Spring, 2002: As I write the Adventures With Cassiopaea Series and its supplements, readers are busy sending their feedback and the Quantum Future School continues to assess and analyze our observations for deeper insight. This last process has brought us many advances in the “heating of the crucible” of our experiences which, as the C’s pointed out, is of great benefit:
Q: (A) A related question concerning our internet activities which have been going on for some time, and we do it because we feel that it is necessary, but we don’t really know or understand what is the real purpose of what we are doing. Some people are reading our pages and writing letters, and then they disappear or they are discouraged, or they do nothing on their own. We are expending a lot of time on this publishing of information, but without clear understanding of what we are supposed to accomplish by this. (L) At this point, it is not accomplishing a whole lot except drawing down fire on our heads! (A) Right!
A: You should rejoice! From the fire comes light. Patience pays. You are on the right track. Fear not, have we steered you wrong a lot lately?
That’s all fine and good and easy for the C’s to say; they aren’t the ones taking the heat! As the well-informed reader might expect, as a result of the two previous articles on Rene Schwaller de Lubicz, there have been serious ripples in the Matrix.
One reason for this may be exactly what we reported: because Schwaller and others of his ilk are the “inspiration” for the current “New Egyptology” and Occult Uniformitarian Synarchy which is the underlying philosophy behind most New Age Vacuum Cleaner operations being propagated on the unsuspecting public at the present time.
We have covered to some extent, the “teachings” of Schwaller, showing their premise, and have compared this to the position of the Cassiopaeans on similar subjects. We have further related these teachings to the problem of Time Loops and the Atlantean Replay Trap being set by hyperdimensional self-serving beings with what appear to be plans to take over our planet and turn it into their own private “energy farm,” which does not include any beneficial plans for humanity in general. Naturally, exposing these things inevitably leads to either the appearance on the scene of new “agents” of the Matrix, or the “reprogramming” and/or repositioning of those agents already set up on the Game Board.
The Adventures With Cassiopaea Series was begun as an effort to develop understanding of the actions and motivations of the various “agents,” because it is only in the broader context that we can understand that there is a “forest” and not just a couple of trees. It is also only in this broader context that the full multi-millennial, hyperdimensional nature of the “Game” can be seen.
Most of the small potatoes “game pieces,” such as Vincent Bridges, Jay Weidner, and others of their ilk would swear to their dying day that they are not “agents of the Matrix.” And, as far as what they are aware of, they are correct. They are pawns with no necessity – or even capacity – to comprehend the significance of the game being played. They are “reaction machines,” with a “panel of buttons” that get pushed or dials that get twisted via their environment or associations. It would make as much sense to be angry at them as to be angry at a rabid dog for having the disease and foaming at the mouth.
But such people are often very much like the protagonist in the movie “Arlington Road,” where, because of their nature as “reaction machines,” they are subject to extreme manipulation by very clever puppet masters. In the end, they only accomplish exactly what they think they are trying to avoid – they take the bomb into the building. And in our reality, the “terrorists” are hyperdimensional, and far more capable than the gang of terrorists in Arlington Road. I highly recommend this movie for insight into our problems in 3rd density.
As I was finishing up the Schwaller de Lubicz articles, I received a “surprise” package in the mail. A reader had sent me a little book entitled Darkness Over Tibet. by a certain Theodore Illion. It was originally published in English in 1937 and is about Illion’s purported trip into Tibet between 1934 and 1936. The name was an intriguing word clue since, at one point in the past five years, I did a lot of studying on the subject of Illion and Troy, including the related word studies.
I was curious about the origins of this book and undertook to discover if it was just another “Lobsang Rampa” type of thing. I could find no biographical details about T. Illion, except for the fact that he used other pseudonyms for other works, and that yes, the original book had been published in German as Ratfelhaftes Tibet, in Hamburg, in 1936. I was able to obtain a first edition from a bookseller in Amsterdam to establish the provenance of the book, but I thought it was strange that I could only find one listed with the many antiquarian book sellers I contacted. The English Rider edition was brought out a year later. Establishing that the book was published at this early date is one thing, discovering information about the background of the author is another. There just doesn’t seem to be any.
I did read several very unfavorable reviews of the book on amazon, most of which were skeptical of the stories in the book itself. However, being familiar with the most definitely verified travels and writings of Alexandra David-Neel, I could see that these criticisms came from people who were not very familiar with such work. Yet, I had to agree that the story seemed to be somewhat “artificial,” even if certain elements of it struck me as being factual in that, if they had been made up, a different and more satisfying resolution would have been given them.
