EgyptAir flight MS804 disappears from radar between Paris and Cairo

So, the last crash actually happened 19 years, 10 months, and 1 day ago? That would be 19101 or 11019 and the plane from yesterday took off at 11:09. Another funny thing is that I saw 9:11 on the clock after waking up the day before yesterday and had a weird feeling about it like I had right before another plane disappeared. Might not be related but straaaange enough.

It might or not be related, but I've been catching that number a lot for the last week or so: 9:11, including the last 3 days or so. I had a dream last night with several black tornadoes, they were more like black smoke. I told people about it, that it meant something and everyone was like, no, that is nothing.

I'd like to chime in and say that I to experienced stranger dreams than usual in the build up to this event. For one, planes have been featuring over the last month and 2, on monday night, I had a dream that resulted in a literal 'crashing down'.

So it seems something was/is indeed in the air. Emotions have also been running amok.

Whatever happened to this plane, it's another strange incident of which probably the true answers will be hard in coming by assuming the PTB follow their modus operandi of lying and burying the truth.

Just Thursday Egypt agreed to this, came up reported on Friday.

Egypt gets $25 billion from Russia for nuclear plant

Russia has extended Egypt a $25-billion loan to finance the construction of the country's first nuclear power plant, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has said.

Sisi approved the agreement in a decree on Thursday, saying Moscow will cover 85% of the expenses and his government will provide the remaining 15%.

Egypt is to repay the loan over a 22-year period, starting in 2029, with a 3% annual interest rate.

The plant, which is to house four 1,200-megawatt nuclear reactors, will be set up in Dabaa in northern Egypt. It is due to be completed in 2022 and possibly generate power in 2024.

Egypt and Russia signed the agreement in February 2015 but their relations were badly impacted after the horrific Russian passenger plane crash in Sinai last October, when all 224 people on board were killed.

Donald J. Trump Response to Hillary Clinton

The fact that Hillary thinks the temporary Muslim ban, which she calls the "Muslim ban", promotes terrorism, proves Bernie Sanders was correct when he said she is not qualified to be President.

Look at the carnage all over the world including the World Trade Center, San Bernardino, Paris, the USS Cole, Brussels and an unlimited number of other places. She and our totally ignorant President won't even use the term Radical Islamic Terrorism. And by the way, ask Hillary who blew up the plane last night - another terrible, but preventable tragedy. She has bad judgement and is unfit to serve as President at this delicate and difficult time in our country's history.

The claim for terror attack was based on the sudden sharp turns the plane was making, but what if there was something else evolved?

If this information is true me thinks the pilots may have tried to correct what ever may have initiated there troubles. A cork screw turn with a descending drop to 10,000 ft. may have been a last ditch effort for sea landing.

Perhaps this explains why one the flotation devices was out the packing that was found. That the the passenger's and crew were possibly preparing for a ditching at sea, until something catastrophic may have taken place.

Speculation: At some point below 10.000 ft. the plane may have started fermentation of its the necessary control module's until impact.

Update: May 21, 2016
Automated messages sent from the aircraft suggest that some type of fire had broken out prior to the crash. Whether this fire was caused by a bomb or other incendiary device, or by hazardous cargo, or by a malfunction in one of the plane’s systems, is unknown.

Meanwhile, some in the media have been making an issue over the lack of a distress call from the crew. This isn’t something to focus on, and is most likely meaningless. Communicating with air traffic control is not a priority when dealing with an onboard emergency. The task hierarchy calls first for dealing with the emergency itself: keeping the aircraft under control, troubleshooting the problem, running the checklists and so on. If and when time permits, ATC is brought into the loop. This is especially true if something happens during the cruise portion of flight — as it did in EgyptAir’s case — when communication matters are less urgent than they’d be during landing or departure.

