What's the weather where you are?

SCentral Wisconsin/USA
After a brief January thaw, we're back in the deep freeze. We had a high of 56F/13C yesterday with falling afternoon temps which bottomed out at 12F/-11C (40+ degree drop in about 6 hours!)with strong winds making it bitter again... suns out, though :) Still no snow... :(

Eastern NC, USA:
Damp and warm. Condensation everywhere because house is still cold from recent cold snap. More cold on the way, they say.

While lot of North Hemisphere is in Ice and snow, In Macedonia we are having one of the mildest winters so far.
No snow and Ice and temperatures are above freezing. It looks like late autumn not a winter. Very strange times.

Mid North coast NSW Australia: today was really hot & humid, with temperatures around 35 degrees C, humidity around 80%, followed by thunderstorms this evening with some rain (though not nearly enough).

Western Australia 37 C today, still 27 at 10pm tonight, thunderstorm coming tomorrow, which is very unusual for this part of Australia, normally hot and dry.

Sunny and calm was in Split, Dalmatia today, so i seized an opportunity to bath in Adriatic. Sea water was 12 °C and air not much above - if not colder, more so. (more-sol- sole :cool2: = mare-salt-sun 3D triple effect with cold as possible + fourth dimension adding to it) I've took a total sado-mazo slow entrance approach, just to feel cold seawater embracing every inch of me-vechile (YEAH!!!). And than i swam around for 15-20 min (another YEAH!!!) combing several swimming techniques :grad:. Some toddler was quite impressed with my performance that he also almost entered sea with his garments on, only if his father didn't catch him in the last moment, just before soaking his Sunday shoes - ain't that dramatic or so . I've also noticed some Nordic types filming me with there smrt-phones, so i've committed myself to some flagrant showing-off: just lying on the very surface, absolutely relaxed and balanced within aqua ambient (YEAAAHHHH!) like true wal-rus, hahaha. My protection crystals were also there in the pocket of my trousers. wrigth there on the bench so i hope that this boost of positive energy radiated and was received in wider cass crystals' network .

January the 13th, somewhere on Northern hemisphere - in the wasteland of Crapatia some berserker dared to seriously challenge local socio-paradigms, and - probably n' reportedly was not the only one... On the very same Bucche Beach some dudes are playing picigin all four seasons! :cheer:

...too continue...

:bye:

Montreal and southern Québec: yesterday afternoon it was raining with a nice +6 degrees Celsius, then within 4 hours the temperature dropped by more than 10 degrees and it started snowing. This morning (jan,13th) there was a meter of snow when we awoke, and the thermometer reads minus -12 Celsius, after we just spent 3 hours digging out the cars of the household, and 2 of our friends cars that slept over because of the unsafe driving conditions last night. On this mornings news more than 30 buses had gotten stuck in the snow. Which is rare for Montreal as we are used to this type of weather.

The yo-yo is becoming obvious for most, we go from rain to sleath and snow back to rain, etc... Yet the mainstream propaganda has people doubting that climate change is a serious issue. It is a trend that we need to become accustomed to according to Environment Canada.

I use Weather Underground for long trends (10 days), and they are smack on the money most times since I've used this site (5+ years now)...

Present readings here, there and everywhere, just type in your postal code or geographical coordinates, you can also create your own weather station through this site:

Continues to be chilly and wet here in SW France. Goes to freezing or close at night, then 40s during the day - 7 to 10 C. We had some serious rain the other night, but mostly it just drizzles on and on with breaks now and then.

On the Côte d' Azur in France, we had two three days of sun 12°/14° but cold in the morning 4°, today it does not rain but the sky is well overcast 7°... The week promises to be between 10° and 14° sunny from Tuesday but the morning: 1° to 6°....

Well, what a change we have today, after a warm weekend, as mentioned earlier, it' currently 21.5 c and raining steadily, with 80% humidity :O

At the end of last Autumn the Danish meteorologists (Southern Scandinavia) indicated for good chances of a colder than normal winter. Now half way through, we have not seen much snow and it has been warmer than usual. Some snow is on the way, but the forecasts until the end of the month show nothing very cold. In Greenland the ice sheet mass balance is down to normal for the period of 1981-2010, see _http://www.dmi.dk/groenland/maalinger/indlandsisens-massebalance/

In Mexico City and other parts of the country, and mostly in higher/mountain zones the temperature dropped, supposedely tomorrow will be -3°C, right now is 19°C ... if one is below the sun, being by the shadows felts like 10° or less.

Woke up to a rather chilly 40 degrees F in SE Florida this morning, wind chill of 35 degrees. It seems the mini ice age is well on its way!

This morning in SW North Carolina it's 14 degrees Fahrenheit and snow is on the ground. It's been a much colder than average winter here, as the locals who lived here their whole life have noted. By tomorrow highs will be in the 50s for the next week, so we are getting pretty wild swings in temperature.

Here in Bonn, Germany, I'm sitting on the 2 floor in my apartment and the wind is blowing like we would say in Croatia: "It blows like a 100 devils".
I'm constantly looking if the windows will hold the wind....

They call the storm/cyclone "Friederike"

Storm "Friederike" has arrived with heavy storm gusts in Bonn and the region. Deutsche Bahn has stopped train traffic in NRW, and Cologne / Bonn Airport has canceled its flights.

Because of the storm warning for North Rhine-Westphalia, the direct vicinity of the Cologne Cathedral was partially closed off on Thursday. This was confirmed by a spokesman for the city of Cologne. "Beware rockfall!" Warned a sign.

It's not so cold, 8 degrees with sun and rain mix, but the real feel is -1 degree because of the strong wind.

Two days ago was a mixture of snow and frozen rain, and that frozen rain was the size of M&Ms - also created issues in traffic in NRW area.
