The Voice of Reason During Millennial Madness

11-19-94

Cassiopaeans: Beware of disinformation. It diverts your attention away from reality thus leaving you open to capture and conquest and even possible destruction. Disinformation comes from seemingly reliable sources. It is extremely important for you to not gather false knowledge as it is more damaging than no knowledge at all. Remember knowledge protects, ignorance endangers. Remember, disinformation is very effective when delivered by highly trained sources because hypnotic and transdimensional techniques are used thereby causing electronic anomalies to follow suggestion causing perceived confirmation to occur.

November 5, 1999

Dear Readers,

I sit here at my desk with leaning towers of books on either side of me waiting to be dealt with; there are several series of pages on the site here at Cassiopaea that are begging for completion, and the e-mails from readers with more and deeper questions are piling up in a file of “Questions for the Cassiopaeans.” I have just finished transcribing two additional sessions that I had hoped to post on the site here; and Holidays are coming with attendant duties of “parental units,” as the children refer to us.

Many of the questions in the above mentioned file I am creating, are for a deeper exposition of subjects already covered in the sessions which deserve more attention. Many questions are already answered in the material presented here on the website, and many are questions that have already been answered, but I have simply not gotten them posted in a proper context. If my strength holds up I will get it all finished… or at least further along than it is. It may never be “finished.”

But, with all of this work and correspondence before me, there is one thing that emerges as needing to be addressed at this very moment less than 60 days before the dawning of the “New Millennium,” or so they say.

Of course, those of you who have read the Jesus pages, which are one of those series mentioned above that need to be completed, you will be aware that this artificial numbering system may be quite a bit more “off” than might be supposed. According to the Cassiopaeans, the man, Jesinavarah ben Marnohk, around whom the Jesus Legend was accreted deliberately to lead people away from the true teachings, was born in 14 B.C. by our calendar. This means that the “Year 2000” from the “birth of Christ,” has already come and gone – it was in 1985 or 1986, depending on how you count.

In recent times I have received much e-mail from many folks who want to know how to respond to all the information being propagated at the present time about impending strikes to the planet of an extraterrestrial body; of Y2K problems; of “Giant Chaldeans” who are supposed to be roaming the planet, wreaking havoc because they have been “awakened” by the breaching of the “Hall of Records,” popularly known as “HOR.”

Then, there was the panic over the Nostradamus issue in conjunction with the eclipse of August and the appearance of Comet Lee; there is the predicted strike of some sort of “body” off the coast of Africa either tomorrow, or just a few days from now… I forgot which!

And, associated with the Nostradamus, eclipse and Comet thing, there was the hogwash about all the “Royal Families” in Europe being Lizards, dancing nude and drinking blood from a sacrificed virgin or a baby – I forgot which on that one, too!

And we musn’t forget the “Hale-Bopp Flopp,” which, unbelievably, some folks are still trying to milk for significance!

Most pathetic of all is the linking of the recent EgyptAir crash to this HOR nonsense.

We need to get a grip on our minds here!

The following excerpts from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Sunday, September 19, 1999 | 6:41 a.m. By Bill Lambrecht, give us a clue as to what may really be going on: (the bold text will be mine)

WASHINGTON – Analysts at Deutsche Bank in Germany came up with some grim conclusions this summer about the financial prospects for genetically modified crops, saying companies such as Monsanto were losing battle after battle.

A few years ago, the German report never would have traveled outside the rarefied air of global investors. But that was before the World Wide Web.

This month, a consultant in Idaho arranged for the bank analysis to be posted on the Web, and in three days, thousands of people had downloaded the 25-page report and further disseminated it around the globe. Critics, farmers and people still making up their minds about the new technology had a new piece of information.

The Internet is enabling mobilization like never before and, in the process, giving biotechnology companies fits.

…What is behind the recent developments?

…No single factor looms larger in biotechnology’s tumble than the role of the Internet. The Web has given critics and skeptics the arena to post studies, opinions and vitriol for the world to consume. E-mail and listserves — electronic mailing lists — enable activists to work with one another and to exchange scraps of information instantly. All the activity leaves the impression, real or imagined, of a vibrant global movement.