I next checked the chronology of events in terms of David-Neel’s travels, and realized that the Illion book was written precisely during the period when Alexandra was ensconced in France, writing and lecturing widely. In fact, this book came out immediately after she had returned from her long treks in Tibet and had settled down for a period. That struck me as an interesting item. I thought that it was possible that this T. Illion was a student of hers, or even a nom de plume of either herself or her sidekick, Lama Yongden. However, the fact that the book was written in German argues against it being either David-Neel herself, or her companion. So, if there is any connection, it would probably be a student or colleague. In any event, there are several reasons for suspecting some sort of connection between Illion and David-Neel.
One of T. Illion’s other pseudonyms is “Theodore Burang.” The name “Burang” seems to be a Tibetan “county.” The name ‘Theodor(e)’ means ‘lover of God’; ‘Illion’ is related to the ancient city “Ilium.” In 1863, Charles Maclaren wrote:
Ilium was for a considerable period to the Heathen world, what Jerusalem is now to the Christian, a ‘sacred’ city which attracted pilgrims by the fame of its wars and its woes, and by the shadow of ancient sanctity reposing upon it. Without abusing language, we may say that a voice speaking from this hill, three thousand years ago sent its utterances over the whole ancient world, as its echoes still reverberate over the modern. [The Plain of Troy Described]
In Homer’s Iliad, the Achaeans were fighting against Trojans, and we have already discussed some speculative possibilities about the Time Loop factor, Atlantis vs. The “Athenians,” being the original “Trojan War” to which later wars were assimilated in the mythicization process discussed in our book The Secret History of The World, and how it may relate to the present day struggle between the forces of Darkness and Light.
As if to point in this direction, in a third book by Ms. David-Neel co-authored by her Tibetan lama/monk/companion, Lama Yongden, makes reference to yet another book by her:
“La Vie surhumaine de Guesar de Ling (the Tibetan Iliad)“. The words in parentheses are hers.” [The Secret Oral Teachings in Tibetan Buddhist Sects. The quote was from Note 7 at the bottom of page 114, City Lights, San Francisco, 1967.]
Another interesting relation between the two books – David-Neel’s and Illion’s – is the fact that both of them mention Padmasambhava as being the progenitor of a “degenerate sect of Tantric Buddhism.” David-Neel also writes about the many Tibetan occultists, vulgar sorcerers, who only seek to acquire magic powers – the primary subject of Darkness Over Tibet.
The introduction to the currently available edition of Darkness Over Tibet tells us that it is in the form of “classic travel writings of the 1930′s. It is believed that Illion’s accounts of Tibet were instrumental in persuading the Nazi government of Germany to send yearly expeditions into Tibet.”
T. Illion wrote in the preface to Darkness Over Tibet:
In my book In Secret Tibet I have given an outline of my recent journey to Tibet [...] After witnessing various marvels [...] I reached the final stage of the journey in the most inaccessible part of the country where live the genuine Tibetan hermits, who can read people’s thoughts and possess the strange power to maintain themselves young almost indefinitely.
David-Neel also writes about such, as well as those who achieve this state by the “Dark method,” telling us that this method seems to involve the consumption of human flesh. She tells us:
There exist, so [some anchorites belonging to the Dzogschen sect] said, certain human beings who have attained such a height degree of spiritual perfection, that the original material substance of their bodies has become transmuted into a more subtle one which possesses special qualities. [...] A morsel of their transformed flesh, when eaten, will produce a special kind of ecstasy and bestow knowledge and supernormal powers upon the person partaking of it.
David-Neel describes for us the rituals of these “sacred feasts” in some detail, and the feeling that one begins to get about the whole Tibetan “spiritualism” is one of revulsion.
Nevertheless, she confirms that there are mystics and hermits who are of the light, though it seems that the vast majority of Tibetan mysticism is purely and simply black magic and sorcery.
Getting back to Illion, he writes about the rare, few and far between Wise men:
My talks with these wise men, which are recorded in my earlier book, reflect a certain degree of understanding of the vital problems of Life and Death, spiritual crimes, Salvation and Eternity, and many of my readers will have wondered how the author arrived at a degree of understanding which made these spiritual contacts possible.
Let me say, then, in this connection, that real understanding in spiritual matters is the result of much bitter fighting, of suffering, spiritual agony and soul passion. Life itself would have no meaning if there was no fighting on all planes, if all was smooth and monotonous. Everything fights in nature. Every plant fights to get more sunlight. Every animal fights for food; the angels themselves fight. Constant struggle on all planes to which it has access is the birthright of the creature. Woe to him who wants to put himself on a level with the Creator and escape fighting! [...]
