic activity as possible.

But everything that could endanger people, everything that could harm the individual, but also the community, we must reduce that now.

We must limit the risk of one infecting the other as much as we can.

I know how dramatic the restrictions are already: no more events, no more fairs, no more concerts and, for the time being, no more school, no university, no kindergarten, no playing in a playground. I know how hard the closures, which have been agreed upon by the federal and state governments, interfere with our lives and also with our democratic self-image. They are restrictions such as have never been seen before in the Federal Republic.

Let me assure you: For someone like me, for whom freedom of travel and movement is a difficult
such restrictions can only be justified in absolute necessity. In a democracy they should never be decided lightly and only temporarily - but they are indispensable at the moment to save lives.

That is why the tightened border controls and entry restrictions to some of our most important neighbouring countries have been in force since the beginning of the week.

It is already very difficult for the economy, for large companies as well as small businesses, for shops, restaurants and freelancers. The coming weeks will be even harder.

I can assure you: The German government is doing everything it can to cushion the economic impact - and above all to preserve jobs.

We can and will do everything we can to help our employers and employees through this difficult test.

And everyone can rest assured that the food supply is guaranteed at all times, and if shelves are emptied for a day, they will be refilled. Anyone who travels to the supermarkets
I would like to say that stockpiling makes sense, it always has, by the way. But with moderation; hoarding, as if there will never be anything again, is pointless and, in the final analysis, completely lacking in solidarity.

And let me also express my thanks here to people who are too rarely thanked. Anyone who sits at a supermarket checkout these days or fills shelves is doing one of the hardest jobs there is at the moment. Thank you for being there for your fellow citizens and literally keeping the place running.

Now to what I feel is the most urgent need today: all government measures would come to nothing if we did not use the most effective means of combating the virus spreading too quickly: and that is ourselves. Just as any one of us, indiscriminately, can be affected by the virus, so now everyone must help. First and foremost, by taking seriously what we are talking about today. Don't panic, but don't think for a moment that he or she really matters. No one is expendable. Everyone counts, it takes all our efforts.

This is what an epidemic shows us: how vulnerable we all are, how dependent we are on the considerate behaviour of others, but also: how we can protect ourselves by acting together, and how we can protect and strengthen each other by acting together.

It depends on the individual. We are not condemned to passively accept the spread of this virus. We have a cure for it: we have to keep our distance out of consideration for each other. The Council of Virologists is clear:

No more handshakes, wash your hands thoroughly and often, at least one and a half metres away from the next person and preferably hardly any contact with the very old, because they are particularly at risk.

I know how difficult it is to do what is required of us. We want to be close to each other, especially in times of need. We know affection as physical closeness or touch. But right now, unfortunately.
The opposite is true. And that's what we really need to get across to everyone: At the moment, only distance is an expression of caring.

The well-meant visit, the trip that didn't have to be, all this can be contagious and should really not happen anymore. There is a reason why the experts say: grandparents and grandchildren should not get together now.

If you avoid unnecessary meetings, you will help all those who have to deal with more cases every day in the hospitals. This is how we save lives. This will be difficult for many, and that's what it will come down to: not leaving anyone alone to take care of those who need encouragement and confidence. As families and as a society, we will find other ways to help each other.

There are already many creative forms that defy the virus and its social consequences. Already there are grandchildren who are recording a podcast for their grandparents so they won't be lonely.

We all have to find ways to show affection and friendship: Skype, phone calls, emails and maybe write letters again. The mail is delivered. We now hear about wonderful examples of neighbourhood help for the elderly who cannot go shopping themselves. I am sure there is much more to come and we will show as a community that we do not leave each other alone.

I appeal to you: Stick to the rules that now apply for the near future. As a government, we will always re-examine what can be corrected, but also what may still be necessary.

This is a dynamic situation, and we will remain capable of learning from it, so that we can always rethink and react with other instruments. We will then explain that too.

That is why I ask you not to believe rumours, but only the official communications, which we always have translated into many languages.

We are a democracy. We do not live by force, but by shared knowledge and participation. This is a historic task and it can only be accomplished together.

I am absolutely certain that we will overcome this crisis. But how high will the sacrifices be? How many loved ones will we lose? It's largely in our own hands. We can now, decisively, all react together. We can accept the current limitations
and stand by each other.

This situation is serious and it is open.

That means: It will depend not only, but also on how disciplined everyone follows the rules
and implemented.

We must show, even if we have never experienced anything like this before, that we act cordially and reasonably and thus save lives. Without exception, it depends on each individual and therefore on all of us.

Take good care of yourself and your loved ones. I thank you.

The current situation reminded me of the following exchange:

(Pierre) Talking about cometary bombardment, years ago it was mentioned in a session that the financial markets are totally rigged. Every day we have proof of that. I'm wondering will ever reality catch up on this financial illusion, or is it kind of totally disconnected. Can we...

(L) Ask one question at a time.

(Pierre) Can financial markets be disconnected forever from reality?

A: No.

Q: (Pierre) So the next crash, will it be engineered by financial operators, or will it be reality catching up the financial illusion?

A: Latter mostly.

(Scottie) It can be partially engineered, and then reality catches up and makes it REALLY bad...

A: Yes

Q: (L) Yeah, they think they're going to be able to take it down and bring it back up again.

(Scottie) Exactly. They think they're going to be able to control it, and then: OOPS!

(L) And then it's going to be like having a tiger by the tail.
