Failed Trump Assassination Attempt

Don't know if this has already been pointed out, but here's the picture of the ladder used. It's definitely not a 5-ft ladder like we were told by the FBI and it surely wouldn't have fit in Crooks' vehicle. This doesn't even get into how it was placed there, since Crooks could not have carried it and the rifle while walking to the building, much less without being seen. That's a heavy ladder.

That was the law enforcement ladder, there were two different ladders.

Possibly the left guy wasn't hit by a bullet and just slipped or something. Very hard to tell. But it seems to me that he was shot is more likely when you watch it in slow-motion. He is the first to react in the whole crowd, and he moves like having been shot in the chest and at the end almost seems to fall down completely (unconscious?).
Looks confirmed that he wasn't shot. The same guy is on camera after the shots acting normally and filming what's going on:

This is what I found
The two snipers on the other main roof, wearing Police Vests, and the other officers on the ground wearing vests with Secret Service....so what is Natali referring to?
Some secret service uniforms say "police" on them. The second picture you posted probably shows the front and back of one particular uniform (police on back, SS on front). Here's another variation.

Senator Marsha Blackburn has made a statement claiming that SS knew about the threat before Trump took the stage.

This was after one of those famous 'intelligence briefings', so take it with a grain of salt.
I had heard this yesterday.....but was not sure if it was real. So did Trump know? If they were expecting something.....they bodged it badly. I am not saying that the individuals in the team are nowhere near the professionals they needed to be for this type of gig, but again this all seems like nothing adds up. No matter what scenario, or new info that comes about, nothing adds up!

Either this was a second shooter, or a second counter-sniper from the second team located on the building to the right of the team we've seen on video and in photographs. If it was a second, professional assassin, he was totally inept, firing off a single shot after Trump was already on the ground covered by SS agents. Seems more likely to me that it was the second counter-sniper team.
Latest news:

JUST IN: The viral USSS sn*per team is *not* the pair that took out Thomas Matthew Crooks at the Trump rally. According to USSS spokesman Anthony Guglielmi, there were four total counter-sn*per teams watching over the event. The development is odd because it suggests that multiple teams appeared to be looking at or toward Crooks who somehow managed to get off a clear shot on Trump.Out of the four counter-sn*per teams, two were USSS, and two were local teams.A "local marksman" also engaged but was not the one to fire the fatal shot.I'm just wondering how there seemed to be multiple sn*per teams looking at Crooks yet he was able to get a perfect shot on Trump.

From what I have heard, I am no specialist, the pop sound you hear is because of the velocity of the bullet passing the sound barrier. Silencer or not you would still hear the pop.

Unless the rounds used are subsonic, as Corvus mentioned earlier:

I would say they could have used 300 blackout ammo round, 7.62x35mm. It is subsonic round, very silent but has more impact power then nato standard round 5.54x45mm, but has a short range of being precise, 200-300m, based on russian vss vintorez(9×39mm) that was used in Afghanistan for it s silent characteristics. Cs said in Dallas attack they used subsonic ammunition also. And going for a head shot, yes, I would say it was distance of about 150 200m, maybe more so that s why it was a miss, but still as said professsional would know that and would not miss, even if it can happen, only if there was some providence in action. But by using silent ammo it is about not getting caught so it has similarities to previous black ops attacks, using also supressors to make it more silent and not having muzzle flashes to see the direction of fire, but with stronger calibers there are also natural ways to mask yourself depending on enviroment. And why to use assasination as said here when they can use other not so overt methods.

See pic below.

On the one hand they may have destroyed some evidence (assuming they didn't take what they needed before). On the other, someone needed to clean the brains and blood off the roof.

There are cleaners who do these jobs specifically for blood etc. I suspect the FBI fears an independent investigation like Congress is calling for. The gunshot residue would have told a story.

I just realized that we can't really be sure if the first, second or third shot (and/or any combination between the three!) is the one that hit Trumps ear! Further, depending on how fast blood would flow, it almost looks like it wasn't the first shot that hit Trumps ear! And maybe not even the second one, but the third one! Here is my speculation on why that might be the case:

Take a look at the video below in super slow motion; The first shot is being shot, then Trump reacts and puts his right hand on his right ear (most probably touching the ear). Note that the ear at that point wasn't necessarily hit by the first bullet, since a bullet could have flown near his ear and that was what he was initially reacting to. Then the second shot happens while Trump still has his hand on the ear. Then he puts down his hand, and we see large parts of Trumps hand on the inside, apparently with no blood on it AND the hand undamaged. Which means (assuming blood flowed immediately) that it could be that neither the first nor the second shot hit Trumps ear, but the third one! Then Trumps head starts his motion of going down and the third shot happens. If blood wasn't fast enough to flow at the first shot, it could have been the first shot. But if it was fast enough to flow, the first shot could have hardly been the shot that hit Trumps ear and also not the second one because his hand would likely have been hit too:

So the big question here is, how fast would blood flow at that part of the ear after having been hit? Anyone know?
In my opinion, looking at the video several times, this would be the 1st shot that would have wounded Trump in his ear.

I said to myself that we have to take into account the noise we hear from the bullets as well as the speed of the bullets.

So, taking into account the speed of sound which is 340.29 m / s and researching the AR-15 weapon that would have been used by the shooter (I did my research on this data since we can't be sure that this is the official story especially if in the end, there are other shooters and if it's a different weapon).

Anyway, taking into account the bullet velocity for a 5.56 mm AR-15, it can travel at between 850 and 993 m/s.

So, with the data on the speed of sound and the speed of the bullet, when we watch the video of the attack, we see Trump touching his ear almost at the same time as the 2nd shot, but in truth, this reaction is consistent with the first shot, where he reacted immediately, but his reaction is out of sync with the sound of the bullets. And if you think about it, the reaction time of our gestures can also have a millisecond delay.

I just wanted to bring this data into the reflections on the attack.

As I said to a friend: It was a very close call. Which made me think of the Quebec song “Échappée belle grâce à toi” - "Échappée belle, alléluia!". 💗

From what I understand this was when Crooks went through security and they saw the rangefinder (which is like binoculars).