On my travels I have met some of the highest spiritual entities incarnated in the flesh, and not only those working for the Creator but also those working against him.
Even the fires of hell have their mission. They destroy man if he is weak, but if he is strong they purify by burning the dross away. [...]
Spirituality actually is a very stormy ocean. The currents of life are interwoven, and Good and Evil, Light and Shadow, are within a hairbreadth from each other. [Illion, Darkness Over Tibet, 1937, Rider & Co, London, Reprinted by Adventures Unlimited Press, 1991]
Since I was so struck by the perspective of T. Illion which so closely coincided with many things the C’s had said, I decided to ask the C’s about this book, if it was a report of a real 3rd density travel experience, or not. Their response was most interesting:
A: It is a disguise for conveying truths of a spiritual nature as well as a depiction of 4th density realities.
At the same time that I was considering the problem of this book, several members of the Quantum Future School had the following exchange:
After mulling over the Adventures stuff about the plausible lie, and happening to receive an email that turned out to be an “urban legend”, I was struck by something… Laura had mentioned that when we *believe* a lie, we end up “feeding” the creator of the lie. There seems to be a veritable plethora of these urban legends, hoaxes, etc. going around the Internet, and it makes me wonder if the reason for their creation is that each time someone reads and believes these “plausible lies”, it feeds the person who created it…
There are a lot of movies that try to “yank” a person’s emotions, and if one gives into the emotional manipulation — effectively “believing” the lie — I’ve noticed that one tends to feel drained afterwards… Is this something similar? When one becomes involved in the “lie”, one is effectively “believing” it, and thus “feeds” the creator of the lie (which doesn’t have to be 3D)? Does this seem right?
Another member responded:
Really good point, that believing in a lie feeds its creator. If true, then here’s another thought with frightening implications: one of the biggest lies is linear time, and we know who created that for us…
Since I had just finished reading Illion’s book, and it was so a apropos, I wrote the following:
This recent Illion book addresses this subject in a certain way that really struck me. In the following, Illion is having a conversation with a young brigand, a temporary traveling companion:
It seems that Tibet has a lot of monasteries and the interest in religion is very intense there. Illion points out that there are festivals celebrated throughout the year at the various monasteries, attracting many pilgrims. He mentions that:
[O]n those occasions a gay and cheerful atmosphere reigns supreme, in strange contrast to the teaching of the Buddhists, asserting that all life is inherently bad and that escaping from the wheel of rebirths and all forms of material existence is the supreme goal of the Buddhists.
Illion learns that, not far from where he is studying various meditation exercises, there is a monastery where a famous oracle was going to visit and do his thing in public. Illion is very interested in witnessing this spectacle and travels to this nearby monastery where the pilgrims are pouring in for the big event. Additionally, a religious play was going to be presented by the lamas of the monastery.
The description of the demons “riding the oracle” is pretty interesting, but what is even more curious is that after his “event,” he is handed a big sword, about 25 pounds of substantial steel, that he grasps in his bare hands and “folds” it as though it were made of soft wax. Shades of Yuri Geller! (Keep in mind that this account was written in 1936.)
The crowd in the monastery went into a sort of frenzy upon witnessing this miraculous metal-bending event. Illion comments:
Crowds easily fuse into one “group soul,” and then the individual no longer behaves as he would behave individually. Crowds really are not the sum total of all the individualities present. They seem to be a suddenly formed new entity actuated by a kind of “group soul.” It is man sinking back temporarily into the “group consciousness” from which civilized man is just about to emerge. I think only the greatest of the great [are] fully and definitely individualized and beyond the possibility of lapsing back temporarily into group consciousness.
We of course wonder just what is going on when Yuri demonstrates his ability and people all over the world are able to bend metal as well during such exercises.
The “police lamas” came out to beat the crowd into line, and during the lamas’ crowd control activities, Illion meets a young girl with whom he has a conversation. Because Illion comes across to her as so knowledgeable on spiritual subjects, she inadvertently drops a hint about her own teacher and the existence of a “Hidden City.” Illion is very intrigued. At this point, the conversation diverts to Illion’s lack of fear evidenced by the fact that he is traveling alone and sleeps in the open without worrying about bandits or wild animals. The exchange that followed is s is another fascinating tidbit:
“Are you never attacked by animals?”