…As it stands, one powerful new technology may be functioning to stem the growth of another powerful new technology.

The Idaho consultant who distributed the German report, Charles Benbrook, contends that people who had misgivings in the past about farm and food policies had no means to link up and reinforce their beliefs. The Internet has changed all that.

“Activists can transfer fresh and important information around the world with speed and ease,” Benbrook said. “And that’s something we’ve never experienced before.”

...The Internet is becoming an important factor in politics and public policy debates on a host of issues. Until recently, interest groups usually consisted of associations with national memberships and slick magazines. Now, with the Internet, people can mobilize and pressure governments with the push of a button.

“It changes the presumptions of representative democracy,” said Phil Noble, a political consultant and founder of PoliticsOnline. “I think the Internet is going to do for public policy what the telephone did for lobbying.”

People can be mobilized, too, in ways that don’t give a true picture of public sentiment.

“In literally a matter of hours, I can create an interest group of tens of thousands on whatever my issue is right now, and mobilize them to send mail, e-mail or even rotten eggs,” Noble said.

Political scientist Michael Cornfield of George Washington University said “cyberlobbying” soon will dominate grass-roots organizing because of its speed and low cost.

Distorting reality?

…A relatively few activists have been able to create a sense of movement that didn’t exist before the Internet… As a result, news outlets and others believe there’s more out there than there really is…

“It’s a dual-edged sword,” Monsanto’s Jay Byrne said. “On one hand, the Internet allows people with opinions or even spurious facts to share that information broadly. But at the same time, it allows the public access to scientific and academic information… The challenge lies in discerning between the two.

Now, even though this article was written with a particular subject in mind: feeding the world through biotechnology which is being slammed by numerous “Green organizations,” the point is made that the Internet is a powerful tool for good and for evil; or, to put it in the terms of the Cassiopaeans, for “Service to Others” or “Service to Self.”

Very often, the websites that promote action use very scary tactics! They work people into a panic by presenting certain things as being “hidden” from them, and that these “hidden things” are a personal threat to their health, safety, freedom, and pursuit of happiness. And then they go on to “bash” those who are hiding things. In some cases, what they are saying may be partly or all true. And, in many more cases, what they are saying may be partly or all lies!

Last Sunday, October 31st, the Washington Post printed from which I have extracted the following segments: (Again, emphasis is mine.)

FBI Warns Of Millennial Violence Risk Police Vigilance Urged As New Year Approaches

By David A. Vise and Lorraine Adams Washington Post Staff Writers Sunday, October 31, 1999;

The FBI is warning police chiefs across the country that it has discovered evidence of religious extremists, racists, cults and other groups preparing for violence as New Year’s Eve approaches and is urging law enforcement agencies to view the dawn of the next millennium as a catalyst for criminal activities.

The FBI says those most likely to perpetrate violence are motivated either by religious beliefs relating to the Apocalypse, or are New World Order conspiracists convinced the United Nations has a secret plan to conquer the world.

In a 34-page report prepared by the bureau’s domestic terrorism unit, the FBI says some members of militias and racist groups, including one called “Christian Identity” and another called “Odinism,” [Laura’s note: these are “White Supremacist” groups.] are acquiring weapons and surveying targets in anticipation of the millennium. …

[…]

The report says the risks will increase as Jan. 1 approaches. “If a cult sells its property and personal effects and purchases guns and explosives, we need to be more concerned about what that cult will do on January 1,” Gallagher said.

Computer problems brought on by Y2K glitches could be a triggering event for some groups, the FBI believes. While most people understand that power outages or other problems resulting from Y2K problems can be explained rationally, the report notes that some radical groups or individual extremists may view these events either as signs that the end of the world is near or as part of a larger conspiracy that they must violently oppose, the report says.

The threat posed by extremists as a result of perceived events associated with the Year 2000 (Y2K) is very real,” the FBI report says. “The volatile mix of apocalyptic religious and [New World Order] conspiracy theories may produce violent acts aimed at precipitating the end of the world as prophesied in the Bible.”

