Robin said:Just posting to say that I received my FOTCM membership packet in the mail today!!!
Reading through previous posts concerning the FOTCM, I now realize I must be more active in this forum so that the "elders" know more about "who I am" (funny/cowinkidink, I was asked that very question today by another member of the forum. See: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,28886.25.html Reply # 37 ;)) and if I am serious about self-Work, before I can have access to the FOTCM members area ... In other words, access must be earned. Correct?
Also, I understand that my membership in the FOTCM is a commitment to self-Work, Truth and "all that entails" by way of observable actions and being active. With that said, I am interested in the progression through the various levels of membership. Beginning with the first level (Companion), I understand all that is required within this level but two of the requirements: "Completed 3 months of sustained participation in church activities..." and "Have completed an Elder assessment". If these two points could be fleshed out a bit more for me, such as how and where I can participate, and what does an "Elder" assessment entail etc., I would greatly appreciate it.
I understand and take seriously my responsibilities to the Fellowship and the community at large, and look forward to participating. :)

Hi Iron, it takes time and crossing the ocean, so patience is necessary. :)

I understand, I was just worried about the mailing system of my country that kinda sucks.
I'll wait, and thanks for your patience!

Hi Iron, your application made it to the States, so it will make it to France soon. :)

Great! :) And apologies for replying with such delay, it's been a busy time and especially for Ailén who usually answers most questions here.

As for church activities, since there are none physical events in your close proximity, it would be mostly sharing: about yourself, your diet and your experience with practicing EE; contributing to our research in important fields of interest; sharing our findings with the outside world like via FB for example; helping other forum and FOTCM members when possible - simply just interacting with others as much as possible in the spirit of sincerity and FOTCOM principles - to mention a few from top of my head. Basically, keep doing what you've been doing recently and perhaps pay more attention to the areas mentioned above that you stayed away from so far and try to be a bit more active there too. But it's always your choice where and in what way you participate.
And "Elders" just have to make a decision based on what they can see. :)
I understand and take seriously my responsibilities to the Fellowship and the community at large, and look forward to participating. :)
We look forward to see you around! :)

The avatar appears under names of forum members that are part of the FOTCM sub forum.

No, that's not a matter of your level, most of all that's a matter of sharing and showing that one lives in accordance with FCM principles as much as they can. But now, you've got your fellowship avatar. :)