“Seldom, ” I answered. “The animals which are on the rising branch of life are very kind to me. I do not think even a lion would attack me, although I never met one. I have had very pleasant experiences, though, with bears and some other so-called wild animals.”
“I heard a story about a bear,” said Dolma. “I will tell it to you. Perhaps you will be able to tell me whether such a thing can happen… A man who often broke the law which prohibits hunting had obtained a white man’s death stick in the Lhasa district, and when he returned to his province he went out bear-hunting. He had shot several bears, but one day, just while he followed the track of an animal, a strong bear suddenly appeared just behind his back… [...] The hunter was so afraid when he saw the big bear just behind his back that he dropped his gun and stared aghast at the animal, who could have crushed him in a couple of seconds. [...] The bear looked at the frail creature who stood tremblingly before him, his gun lying at his feet, and calmly walked away.”
“I can believe that, ” I said, “for bears have a soul, although they are only at times individualized. By the way, it is easy to say whether the hunter in the story had a soul or not.”
“If the hunter had a soul, it was impossible for him to take up the gun to shoot after the bear. If he was soulless, he would have done so at once.”
“Are there soulless animals too?”
“Oh yes. The animals on the descending branch of life are soulless. [...] Ravens, rats, mice – vermin, for instance.”
“They behave like a soulless man?”
“Did these entities inhabit men before?”
“Perhaps, many thousand years ago. When they lost their soul they began to move downward.”
“It is very strange. When I visited India I heard so much about progressive evolution – that life always passed upward, that the souls in minerals became souls in plants, then in animals, and after this in man, and that man finally must become an angel and that all this is only a question of time.”
“Life would have no meaning if there was no alternative between light and darkness,” I said. “There are two currents of life. One is moving upward and the other downward. The moment one loses one’s soul one is precipitated into the downward current.”
“How can one lose one’s soul?”
“By sinning against one’s soul.”
“By a sensual life?”
“Oh no, in most cases that is a sin against one’s body. You may suffer for it in this life or in some future incarnation.”
“By treating other’s badly, then?”
“No, as a rule, even this is no sin against your soul. You will get your punishment for treating others badly in this or some future incarnation, although wanton cruelty to defenceless creatures, ratlike ingratitude, or an innate tendency to spy on others already reveal a certain degree of soullessness which may be due to sins committed against one’s soul in former incarnations.”
“Well, then, what is a sin against one’s soul?”
“Using spiritual things for selfish purposes. Dragging God down to earth. Trying to put oneself on a level with the Creator.”
“Then many of us here sin like that!”
“Yes, but also people in other countries.”
Illion brings this subject up a number of times and it certainly defines the “bottom line” of the STS reality of “wishful thinking.” To tell lies and live in an illusion is, effectively, “using God for selfish purposes.” He says that each such act of this chips away at one’s free will, one’s soul, etc. This sort of makes it important to really do research and check things out. Our recent experiences with Vincent Bridges certainly suggest that there are people who have lied so much and so long – maybe for many lifetimes – that they have very little, if any, soul left.
Another discussion group member then wrote:
This was a wonderful story, and I agree. Psychopaths seem to fit the profile of one whose soul is slowly shrinking into the abyss. A question popped into my mind as I read the above story. If an STS oriented being continues along the path of STS, resulting in its soul slowly fragmenting and ultimately dissolving, at what general stage would that leave the souls of 4D STS/Lizzies et. al.? I mean, if we see that some humans here, still on 3D, have developed to the stage where they would appear to be practically soulless (psychopaths, f.ex..), what amount of soul might be left in a 4D Lizzie? I recall reading that Lizzies do have souls (while greys do not, unless a Lizzie projects its own soul into it. Correct?), but my guess is that those souls must be contracting. Frankly, I’m surprised they still do possess souls at all.
And re: psychopaths, the thought occurred to me that these folks seem to be Lizzies in human clothing, so to speak. Is it possible that Lizzies could be projecting their souls into these people, making them psychopaths? That they are not truly human at all, simply Lizzies in human bodies? (This, rather than the thought that they are truly human, with human souls [albeit pure STS], but that the Lizzies have manipulated their DNA to make them the way they are.) And that this is perhaps an experiment for them to see what will happen when they project themselves into different bodies? I believe I read that this soul projection scenario might be part of the plan with regards to the “Master Race” that they are supposedly creating, but maybe I’m wrong here.