The report is the result of a nine-month intelligence-gathering effort called “Project Megiddo” by the bureau’s domestic terrorism unit, which also relied on information gathered by agents in FBI field offices. […]

While most of the report focuses on domestic threats, an entire portion is devoted to Jerusalem, where the FBI says an influx of tourists making pilgrimages and millennial cults will add to the danger. The study also says violence in Jerusalem, a holy city for Christians, Jews and Muslims, could lead to problems in the United States and around the world.

…”Israeli officials are extremely concerned that the Temple Mount, an area already seething with tension and distrust among Muslims and Jews, will be the stage for violent encounters between religious zealots,” the study says. ”

Armed with the urgency of the millennium as a motivating factor, new clandestine groups may conceivably form to engage in violence toward the U.S. government or its citizens,” the FBI report warns.

[…] Gallagher intends to advise the police chiefs this week that it is important to prepare now for the unusually wide range of interpretations people may bring to random events occurring on or near Jan. 1, 2000, and the role that the Internet may play in spreading information–or misinformation–rapidly.

“The name ‘Megiddo,’ ” the FBI report begins, “is an apt title for a project that analyzes those who believe the year 2000 will usher in the end of the world and who are willing to perpetrate acts of violence to bring that end about.” © Copyright 1999 The Washington Post Company Print Edition

Now, I recently had an exchange with an individual who also thinks that folks should get some SOLID FACTS before they go off half-cocked. We discussed the recent, overabundant spate of lies and confusion largely propagated on various websites, but the one we were discussing, in particular, is even more misleading than a site with an obvious agenda, because it is constantly being touted on this site that it is a site that “seeks truth. The author of this website is continuously asking for “SLEUTHS” to check out various stories, but what is usually posted is NOT research, but assumptions and hypotheses.

Well, I have had some experience with this site and how it responds to research. In the exchange with the above mentioned individual, who wishes to remain anonymous, and who does not wish to have his own very informative remarks quoted for personal reasons, I wrote as follows:

[…] I once or twice mentioned [that these rumors ought to have some REAL evidence] to [The creator of a popular website which keeps a running list of new “horrors” on the planet] but it was NOT one of the e-mails posted on his site. He repeatedly asks for “sleuths,” but other than observations by, what I can only detect as “highly excitable”, observers, he doesn’t post any real variety of investigation.

Case in point: Re his “White Mountain” rumors. I have correspondents who live in Durango, not far from there… two ladies – middle aged professionals. I sent this info to them, they decided to “investigate.”

So, they packed up camping gear, put on their best “tourist clothes,” and set off to play the roll of “air head female tourists” to see what they could see.

They visited the chamber of commerce in the area with the story that they were thinking of retiring to the area. They were given maps, land histories, brochures, etc.

With this info, they visited all sorts of places around the county and went on tours of land and countryside, talked to residents, and on and on. When they could, they laughingly brought up the “rumor” [as was posted on the above mentioned “popular” website.]

Well, the residents of the area were either highly amused or upset and outraged. After it was all over and they found that the source of the rumor was a memo sent out by the local post office regarding disaster preparedness and had nothing to do with the way it was presented on the web.

Mmy friends wrote up an account of everything they did and saw and posted it to [the website in question]

Did he put it on the website under the other info about White Mountain?

No.

At that point, I KNEW something was up and that his agenda, if such there can be, was simply to create terror and panic as a form of “art,” perhaps.

Yup. But, the problem is, in my opinion, that (hold onto your hat, here comes a “conspiracy” theory), that this sort of thing is encouraged by folks unknown.

I once read a book by a highly credentialled journalist about drug trafficking and the riots of the 60’s here in the U.S. He interviewed and dug, and interviewed and dug, went undercover, and all kinds of things. What he found out would make your hair stand on end.

He discovered serious links between the drug trade and the gov… not only that, he discovered that many riots were caused by gov “plants” whose job it was to plant rumors, stir people up, get things crazy, so as to serve a particular agenda which he was never quite able to penetrate.