This again. David Soucie was on CNN this afternoon asking why we don’t have live streaming video from the cockpit of all commercial flights — something that CNN regular (and airline-hater) Miles O’Brien often advocates as well. Let me get this straight: you want to install live video feed, in real time, from each of the thirty thousand or so commercial airline flights that operate every day of the week. This data would be banked where, and by whom? And in the aftermath of a disaster, what would it show us? We’d see grainy footage of pilots dealing with something that the voice and data recorders (CVR and FDR) will tell us about in much greater detail later on. Even most serious malfunctions wouldn’t appear particularly dramatic, revealing themselves through system failures and whatnot depicted on the various cockpit screens and dials — data that would be difficult for cameras to record, and that, in any case, is already being recorded by the FDR. And in the event of something catastrophic, like a bomb, all you’re likely to see is the screen instantly going black. Or, if something nefarious is going on, like a hijacking or other intentional act, the cameras could easily be disabled or covered over. To the media it’s a fantastic idea, because the cable channels would quickly have more pictures to tantalize us with. From an investigative point, however, this would be a gigantically expensive and complex investment for something that’d be of marginal help, and only in those exceptionally rare instances when the black boxes can’t be recovered.

How rapidly can a commercial aircraft descend?
_http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=594512
No one is certain, but it's thought that a China Airlines 747 might have gone supersonic during an emergency descent in 1985. According to the Wikipedia article, "Altitude decreased 10,000 ft (3,000 m) within only twenty seconds." and "They had descended 30,000 ft (9,100 m) in under two and a half minutes".
That's a bit faster of a descent than Xema cites, but it was also not exactly 'controlled'. It does give you a bit of respect for the designers at Boeing, though..

Some of those personal items, like the white bag, seem to be torn apart. So if this is the remains from the plane, then something pretty catastrophic seems to have happened inside the cabin.

As others here have said (and the media is saying too) the fact that no one claimed responsibility for the crash suggests this was a "natural" event. Of course, for the "authorities" 'natural' has to mean a fire on board, or "pilot error" or something like that. Based on what we've figured out about previous crashes, some kind of 'extreme' natural event looks the most likely.

According to director of Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov, the crash was "most likely" caused by a terrorist attack/

Russia's FSB chief says terrorist attack may be behind EgyptAir flight crash
http://tass.ru/en/world/876793

MINSK, May 19. /TASS/. The EgyptAir Flight MS804 may have crashed as a result of a terrorist attack, director of Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov said on Thursday.

"Unfortunately, another incident with an aircraft of Egypt airlines took place today. It was most likely a terrorist attack that killed 66 people from 12 countries," Bortnikov said at the session of the Council of heads of security and special services of CIS member countries.

This announcement surprise me, first - because it was made by the director of Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) which in the recent past, tend to be reserved and their statements are carefully worded. Also the timing, within hours after the plane was reported missing. It gives the impression, Russia is closely monitoring domestic fights via satellite? Stating "terrorist activity" may be the cause - leads one to believe "they may have reasonable evidence" to back up that claim?

Kammenos said the aircraft was 10-15 miles inside the Egyptian area and at an altitude of 37,000 feet. He says: "It turned 90 degrees left and then a 360- degree turn toward the right, dropping from 38,000 to 15,000 feet and then it was lost at about 10,000 feet," he said.

Greek civil aviation authorities say all appeared fine with the flight until the time when air traffic controllers were to hand it over to their Egyptian counterparts. The pilot did not respond to their calls, and the aircraft then vanished from radars.

I believe reports stated this flight was to land around 3 AM and it was just entering Egyptian airspace when it vanished from radars. Israel borders Egypt.

Today on sputnik - The Hamas movement has fired two rockets from Gaza in the Mediterranean Sea local media reported.

http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20160520/1039937169/hamas-fires-mediterranean-rockets.html

Is it possible - Israel shot the plane down with a rocket or missile - using the International Drill as a cover?

The international Phoenix Express 2016 naval exercises will take place May 17 – 27 in the Mediterranean Sea.

This next report states, "automated warning messages had indicated smoke in the nose of the aircraft". Did a missile hit the front of the plane in such a way, as to propel it " 90 degrees left and then a 360- degree turn toward the right," with the pilots trying to gain control and get back on course, until smoke and fire took out the flight control units?

On-Board Fire Minutes Before Crash Of EgyptAir http://novorossia.today/120230-2/
Smoke and fire broke out on board EgyptAir flight MS804 minutes before the plane plunged off radar screens during the early hours of Thursday morning. “There was a fire on board,” aviation expert Tim van Beveren told DW. “The system sent very clear messages. There was lavatory smoke detected. A minute later, avionics compartment smoke detected…Two minutes later, the flight control units are failing.”