Still another member wrote:
Wow! Great story! All this stuff is starting to actually make sense… I guess it sometimes seems we have to “experience” stuff ourselves to understand things… Or at least use the understanding of the *possibility* of something to try to find where something *has* occurred in our experiences… This is where I really appreciate all your writings, Laura — they help in that search!
The discussion about the “disintegration” of the soul that might result from believing lies led to even further speculations on the part of the QFS. Another member wrote:
Gurdjieff wrote something that always troubled me – that we are born without souls and that each of us needs to do our ‘work’ to create one. I’ve rationalized this to where I can think that there might not be *personal* soul, but that each of us would, at the least, be part of ‘species’ soul, or even part of the soul of organic life on earth. This thinking allows me a little more comfort in a soul-less world. Maybe it’s just a buffer and I’m avoiding the real ‘terror of the situation’.
The question of soul, and of spirit, has been lurking about in my life of late, and I recently posted the following to another group. I’ll put it out here as well since it attempts to address the difference between soul and spirit.
I asked a list-member about magnetic center because I had been under the impression that it was at least partly essence and he had written that it is mechanical. I read and re-read the section in Ouspensky’s ‘The Fourth Way’ and, to my consternation, found that O. did, indeed, say that it was mechanical. *But* he did not say that it was strictly personality and this led me into some interesting areas.
On page 84, Ouspensky says: “And the faculty that helps man to understand and discriminate is the magnetic center.” On page 85: “If a man notices them and studies them (‘B’ influences), they may accumulate in him. The memory of these interests may begin to collect in him from a very early age and form a certain group of ‘I’s’ out of the many ‘I’s’ in him.” Same page: “It is a combination of what we are born with and outside circumstances that makes us what we are; it is all mechanical, all under the law of accident.”
That last line was the kicker for me; “..all under the law of accident.”
A couple of years ago, I realized that in the Ray of Creation both the descending *and ascending* rays must be equally mechanical – the boomerang *must* come back. But I hadn’t realized that the same could be said for essence, at least to a degree. Things like ‘heavenly influences’ could be taken as mechanical, for example, and our genetic make-up, as well. This was something of a shock for me – I’d been painting a picture of essence that wasn’t far from the ‘inner child’ sort of thing – as much as I dislike that expression. So to discover that simply grasping on to the essence was not in and of itself all that meaningful was a little surprising, even disconcerting.
The next thread in the braid came from ‘Meetings With Remarkable Men’, in the ‘Professor Skridlov’ chapter (page 243, my edition). Gurdjieff writes: “I shall place them (Father Giovanni’s ‘remarkable thoughts’), as relating to the question of the soul, that is, the third independently formed part of the common presence of a man, in the chapter entitled ‘The divine body of man, and its needs and possible manifestations according to law’, but only in the third series of my writings, as complementary to two chapters of the same series which I have already decided and promised to devote – one to the words of the venerable Persian dervish concerning the body, that is, the first independently formed part in the common presence of a man, and the other to the elucidations of the old *ez-ezounavouran* concerning the second independently formed part of a man, namely, his spirit.”
Here is the differentiation between spirit and soul – they are respectively the second and third bodies of man.
That led me to ISOM (‘Fragments’) and the chart on page 41 that describes the second body as: ‘Natural’ body; “Horse” (feelings, desires); Astral body. In the MWRM quote, G seems to be saying that this second body, the Astral body, is Spirit, and in ISOM connects it to emotional center.
Tonight I was at a Gurdjieff reading and somebody asked: “What’s the difference between ‘Soul’ and ‘Spirit’?” I brought ‘magnetic center’ into it because it seemed to apply, and the ensuing dialogue brought me to the thought that ‘Essence’ and ‘Spirit’ are one and the same thing.
This thought answers what for me has always been a troubling idea – that people are born without souls, that Soul has to be developed.
Essence becomes far more than the ‘inner child’, it becomes the animation of the physical body, its elan vitale. This can still be very much mechanical and still governed only by the soul of organic life on Earth or species soul, but it can explain auras and Don Juan’s ‘luminous egg’ as purely mechanical manifestations possessed by everybody.