At the present time we have a veritable orgy of conspiracy theories and rumors… and an article published in the Washington Post on last Sunday about an FBI study of “rumor mongering and millennnial groups” of all kinds, and their potential threat for causing violence in the upcoming months…

What it amounts to, if my reading between the lines is correct, is that many of these folks who perpetrate and perpetuate these rumors are being not only encouraged, but their actions are being “fed” by the various claimed “insider info” or “confidential informants” so as to generate panic, anxiety and all that sort of thing for some as yet unknown reason (as the journalist found, you can never really pin it down.)

Lies and confusion reign supreme in our time, and violence is escalating.

A long time friend of mine who spent a number of years in Army Intelligence and who would never tell me anything that he had signed an oath not to tell, DID tell me this: look at any social and political situation you choose and assume, for theoretical purposes, that it is INTENDED. Then, you only have to extrapolate backwards to find who has the means of creating it, and then extrapolate forwards to discover who might benefit.

Who would benefit from social and political chaos? Perhaps a “maverick group” with designs on our freedoms. Just a thought. [Or worse, an “alien nation” with designs on our planet!]

And here is where we pull all of this together. I hope that the reader has by now already figured out that there is, very likely, some vast “program” designed to create mass confusion on the planet by spreading lies and rumors. Whether it is aliens or a “Secret Government” is a moot point. It doesn’t matter. And, if it IS aliens, then they most likely work through human agents. And, these human agents can be manipulated with or WITHOUT their own awareness! Those who have read these pages already know about how this works!

If anybody is being manipulated and “controlled” by the “Secret Government,” whatever it may be, it is the spreaders of rumors without proof, and “millennial groups” propagating imminent “End of The World” scenarios. It is also those who attack the ones who are asking for something more than a rumor or a “confidential informant” who they claim is reliable, but who is unable or unwilling to be identified with their statements. In SOME cases, this CAN be the case, but it has become a cheap excuse for lack of responsibility in recent times.

Many of those who propagate the rumors are innocent, as I said above, manipulated by forces that they are unaware of and over which they have no control. They are, in effect, puppets. But, if you mention that they MIGHT check things in other ways and with other sources, that they COULD be mistaken, they become rather violent which is, to me, a curious response to honest seeking of Truth.

Many people claim to be searching for truth, and they believe that the truth is being hidden from them. I agree that this is probably the case. But, we must always remember the principles of Machiavelli by which these forces operate: make someone else look guilty so that the real source can remain hidden.

But, when one of these sites that is supposed to be devoted to finding the “Truth” does not post an honest report from a different point of view, what can we think about their agenda?

Is it that they have a definite plan to spread lies and disinformation? Perhaps. Perhaps not. It can also be that their minds are so locked into what they want to BELIEVE, that they cannot be opened to truth.

And that is the key to finding the truth… to be Open Minded. And to check and double check your findings before you share them. Otherwise, you are an Agent of the Negative Forces; the Darkness.

The problem lies in the RESULTS of all this Rumor Mongering. What if the agenda is to “Divide and Conquer,” whether it comes through legislation to “protect” us from our own selves which results in mandating restrictions on free speech via the internet? Or, what if all of this rumor spreading results in acts of violence that ushers in Martial Law as a necessity?

What, exactly, are we doing to ourselves here? It is not just a question of being skeptical or doing our research carefully; our very lives could depend on taking responsibility for what we say and do!

Remember:

Skepticism, the ability not to be fooled, is important. But skepticism can be “cheap.” It is easy to disbelieve everything, and some scholars seem to take this approach. A better approach is to embrace ideas, to consider nothing absurd, and spend the necessary time to examine it closely and minutely. If you throw away puzzle pieces indiscriminately, you may never complete the puzzle!

But, when you find the flaw, even a small one, if it is solidly established as a flaw, you must be prepared to ruthlessly kill the idea and move to another.

