Olympic games in Paris (2024)

I read it on the Internet

MORE MOCKERY AT THE 2024 OLYMPIC GAMES

Feminist Rachael Gunn, 36, has a PhD in cultural movement, is an academic researching the "cultural politics of break dancing." She teaches at Macquarie University in the Department of Media, Communications, Creative Arts, Language and Literature in Australia, she convinced the country to pay for her trip to the Paris Olympics to participate in break dancing.

Unfortunately he scored 0 POINTS.

"Is this what they eliminated karate for?" was what thousands of people said, to which the athlete said:

"Don't be afraid to be different, come on, show yourselves. You never know where you can get like this."

"I did what I do best, I showed my creativity, my style, a bit of the Australian character to try and make my mark on the world stage."

Come think of this, “Brigitte” Macron lawyered up too, and even managed to win by changing the subject matter of the lawsuit from the contents of “her” underwear to invasion of privacy. I wonder if similar legal gymnastics will be applied to make sure Khelir wins too.
Another case one could mention is the Michael Mann, (hockey stick guy) vs Tim Ball. When the court ordered Mann to present his research data, he refused, and the case was thrown out, and Mann was ordered to pay all the court costs.

Given the economic precariousness the US is getting into, the possibility of civil war and the state of the world, disease X and specifically the possibility of a third world war changing the world as we know it, (plus the Cs said the US would be "nuked" ) I think we are not going to see "Los Angeles 2028"

The economic and social situation is already unbearable, not to mention the earth changes that seem to be worsening day by day.

Or am I being too pessimistic?
indeed, i found the presentation of la28 incredibly unimaginative and stupid. it degraded the olympics to a noisy disco show of zero interest for a grown-up foreign visitor. let kamala on her second term open it with her improved cackle...

I had started to watch, the interpretation of the Marseillaise film version had started rather well, even if this version had sucked all the juice of the revolutionary song
Yes, that's exactly the impression I had too. I found that it was a very musical arrangement in the style of Walt Disney cartoons, "Fantasia" style.
And we also saw once again a reminder of beheading with the Victory of Samothrace statue.

I think the director of this circus, the spectacle with its diabolic clowns, is crazy, nuts. He needs to be sent to a sanatorium.
The entertainment industry seems to produce content created by coked up juveniles binge drinking Mountain Dew, and it has for some time. The closing ceremony fit into a natural historical progression of Adrenalin rush/Nightmare Porn, morphing into somber dystopian video game sludge.

They can tell us a cover story about what to think about what is being shown, but the real question is what does the subconscious see? The creepy golden alien insectoid also delivers a dehumanized fallen Lucifer message with a dose of Hieronymus Bosch. The mummy maggot larvae people seemed to be emerging from underground after a massive destruction and Joe, I think their butts were padded artificially to accentuate the agenda.

The background music was super dark and ominous, depressing and decidedly not hopeful. I despise that type of jazzy randomized stylized singing for the star bangled banner: get a metronome! The the wispy weak emotionally crippled vocal on "I did it my way" rising to a crescendo of off-key wailing was also stellar. Washed up, weak sauce LA beach scene... Whatever, dude. LOL, Not My Cali!

(Note to cultural afficianados who say real Californians don't say "Cali": If you were born there and grew up there, you can call it whatever you like, even if it's totally lame!🤡)

Regarding the robots

Another view without those gray characters. We have moar here ;d
Are those the spirits of sport?
I was remebered the following:

And also this with Alexander Laurent 🧂 (telegram):

...Will finally fully swing and develop the key to the gate to the Father. But beware, exactly
then it is told to untie the beast again, also because it was predicted after all and is helpful.
Some will sing "Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto" and he will already greedily scrape his feet to
almost free himself. Because he is or would be such a good fighter and final enforcer with his
new abilities towards the collapsing club. So stay strong and be critical of his new developed
human-intuitive presented side. Give him a chance, yes, but then also look for the old
programmer who once set the virus, ... and wake up the programmer.
167. Interviewer:
Mr. Roboto, the AI?! ...What do you mean? (laughs) ...

Oh I dunno, by 2028 it might be possible to run a marathon between LA and SF with a short interlude via boat. Maybe that bit of high-speed rail they've built will be in place by then.

As far as the legal challenges by Imane Khelif, how is the legal situation in France compared to Germany now? Is the entire court system captured like it seems to be in Germany? This recent post by CJ Hopkins is frightening:

(CJ Hopkins is being prosecuted a SECOND TIME for simply tweeting a picture of his book cover, "The Rise of the New Normal Reich", which shows a COVID-era mask with a Swastika subtly incorporated into it.)

"So, my second trial for alleged thoughtcrime-tweeting is going ahead as planned on August 15 in Berlin Superior Court (Das Kammergericht). Full-blown anti-terrorism security protocols will be in effect in the courtroom. Yes, that’s right, the Berlin Superior Court denied my attorney’s motion to rescind their special Security Order, so the German authorities will be putting on an elaborate official show of force, which everyone is welcome to attend!

