Did the eye-witness ESU guys describe the damaged tube ? Buffer tubes are made from 6061 Aluminum and house a coil steel spring, they are not plastic, and they are designed to take a thumping or two.

The Cop may have hit the rifle's receiver or mag, that would have disabled it from firing - and any lead splatter and accompanying tin roof bits could have sent fragments into Crooks' eyes / face - forcing him to duck / move.

It is possible, and yet something tells me we may never exactly know given how evidence and the body was handled. As for the shot from the ESU SWAT member, it is impressive given the scene of the high stakes event. And even if his shot hit not exactly where it was first described, he did very well under pressure of the crowd, the angle and focused timing (imo).

NEW: Newly uncovered footage appears to show would-be Trump assas*in Thomas Crooks spending his last hours on Earth walking around the Butler, PA rally location.

It appears that the original video came from a small business owner who was selling patriotic hats before the rally.…

Just out for a stroll. Well, if authentic, that is quite the close up of the doomed man.

I believe it is that TMZ video (you can hear the guy saying he's "turning this way" before the last shot). The problem with the TMZ video is it appears to be a cropped version of a vertical video - so we are missing the top/bottom parts of the frame. And because TMZ owns it, it's likely the full version has been scrubbed.
Twitter is probably the best bet to find it, if it exists. I'll dig back through the thread later if I get a moment.

I listened to Dan Bongino 'going off' about how Crooks was walking in the Twitter clip and how that was a 'red flag' and denoted someone with military training. He wasn't going to elaborate on what it was because he said that any person who was aware could counter act it. However, someone said in the comments section that Crooks wasn't moving his right arm much while he was walking. It's possible that he could have meant that, and that it stood out.

Would Thomas Crooks have had the training and been able to obtain the bank accounts of his own violition, though? It seems unlikely. He was most likely 'groomed' as a sniper and played the part of 'lone nut' without realising he was being set up.

It almost feels like millennia have passed since the assassination attempt. There is SO much going on now that every new thing gets buried within a day. We are in one of those times when decades happen every hour. Before anyone can even rationally think about the "newest thing", there's already another event happening to make you forget the last one.

It's been pretty effective in making many of the normies I know give up and just follow the moving dot on the TV screen. It's almost too much to process alone even for those of us with a functioning brain. Many of those who have always just followed the news can't spare a moment to think about what they just saw or it could cause them extreme cognitive dissonance, so they simply accept the MSM spin and continue down the doom spiral with the next bit of shocking prime-time "news".

There is not a single person in my life who even once mentioned the assassination attempt, even within days of it happening. It really is like it never happened. There is one good thing with all of this, however: there are other people I know who have completely given up on ALL the news and they are living their lives in the present, only acknowledging what they cognize with their five senses in their immediate vicinity in this moment.

That may in fact be the most sane response to what is going on - except, well, they aren't prepping for what we think is coming down the chute (disasters). But at least they are remembering and paying attention again to what is truly real. And it all seemed to start after that Trump/Biden debate on June 27th, about two thousand years ago...
