Failed Trump Assassination Attempt

Before anyone can even rationally think about the "newest thing", there's already another event happening to make you forget the last one.
It's like what may have been recounted by Suskind, allegedly to be from Karl Rove:

The aide said that guys like me were 'in what we call the reality-based community,' which he defined as people who 'believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.' [...] 'That's not the way the world really works anymore,' he continued. 'We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors...and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.

Trump was nearly assassinated. Fingers pointed here and there. A Biden coup. Harris pushed to the fore - the media shifts. One news cycle dies and is then rewoven and refocused anew.

In 2016, many studied events for the next four years, and then covid and now another four years has passed as study, and really, we are much in the same place with different people and different contrasts. Fundamentally, we have no real press and, people have short attention spans. If asked if covid were to start again tomorrow, would many forget and follow as they once did? Think that they might, and that is sad if so.

Another attempt, message or circumstance?

The Secret Service responded to gunfire near Donald Trump as he left a golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The New York Post reports this, citing sources.

According to the New York Post's sources, the two shooters were aiming at each other, not Trump.

The publication notes that Trump was in no danger and the shooting occurred in a neighborhood known for high crime rates.

Trump taken to safety after Secret Service opens fire on man with possible gun at his Palm Beach golf club-New York Post
Donald Trump was taken to safety by the Secret Service after agents opened fire on a man who was spotted with what may have been a gun while the former president was on the links, according to law enforcement sources.

Sources said the Secret Service spotted a suspicious individual on the Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach, and opened fire when agents saw what appeared to be the barrel of a gun
It’s not clear whether the man was on the course or near it.

An agent opened fire, shooting multiple times.
“President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time,” Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said Sunday afternoon.
Is no longer the same as “two people were shooting at each other” to “the police shot someone” ... in the ...vicinity, we will see what more details come to light in the next few ...minutes.

The intentions of the US and Europe to give Zelensky a free hand to attack Russian cities had stalled a bit, maybe they had taken into account to eliminate Trump before? ...but again they didn't succeed? What will happen next?

The task force received the autopsy pictures, which hopefully will be made public soon. An interesting tidbit in this article on it:

Kelly did say, however, that the FBI told them that Crooks started exhibiting strange behavior in the days leading up to the shooting, such as “walking around the [h]ouse talking to himself” and “flapping his arms,” raising questions about what potential warning signs were missed. “There was some indication that something was wrong,” Kelly said.
Mass shooters and/or mind-programming victims seem to be disproportionately schizoid and/or on the autism/systematizing spectrum. Maybe there's something about that profile that makes them more susceptible. A few quotes from Ponerology:
Low emotional pressure enables them to develop efficient speculative reasoning, a kind of objectivity which is useful in non-humanistic spheres of activity like economics or for exploiting the emotionalism of others. However, their one-sidedness makes them prone to consider themselves intellectually superior to “ordinary” people who, in their opinion, are mainly guided by their emotions.
Crooks studying to be an engineer. One of the locals who shot video, Jon Malis, said:
One of the guys I work with, a friend of mine, is Crooks' neighbor. He lives five doors down from him. His son's the same age. They went to school together since kindergarten, and the one thing he said about Crooks, that his son told him, was the one kid who came on and said that he was bullied all through school and all this stuff, that was a total lie. That kid didn't even know him apparently. Crooks was actually a bit of a prick, a know-it-all, you know. He thought he was smarter than everybody else. This is according to my buddy's son, so yeah, you know that doesn't make sense.
More:

They easily become involved in activities which are ostensibly moral, but which actually inflict damage upon themselves and others.

Because of their shortcomings, they often become wrapped up in stressful situations that characteristically stifle their capacity for thought, sometimes so severely that they suffer a breakdown and fall into reactive psychotic states so similar in appearance to schizophrenia that they lead to misdiagnoses.

On a small social scale, such people ... easily turn into tools of intrigue in the hands of clever and unscrupulous individuals ...