“Scientific training doesn’t keep your senses from fooling you, but a good scientist doesn’t accept the impressions his senses deliver. He uses them as a starting point, and then he checks, and double checks. He looks for additional evidence, and for consistency among his measurements. A scientist differs from other people in that he knows how easily he is fooled, and he goes through procedures to compensate.” [Muller, 1988, emphases mine.]

Regarding this subject, The Cassiopaeans have made many comments about prophecy and the ones that stick in my mind the most are the following:

01-07-96

Q: (P) I would like to know about the apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Conyers, GA, as well as this book “Mary’s Message to the World” and all the other messages about the End Times that are coming out all over?

A: The forces at work here are far too clever to be accurately anticipated so easily. You never know what twists and turns will follow, and they are aware of prophetic and philosophical patternings and usually shift course to fool and discourage those who believe in fixed futures.

01-26-96

Q: (L) Sheldon Nidle has written a book called “Becoming a Galactic Human.” He has said that the Earth is going to go into a photon belt sometime this summer, that there is going to be 3 days of darkness, and the poo is going to hit the fan, so to speak, the aliens are going to land in the late summer or the fall, and they are all coming here to help us. Could you comment on these predictions?

A: No.

Q: (L) Is a fleet of aliens going to land on Earth and be announced by the media in 1996?

A: No.

Q: (P) In 1997?

A: No.

Q: (L) Could you comment on the source of this book: “Three days of Darkness,” by Divine Mercy?

A: Source?!?

Q: (L) Well, is there going to be 3 days of darkness in 1998 like it says?

A: Why does this continue to be such a popular notion? And, why is everyone so obsessed with, are you ready for this, trivia…? Does it matter if there is three days of darkness?!? Do you think that is the “be all and end all?” What about the reasons for such a thing?… at all levels, the ramifications? It’s like describing an atomic war in prophecy by saying: “Oh my, oh my, there is going to be three hours of a lot of big bangs, oh my!!”

Q: (L) Well, you didn’t say it wasn’t going to happen in the fall of 1998. Is it?

A: First of all, as we have warned you repeatedly, it is literally impossible to attach artificially conceived calendar dates to any sort of prophecy or prediction for the many reasons that we have detailed for you numerous times. [Note: the ‘fluid’ nature of the future. Probability, etc.] And we have not said that this was going to happen.

Q: (L) I know that you are saying that this 3 days of darkness is trivial considering the stupendous things that are involved in realm crossings. But, a lot of these people are interpreting this as just 3 days of darkness.. then wake up in paradise. I would like to have some sort of response to this question.

A: You should already know that to attempt apply 3rd density study and interpretations to 4th density events and realities is useless in the extreme… This is why UFO researchers keep getting 3 new questions for every 1 answer they seek with their “research.”

09-25-99

Q: I would like to address some particular issues. Apparently, there is an awful lot of speculation on the internet in various places about ‘disasters’ of various sorts. There was Comet Lee back a few months ago; then the Nostradamus issue was brought in creating a general panic; now there are other calls of alarm being raised. The disasters on the planet are being attributed to, among other things, the passage of Comet Lee through the Solar System. There are speculations that asteroids or other cometary type bodies are going to cause imminent disasters because of their electrical interactions with the Sun and other bodies of the Solar System. The Internet has, essentially, become a Grand Forum for Doomsday Prognostications. Site after site is waiting for an imminent strike of the planet by some celestial body. I mean, we just have a few days left according to one site! I know that we have dealt with many of these issues before, but the hysteria among some groups is increasing, being bred, generated, being transmitted and encouraged via the Internet. Could you comment please?

A: Normally, we do not “comment ” to a non-inquiry, but let it be said that many cling to “doomsday” prophetic calamaties as a means to absolve personal frustrations with others. I.E. “Just you wait, Henry Higgins, just you wait!!”

[…]

Q: Well, that is, of course, the response that we often get to that. Some folks out there are just bound and determined to disinform the public!