Or, actually, according to the Security Order, only 35 people are welcome to attend. That’s one of the anti-terrorism security protocols. Also, if you do attend, you’ll have to surrender all your personal possessions (i.e., notebooks, phones, wallets, pens, pencils, other writing instruments, wristwatches, hats, and other head coverings, etc.) and any outwear (i.e., jackets, scarves, etc.) and totally empty your pockets of all items, presumably into a plastic bin like the ones they use at airport security, which the Court’s security personnel will carry away and store somewhere while you attend the trial, and which the Superior Court expressly denies any liability for (i.e., for your items). Once you have surrendered all your possessions, and have been body-scanned and metal-detected, and possibly physically patted down, you will be admitted into Room 145a, where you will have to sit in the rear five rows of the gallery, behind a presumably bullet-proof security barrier, so that the security staff can monitor you during the proceedings."
............

..."My punishment for doing that (i.e., criticizing the Covid mask mandates, not spreading Nazi propaganda) has been … well, here I am, on trial, again, in The People’s Court of New Normal Germany. The German authorities had my Tweets censored by Twitter. They reported me to The Federal Criminal Police Office, which is kind of the German FBI. They reported me to The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Germany’s domestic Intelligence agency. My book is banned in Germany. They have damaged my income and reputation as an author. They have forced me to spend thousands of Euros in attorney’s fees to defend myself against these blatantly trumped-up charges. And now they are going to subject me, and my attorney, and anyone who attends my trial, to this humiliating, ham-fisted, official show of force.

If you’re an American (or a Brit, or Australian, or whatever), and you’re thinking this is just a story about Germany, or the EU … well, I’m sorry, but it isn’t. My case is just one of countless examples of the criminalization of dissent that is happening throughout the West. A lot of Americans don’t realize it, but freedom of speech is protected in the German constitution.

My story is not about the differences between the German and American freedom-of-speech protections. It is about the authorities prosecuting government critics like me on fabricated charges, banning our books, and censoring our political speech.

Once a government starts doing that, the protections in its constitution no longer matter. You are no longer dealing with questions of law. You are dealing with the exercise of authoritarian power. That is what my story is about. Any Americans (and any other non-Germans) who have been paying attention to recent events will recognize what I’m talking about."

So I guess my question to those of you living in France, is how much of what's going on in Germany now (also very visible with the case of Dr. Reiner Fuellmich) could possibly occur in France? Are the courts there already as corrupt as those in Germany? Because if so then I could actually see Imane Khelif winning "her" case and setting yet another precedent for the destruction of common morals and decency in the west.

I hope I'm wrong, but as Mr. Hopkins writes above, his case alone will have reverberations throughout the western world regarding "the exercise of authoritarian power." Any case involving Khelif at this time could, too. What a time to be alive...

You can be sure of that, because "catching" it in the mountains, surpassed the degree of absurdity.

Yeah, it was very unimaginative and rather dystopian.

First all the athletes come out and mill around as usual. Then some guy in a golden sparkly suit descends on a wire (amazing!) and prances about a bit on the stage made to look roughly like the world map.

Then a few dozen buff guys (mostly) appear, dressed in mummy cloth so that you could see their tight butts (Macron was no doubt enthralled) and they spent waaaaay too long maneuvering 5 metal rings into position so they can be hoisted up to form the Olympic rings (wow! so creative ).

Then an indie pop French band from the 90s plays a few songs, a black woman sings "my way" for some odd reason, another black woman sings the US national anthem (for the transfer of the Olympics to LA) and then Tom Cruise descends....on a wire (so amazing!) with the Olympic flag.

He gets on a motorbike and rides out of the stadium. At that point, they switch to a pre-recorded video of him driving through the streets of Paris and onto a C-130 military transport plane (so much Murica ).

Cut to Cruise jumping out of the plane over LA. Cut to him landing and running to the Hollywood sign where he staples some colored fabric onto the three Os of the sign that make it into the Olympic symbol (amazing ).

Then he runs into LA with the flag and gives it to some people who are running and they end up at Venice beach in LA where the Red Hot Chilli peppers are playing some old songs on a very small stage in front of a few people. Then snoop dog comes out and sings one of his ancient songs and tries really hard to be excited. THE END. Crap.
Have you ever considered offering your services as a TV presentator? You would do a fantastic job I can tell, and watching the news on mainstream media would become so much more intertaining!🤣

Based on the Work shared here, there is a big difference between intentional (related to intent) and strategic. So intentional yes. Strategic (pertaining to a battle) no. At least as far as I am concerned not in this forum. And I'll end here.

I'm taking what you've written to mean that you're agreeing that your particular way of writing is intentional but you also want to be clear that just because your style is intentional that doesn't mean you're being intentionally combative or intending to make trouble. There's a difference and it's good to be clear on that distinction.

But if that's correct I don't understand why you're still choosing to be so deliberately obtuse. It's frustrating to read and most don't have the time, patience, or energy to decipher whatever you're trying to say.

Write like you're explaining something to a 5-year-old. Or continue doing what you're doing and miss out on an opportunity to be a more valued member of this forum.

My wife just told me that a mile from our house, Billie Eilish performed on a stage set up on the beach in Belmont Shore as part of the closing ceremony, as a sort of handoff to Long Beach/Los Angeles being the site of the 2028 games. It hasn’t even begun and I feel violated.😭
Try to find confort in the fact that at the rate things are going, we will be lucky if we still have civilisation and be able to watch the Los Angeles Olympics😁.

Rest assured that we will support you through this ordeal, (provided we still have internet!)we'll open a thread and bemoan the good old days when Cali was the golden state!!

The PTB better start launching fireworks now because celestial phenomena will be impossible to hide in the near future!