Expert: Fire aboard fatal EgyptAir flight

There were media reports late Friday that automated warning messages had indicated smoke in the nose of the aircraft, and an apparent problem with the flight control system.

The warnings were reportedly sent automatically by the Airbus A320’s computer systems in the early hours of Thursday, local time. “We are looking into this report,” an Egyptian civil aviation ministry official said. “At this point I can’t deny or confirm it.”

The plane was spotted by residents on a Greek Island in a ball of fire.

Greek authorities are investigating claims that residents of a Greek island saw a ball of fire, or flame in the sky around the time the flight lost contact with radar.

And if the plane was shot down, could this meeting - held by NATO - hours later in Brussels, indicate a warning to France over it's resistance against "a NATO missile-defense system"?

May 19 NATO foreign ministers meeting in Brussels.

Is the crash of Egyptair Flight 804 linked to the France-led resistance against US escalation vs. Russia?
http://katehon.com/article/crash-egyptair-flight-804-linked-france-led-resistance-against-us-escalation-vs-russia

U.S. officials believe that if NATO doesn’t use its July summit in Warsaw to take control of the missile-defense system and declare it operational, Russia will declare that the alliance is bending to its will.

France has been leading the resistance against the missile system (recently implanted even in impoverished Romania) that would be nominally a NATO program, but in reality it’s a US controlled operation against Europe.

The US side wants the issue be forced into the Europe’s throat already at the May 19 NATO foreign ministers meeting in Brussels.

EgyptAir 804 plane crash recap: First pictures of wreckage emerge as military claims 'black box located' (Photos - Video)
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/egyptair-crash-debris-black-box-8010675

The vital black box recorder from the doomed EgyptAir MH804 has been located in the Med - but not as yet recovered, the Mirror understands.

Egyptian army sources said search personnel had picked up a ‘signal’ from the recorder which enabled them to locate its position in the water. But it has not been recovered.

The reports of the Egyptian military finding the black box appear to have surfaced on Friday evening in state-run newspaper Al-Ahram.

The article claimed: “it was a preliminary identification of the site’s black boxes in the area between 3 and 4 nautical miles from crash site”

I stumbled upon a very curious incident that made me wonder about the possible connection between this story and the disappearing flight. The article is in Russian, but you can read here a somewhat decent, but probably automatic translation. Or maybe someone can find an article on the Greek news site? Or perhaps some English speaking site?

Anyways, the gist of the story is that 15 hours after the disappearance of EgyptAir flight MS804, another flight couldn't be contacted. The plane belonged to one of the American airlines, and it flew from France to Kuwait with 140 passengers on board.

The plane couldn't be contacted for several hours (!), so Greek military planes were dispatched from their base in Cyprus, and when they reached the plane they saw through the cockpit that both of the pilots were asleep (!). Apparently flight attendant saw the military planes and woke up the pilots. All this time the plane was flying on autopilot. Apparently it managed to fly all this time by itself while dispatchers from Italy and Greece tried to contact them. Even NATO was alerted, since they were afraid it was a terror attack.

I found 3 Greek sites talking about this incident, Keit, and they describe what happened as the Russian article does, though the 2 F-16 planes were dispatched from their base in Greece, not Cyprus.

Here's another site reporting it too, in english, though the video at the end is from Greek channel Alpha: http://www.miragenews.com/ghost-flight-pilots-fall-asleep-with-140-aboard-f16s-scrambled-video/

So far it looks unrelated to the EgyptAir crash, I think. And looking just now at all the images from the debris of EgyptAir flight, it brings to mind the still missing MH730 and all the reports that periodically surface about its wreckage found on this island or that. We never had a single convincing image for that flight. Not that we will, but as a comparison, it it telling, or so I think.

Thank you, Alana, for the feedback! :flowers:

Yes, I find lack of "concrete information" regarding this crash very perplexing and suspicious. Especially, since in other recent crashed there was a lot of information flying around. Indeed reminds of the flight MH730, and even then there was more data.