A: And so it goes…

Q: Now, there IS an awful lot of weird stuff going on! There was the earthquake in Turkey; there was an earthquake in Taiwan; there were hurricanes; a fireball in Turkey; strange radar anomalies, as they call them. In fact, one of these circular things showed up on our local radar when the tropical storm was heading our way. Could you tell us what is behind all of these …

A: Well, first of all, it is true that some heavenly bodies transiting the Solar System, such as some comets, do indeed interract electrically with the Sun and the planets. This does cause an increase in natural calamaties, but this is not new.

Q: There is also a theory of Paul La Violette, that there is a wave that comes from explosions in the galactic core, and that THIS is what is behind this increased activity.

A: Such waves exist.

Q: Are these waves part of the cataclysmic double catastrophes that are predicted to be “on the way?”

A: Who says?

Q: Well, Paul La Violette and others, for example.

A: You are not capable of predicting such things yet.

Q: (A) We are not able to predict many things. You are able to predict better than us.

A: Maybe so, but we do so oh so discreetly.

Q: When you gave the information a couple of weeks ago about the “Kaboom! Splat!” business, I put it on the website and explained that there was really no way of interpreting it exactly. Of course, there were the most dire interpretations put upon it by others. Could you clarify the “Kaboom! Splat!” remark?

A: We also said to “lighten up.”

Q: When you say that we should “lighten up,” that you are referring to our frequencies?

A: Well, it is important not to worry over that wahich is not changeable, and which is trivial in the really big picture. If the surface 3rd density realm of your locator is soon to be rent asunder, why does it matter to you, or more to the point, why does it frighten you so? You are supposed to be moving beyond this 3rd density STS thinking.

Q: What’s the point of even talking to you guys, then?

A: Do you expect to stop talking to us after you transition?

Q: Well, I guess it depends on where I transition to. Are we going to make the big transition to 5th density…

A: Wherever you go, the communication will be more succinct. Now, even if “nothing happens,” how long do you expect to remain in your present state? Can you remember “35 years ago?” Well??

Q: I am thinking! I was just a kid then. Yes, I can remember.

A: How long “back” does it seem?

Q: Sometimes it seems like forever…

A: No. Q: In another way, it seems like yesterday.

A: Yes.

Q: It just depends on what mood I am in.

A: Not long, eh?

Q: Well, you are NOT improving my mood! I don’t want to tell people things like that, that they have to see themselves as only souls and that the physical body is just a garment to be worn out and tossed aside. They can’t handle it when they are faced with imminent possible suffering. They will get hysterical!

A: Maybe they will. And maybe they need to. Maybe they need to learn something. Nothing lasts forever, and thank goodness for that!

Q: You have talked about space battles and cosmic struggles and individuals and beings and races of beings coming from one direction or another to act in this cosmic drama…

A: It is part and parcel of the energy that maintains all existence, as are you all.

Q: You also once said that there were “good guys” and “bad guys.”

A: From a chosen perspective.

Q: Does that mean that the “good guys” and “bad guys” CHOOSE to undertake these roles for the sake of this Cosmic Drama?

A: Yes, to some extent. It also means that to the fishes and the cockroaches, et al, “you is de bad guys.” Subjectivity reigns in STS!

04-22-95

A: We are trying to teach you to use your most precious commodity.

Q: (L) And that is, of course, our minds?

A: You betcha!

07-23-95

A: Now do you see the benefit in slowing down and not having prejudices when asking questions of great import? You see when you speed too quickly in the process of learning and gathering knowledge, it is like skipping down the road without pausing to reflect on the ground beneath you. One misses the gold coins and the gemstones contained within the cracks in the road.

06-10-95

A: This is the correct way to go about discovering the answer to this question rather than demanding all of the answers of us. You have the capabilities to pull the answers from within. We are more than happy to assist, but out goal is to help you strengthen yourselves for future use, if you will. It all helps one to advance and progress. All there is is lessons. It’s all learning. Therefore, the quickest, the strongest way to learn is to use your own capabilities to that end. Asking us questions is certainly permitted, and helpful, but trying to seek all of the information from this particular source, in the long run, may be detrimental.