Thus magnetic center, though mechanical, can utilize the power derived from the emotional center (in this case, a yearning or desire for knowledge) to lead a seeker towards something that is real. Gurdjieff and others have said that the emotional center was the key to our understanding and our being, so connecting essence, spirit and magnetic center to it seems to ‘prove the possibilities’. I somehow feel that I’ve rambled here and failed to get across the momentum that this idea has for me (tonight), but at least it’s ‘down on paper’ now. Take it out for a couple of laps and see what you think. [Al]
Next, in response to the comments about Gurdjieff, the following exchange took place between two discussion group members:

TJ wrote: What if our connection to that unified soul entity or to source is what Gurdjieff meant as “having a “soul”? There are connecting threads from us to the “self serving” aspect as well as to the “other serving” aspect [Thought centers] . Different densities are just a designation of how developed the coat of awareness [of a] being is, and how close [or "thick"] the connecting threads comprising the coat are to source. Is it direct or do we connect to another being which connect to another then to source? STO/STS designates what aspect of the source we are connected to.
As we get higher up in density the thread connection is so much stronger and “distance” is shorter. This is why we know more and in turn require more energy for existence. Big Bang is when all the connecting threads goes directly to source, or rather a big ball of energy thread which begins to unravel. In a sense when Gurdjieff says we have no soul it means we do not have a direct connection to source. Our connection is only through beings at higher levels than us. [This is why it is important as to which "thought" we align with.]

The mineral is connected via these threads to the plant the mineral doesn’t own a coat, through the thread it has a connection to, and is subject to the influence of the plant. Basically the plant feeds on it. The mineral is not too aware of the plant. It will continue to exist in mineral until it learns the mechanical laws that govern mineralness, it grows it’s essence. The animal feeds on the plant and so there is an energy thread connection also. It has more essence than the plant and mineral or rather it has the entire mineral and plant essence and is in the process of growing its coat of animal essence/awareness.
We feed on the animal and so take in the essence of animal, plant and mineral. Ours, animal and plant and mineral’s existence is one of increasing accident in the order stated. And while we are a less prone to accident than the animal we have complete souls just thicker coats of awareness because we in turn feed something else. We are subject to the whims of that something else. Until we learn the lesson of what we are by growing our coat of awareness, the essence of what we are, we will remain soulless accident prone things.

TJ wrote: I imagine 4d souls as also incomplete souls because it doesn’t have the awareness of a unified soul group. It still feeds on something else to exist. I imagine there is a point where if the soul continues to take in essences and energy without giving, or only giving so that it can get more energy (STS), it reaches a critical [negative] mass at which point there is implosion and as the Cs say regeneration as primal atoms. 4D has enough coats of awareness to be variably physical because there is so much energy and less density. 6D which is so much closer to source comprise so many coats of awareness it is a pure energy state. It is unified but has to wait until all other beings gain the same amount of awareness so they are all touching, all connected directly and not through something else. This would form one complete something I call source but some call god

Actually, at one point, questions relating to the idea of “evolving” through the densities as opposed to “falling into” matter were asked:

A: Humans were not entrapped by the “Lizards.”
Q: (B) We volunteered! (L) Well, they did say that the Lizards were waiting for the right soul matrix to “step in.” So, we were the right soul matrix and we stepped into these engineered bodies that the Lizards created. That’s what you said. So, how do we reconcile us stepping into these engineered third density bodies with soul evolution through the vegetative and animal states?
A: If you look more closely at the material, it was not stated that the consciousness levels currently represented by humans and many others “stepped into” anything in particular but PHYSICALITY.
Q: (F) Perhaps individual consciousness units have stepped into different physical forms. Some may have “stepped” in as humans right off the bat, and some may have done otherwise.
(B) You can’t get hung up on any kind of evolutionary system. It’s just an ongoing and concurrent thing..
(F) It is simply that WE chose to experience physicality in many forms, maybe simultaneous rather than in a linear progression, but since we perceive time the way we do, it seems that it is a progression. We could be all kinds of things in other realities.
(L) So that relates back to the idea of “simultaneous disbursement?” Half of The All chose to “fall asleep” as matter, and other “units” or groups chose to interact with matter by “informing” it with life of all different varieties, more or less simultaneously? So we can have souls that are slow accretions out of matter over the long wave cycle, moving through the densities over aeons, and souls that thought they would speed things up a bit by a different method of entering directly into bodies and changing them. Well, that seems like a sort of “right off the bat” violation of the free will of the energies of such bodies and their emerging consciousnesses in the long wave cycle. That right there is STS even if it was not realized as such at the time. And such an act could have some tremendous implications in terms of what you have called a “desire based imbalance.” It takes us back to the story of the Prodigal Son. So we have a very complex idea of souls and their evolution in more than one mode.
Q: (L) And in the end, it is a timeless mass division and disbursement that was, is and will be?
The above suggests to us that there is both a “rising branch of life,” and a “descending branch of life,” and any number of combinations and variations thereof.
