Do-it-yourself liposomal nutrients

Hi, I`m a beginer on doing a liposomal witamin C at home. I have sunflower lecitin, sodium ascorbate, destiled water and ultrasonic cleaner, and i don`t know if that mixture is good or not. After 20 minutes treatment in u.s.cleaner it`s steel liquid, I mean it doesn

Something got too fast...sorry, let me continue.... ;) After 20 minutes treatment in u.s.cleaner it`s steel liquid, I mean it does not got thicker at all. Is it wrong? What do You think, is it OK to increase volume of wit. C ( I use1 spoon (12g) sodium ascorbate dissolved in 1/2 cup of water, and 3 spoons (36g) of sunflower lecithin with 1 cup of water)?. What ratio of vitamin to lecithin is optimal? Thank You for answers. Zofia from Poland (if You wander)

Hi Zofia,

I'm not sure if I understood correctly, but it is not supposed to look thick. It is liquid, especially if it is well dissolved and/or mixed. Here is an example of how it looks like: _http://www.seekinghealth.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/thumbnail/500x500/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/v/i/vitaminc2_300dpi.jpg

Hello Psyche
Yes, I`m a little confused after watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywu-5OlVujs (12-15.50 minutes of video tells about thickness)), and reading comments to it. May it be possible, that my lecithin is not good? Or, as You said , the mixture supposed
to be liquid. I try to figure it out how to make it right. I didn`t have time to read all posts yet, so I made a shortcut asking about opinion and I hope You don`t mind. Maybe someone has experience on using sunflower lecithin for liposomal vitamin C or other nutrients?

Wow, this is amazing, I'm like a kid in candy store with this thread!! So excited! Never spoke to anyone before who takes both vit c (ascorbic acid) and soy lecithin enthusiastically as I have been doing for years faithfully. Usually 2oz., (a shot class) of the soy lecithin oil and of course fill my vit c capsules by hand. Just within the past year stopped buying the soy lecithin because of the worries over gmo when I became aware that nearly all soy is gmo. I looked into the organic sunflower lecithin but it was just too expensive.

This thread is jammed packed with great information. Had never heard about liposomal form of vitamin C until now. What a great idea. And I think it's great that you guys are preparing it yourself. Thanks to everyone for all for the great information here! You've provided great resources on where to buy the non-gmo soy lecithin. And I really enjoyed the important literature here providing details about the safety concerns I had.

It may sound silly but I've missed my shot of lecithin in the morning, I even enjoyed the yucky taste  I'll be checking out some of these recommend sites and getting some very soon. And maybe one of these days try my luck at making a batch of liposomal C.

Thanks again!

One thing that I noted is that as long as I take vitamin C in high doses my vision is noticeably better ... sharper, more in focus, less blurry.

Has anyone noticed this as well?

When I was working for the Alacer Corp (Makers of Emergen-C), our CFO was in his 70s and had been wearing glasses for 30 years. After about 6 months of daily dosing with the full range of mineral ascorbates associated with vitamin C, he put his glasses in his desk drawer and never wore them again.

I found this thread, and plan on making liposomal Vitamin C as part of the DMSA detox.

Do you think this organic liquid sunflower lecithin is fine? The issue is difficulty in figuring out how much of the liquid form to use, as opposed to 1 cup water with 3 TBSP lecithin.

I might just get the powder form instead.

Should I pay extra for non-China non-GMO sodium ascorbate?
Brand Cathcart's Vitamin C powder

Or do you think this non-GMO sodium ascorbate is fine?
Brand NutriBiotic

For distilled water, is it fine to buy the gallon size in plastic container from the grocery store? Or do I need to look for distilled water in a glass container?

I would go for the solid form of lecithin, it is easier to work with and the Chinese one Vit looks fine for the price. When I made my own batch I used non fluorine filtered water

Thank you for the reply. I will go with the powder sunflower lecithin. I don't trust that my water filter is actually filtering out the fluoride, so for the first batch I will just buy distilled water.

I think for the first order I will get the non-China vitamin C, to give more time for anyone to potentially warn me about China vitamin C.

I'm in middle of making vitamin C. The ultrasound machine is buzzing. It seems a bit loud to me, and it sounds like pebbles hitting the sides. It is supposed to buzz? I have the setting on the maximum high and maximum time of 8 minutes. I plan on stirring in between cycles and doing 4 or 5 cycles until the foam is gone.

Sounds ok to me, lots of buzzing with my machine, some clicking noises too ... I did the buzzing for around 20 minutes all up, not sure how time affects the liposomes overall ...

Hi all.

This is yet another priceless thread, packed with research and findings that provide us with the knowledge to optimise our health. I just added Sodium Ascorbate, Non-GMO Soy Lecithin, and a JPL 7500 ultrasonic cleaner to my Amazon wish list, to be ordered on payday.

If anyone has used the JPL 7500 I would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks :)

Fwiw, all sounds normal - my machine maxes out at 8 minute cycles - i do three cycles to complete the process, and it buzzes away, growing louder towards the end of each cycle. As for the foam, i let this settle out before starting the first cycle (usually sitting for just 5 - 10 minutes and I stir in between cycles, too).

Thanks for the reassurances about the buzzing sound.

After the 4th cycle, the foam was mostly gone and I thought 32 minutes was long enough. I added 2 teaspoons for vanilla extract. It was a brownish color.

I drank a quarter cup right away. I was surprised that it was warm, since the lecithin solution and water had been in the refrigerator. It was sour and I could not taste any vanilla. It was not that good. Then I stuck it in the refrigerator overnight.

This morning, I took it out. It was mostly mixed together. There was a barely discernible layer near the bottom that was barely darker than the rest of the brown solution. I drank a quarter cup, and it was so much better than when it was first made. It was only a little bit sour and the vanilla flavor came out. So definitely let it sit overnight in the refrigerator and don't drink it right when it is made.

Well, it's definitely not "haute-cuisine" ... but then medicine MUST taste awful to work, right?
